BASIC FEATURES — CONTROLS

STATUS LED FUNCTIONALITY
Baery level and connecon status are indicated by the LEDs as shown below:
Charge Status
When plugged in, the color of the Power LED indicates the charge status.
Connection Status
When powered on, the LEDs indicate the following connecon status:
DECT
Bluetooth
Mic (transmit)
Power
100% to 50% baery
50% to 25% baery
25% to 5% baery
(flashing) 5% or less baery
LED Status Lights (blinking/solid)
DECT Pairing/reconnecng
DECT Paired
Bluetooth Pairing/reconnecng
Bluetooth Paired
Mic Device Mute ON
Mic Radio transmit or Intercom
On/Toggle transmit
Fully charged

NEW BLUETOOTH PAIRING
BLUETOOTH USE
Use + or - on the Apex Connect or your Bluetooth device to adjust volume.
Bluetooth pairing me out is 40 seconds on the Apex Connect.
1. Turn ON your Bluetooth
device.
2. Turn ON the Apex Connect.
3. Make sure your Bluetooth
device is in pairing mode
(follow your manufacturer’s
instrucons).
4. Put the Apex Connect
into pairing mode by
simultaneously pressing PTT
and + buons, then hold
for 3 seconds and release.
Bluetooth LED should be
blinking Blue.
5. Pairing successful when
Bluetooth LED is solid Blue.

DECT PAIRING
For rst use:
1. Place Base Staon into pairing
mode (see Base Staon manual
for details).
2. With the Apex Connect powered on,
simultaneously push and hold the
PWR and PTT buons for 2 seconds,
then release. The DECT LED light will
blink green while pairing.
3. The status LED will be solid green
when connecon is successful. If it is
not, repeat the pairing process.

CHARGING
Use supplied USB-C charging cable and AC wall adapter.

WEAR OR MOUNT YOUR CONNECT
WARNINGS:
Magnets can pinch and break bones. Use extreme cauon
when handling magnets to avoid magnets snapping or slamming
together. Do not put hands, ngers or any other body parts
between magnets.
Use cauon to keep magnets at a safe distance from metals,
steel and other magnets to avoid instant impact, splintering or
breakage.
Magnec elds, especially those produced by rare earth
magnets, can aect pacemakers and other implanted medical
devices. Extreme care should be taken to keep magnets away
from these devices to avoid deacvaon. Please consult a
medical professional if there are any quesons regarding an
implanted device and magnets.
