Precautions when installing
To customers
Casing installation must be done securely. Be sure to ask a dealer or installer to install the LCD
Display or LCD Monitor properly with full consideration for safety.
WARNING Failure to follow safety precautions may result in fire or personal injury.
This manual describes important precautions to prevent accidents and how to handle the
product. Read this manual thoroughly to use the product safely. After reading this manual, be
sure to keep it where you can see it anytime.
To dealers and distributors
As casing installation requires special skills, please read this manual carefully before performing
the installation. We are not responsible for any accident or damage caused by improper
installation, improper handling, or use of LCD Displays or LCD Monitors other than those
supported by the product. Hand this manual over to the customer after the LCD Display or LCD
Monitor installation is completed.
Do not block the ventilation holes of the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors.
Blocking the ventilation holes with tape, etc. during installation may cause heat to build up inside
and result in a fire.

Observe the dimensional standards for the distance from the casing to the wall (A) and the distance from the LCD
Displays or LCD Monitors to the wall (B) when performing the installation.

When installing vertically, rotate the LCD Display or LCD
Monitor 90 degrees counterclockwise from the horizontal
position. Do not rotate the LCD Display or LCD Monitor
clockwise to install it.

Installation conditions
•Keep the ambient temperature and the temperature inside the casing within the range of 0 °C
(32 °F) to the environmental temperature stated below.
•When installing it on the wall, do not tilt it either horizontally or vertically (forward tilt angle 0°).
•Keep a distance of at least 2.5 cm (1 in) from the casing to the wall.
•Keep a distance of at least 2.5 cm (1 in) from the back of the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors to the wall.
•For some models, leave at least 5 mm (7/32 in) of space between the casing and the LCD Displays or LCD
Monitors (see below).
•Make sure that the weight of the casing frame is not put on the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors, and install
it firmly so that the casing will not fall off.

About the space between the casing and the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors
Some models require a space between the casing and the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors. Please refer to the “Detailed
installation conditions for each model” (page 5) for the target models.
Observe the dimensions of the top (C), front (D), side (E), and bottom (F) of the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors when
performing the installation.

Usage precautions/others
•When the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors is installed on the wall, the use of some terminals may be
restricted.
•If the periphery of the LED is blocked by the casing, the operation status may become unclear and the
remote control may not work.
•When performing casing installation, be sure to turn off the brightness sensor in the (Settings) menu.
•When moving the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors, carry it horizontally as it may drop if it is carried
vertically. Please also note that putting excessive force on the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors may deform
it.
•The interference between the casing frame and the LCD Displays or LCD Monitors may cause a rattling
sound.

revendeur ou à un installateur d’installer l’ÉcranLCD ou le MoniteurLCD correctement en tenant
pleinement compte de la sécurité.
AVERTISSEMENT Le non-respect des consignes de sécurité peut occasionner un
incendie ou des blessures corporelles.
Ce manuel décrit les précautions importantes à prendre pour éviter les accidents ainsi que la
manière de manipuler le produit. Lisez ce manuel attentivement afin d’utiliser le produit en
toute sécurité. Après avoir lu ce manuel, veillez à le conserver dans un endroit accessible afin de
pouvoir le consulter à tout moment.

L’installation du caisson nécessitant des compétences particulières, veuillez lire attentivement ce
manuel avant de procéder à l’installation. Nous ne pourrons être tenus responsables de tout

l’utilisation d’ÉcransLCD ou de MoniteursLCD autres que ceux pris en charge par le produit.
Transmettez ce manuel au client une fois l’installation de l’ÉcranLCD ou du MoniteurLCD
terminée.
N’obstruez pas les orifices d’aération des Écrans LCD ou des Moniteurs LCD.
L’obstruction des orifices d’aération avec du ruban adhésif, etc. pendant l’installation peut
entraîner une accumulation de chaleur à l’intérieur et provoquer un incendie.

Pour une installation verticale, faites pivoter l’ÉcranLCD ou
le MoniteurLCD de 90degrés dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d’une montre à partir de la position horizontale.
Ne faites pas pivoter l’ÉcranLCD ou le MoniteurLCD dans
le sens des aiguilles d’une montre pour l’installer.
