Charging the unit
This unit has a built-in lithium-ion rechargeable battery. Charge the battery
by using the AC adaptor supplied before you use the unit.

Lit (orange)
Charging starts when the unit is connected to an AC outlet via the
AC adaptor, and the CHARGE indicator (orange) lights up. Charging is
completed in about 3 hours and the indicator goes off.
Pairing and connecting with the BLUETOOTH device
Select your case from the 4 pairing types, below.
Pairing with the BLUETOOTH device for
the first time (Auto pairing)
1Slide and hold the POWER/HOLD switch to POWER ON/
OFF until the power indicator lights up in green to turn on
this unit.
Fast flashing (blue)

2Perform the pairing procedure on the BLUETOOTH device
to detect this unit.
When the list of detected devices appears on the display of the
BLUETOOTH device, select “SONY:SRS-BTS50.”
If passkey input is required on the display of a BLUETOOTH device,
input “0000.”
3Make the BLUETOOTH connection from the BLUETOOTH
device.
When the unit is connected with the BLUETOOTH device, the
(BLUETOOTH) indicator (blue) stops flashing and lights up.
Pairing with 2nd and more BLUETOOTH
devices (Manual pairing)
1Turn on the unit.
2Press and hold the PAIRING button for about 2 seconds
until the (BLUETOOTH) indicator (blue) starts flashing
fast.

3Perform steps 2 and 3 of “Pairing with the BLUETOOTH
device for the first time (Auto pairing).”
Connecting with the paired device
1Turn on the unit.
2If the (BLUETOOTH) indicator (blue) is turned off, press
the INPUT button once to make the (BLUETOOTH)
indicator (blue) flash.
3Make the BLUETOOTH connection from the BLUETOOTH
device.
One-touch connection with a smartphone
By touching the unit with a smartphone, the unit is turned on
automatically and then proceeds to pairing and BLUETOOTH connection.
NFC
NFC (Near Field Communication) is a technology enabling short-
range wireless communication between various devices, such
as mobile phones and IC tags. Thanks to the NFC function, data
communication can be achieved easily just by touching the relevant
symbol or designated location on NFC compatible devices.
1Set the NFC function of the smartphone to on.
For details, refer to the operating instructions supplied with the
smartphone.
 If your smartphone OS is Android 2.3.3 or later, and less than Android 4.1:
proceed to step 2.
 If your smartphone OS is Android 4.1 or later: proceed to step 4.
2Download and install the app “NFC Easy Connect.”
“NFC Easy Connect” is a free Android app you can download from
Google Play.
Download the app by searching for “NFC Easy Connect” or access it
by using the following two-dimensional code. Fees may be charged
for downloading the app.
By the two-dimensional code:
Use a two-dimensional code reader app.
Note
 The App may not be available in some countries and/or regions.
3Start the app “NFC Easy Connect” on the smartphone.
Make sure that the application screen is displayed.
4Touch this unit with the smartphone.
Unlock the screen of the smartphone beforehand.
Touch the smartphone on the N marked part of this unit.
Keep touching the unit with the smartphone until the smartphone reacts.
Complete the connection by following the instructions on the screen.
When the (BLUETOOTH) indicator (blue) stops flashing and remains
lit, the unit is connected with the device.
To disconnect the unit, touch it with the smartphone again.
Hint
If you cannot connect the unit, try the following.
 Start the app on the smartphone, and move the smartphone slowly over
the N mark of the unit.
 If the smartphone is in a case, remove it from the case.
Listening and Calling
Operate the unit after making BLUETOOTH connection with your BLUETOOTH
device.
Listening to music
Profile: A2DP, AVRCP
Start playback on the BLUETOOTH device, and adjust the volume.
Set the volume at an appropriate level on the device connected, and
adjust the volume with the VOL +/– buttons on the unit.

Microphone
Operate your mobile phone to make a call.
To terminate a call, press the button on the unit.
Press the button on the unit when an incoming call arrives.
Operate in the same way when an incoming call arrives while you are
listening to the music.

Chargement de l’appareil
L’appareil est équipé d’une batterie rechargeable intégrée au lithium
ion. Pour recharger la batterie, utilisez l’adaptateur secteur avant de faire
fonctionner l’appareil.

Sélectionnez l’un des 4 types de pairage suivants.

1Faites glisser le commutateur POWER/HOLD en position
POWER ON/OFF et maintenez-le ainsi jusqu’à ce que
le témoin d’alimentation vert s’allume afin de mettre
l’appareil sous tension.

2Effectuez la procédure de pairage sur le périphérique
BLUETHOOTH pour détecter l’appareil.

3Vérifiez la connexion BLUETOOTH sur le périphérique

Lorsque l’appareil est connecté avec le périphérique BLUETOOTH, le
témoin (BLUETOOTH) (bleu) cesse de clignoter et reste allumé.

1Mettez l’appareil sous tension.
2Appuyez sur le bouton PAIRING et maintenez-le enfoncé
pendant 2 secondes environ jusqu’à ce que le témoin
(BLUETOOTH) (bleu) commence à clignoter rapidement.

une fois sur le bouton INPUT pour que le témoin

3Vérifiez la connexion BLUETOOTH sur le périphérique

Connexion par simple contact avec un
smartphone
Si vous touchez l’appareil avec un smartphone, il est automatiquement
mis sous tension et effectue le pairage et la connexion BLUETOOTH.
NFC
NFC (Near Field Communication) est une technologie permettant
d’établir une communication sans fil à courte portée entre divers
périphériques, tels que des téléphones portables et des étiquettes
électroniques. Grâce à la fonction NFC, la communication de
données peut être réalisée facilement en touchant simplement le
symbole pertinent ou l’emplacement désigné sur les périphériques
compatibles avec NFC.
1Réglez la fonction NFC du smartphone en position de
marche.
Pour plus de détails, reportez-vous au mode d’emploi fourni avec le
smartphone.
 Si le système d’exploitation de votre smartphone est Android 2.3.3 ou
version ultérieure mais antérieure à Android 4.1: passez à l’étape 2.
 Si le système d’exploitation de votre smartphone est Android 4.1 passez
à l’étape 4.
2Téléchargez et installez l’application «Connexion NFC
facile».
«Connexion NFC facile» est une application Android gratuite que
vous pouvez télécharger sur Google Play.
Téléchargez l’application en recherchant «Connexion NFC facile»
ou accédez-y à l’aide du code en deux dimensions suivant. Le
téléchargement de l’application peut être payant.
Avec le code en deux dimensions:
Utilisez une application de lecture de code en deux
dimensions.
Remarque
 Il est possible que l’application ne soit pas disponible dans certains pays
et/ou dans certaines régions.
3Démarrez l’application «Connexion NFC facile» sur le
smartphone.
Vérifiez que l’écran de l’application est affiché.
4Mettez l’appareil en contact avec le smartphone.
Déverrouillez préalablement l’écran du smartphone.
Placez le smartphone sur la partie marquée d’un N sur l’appareil.
Maintenez le contact entre l’appareil et le smartphone jusqu’à ce que le
smartphone réagisse.
Pour finaliser la connexion, suivez les instructions affichées à l’écran.
Lorsque le témoin (BLUETOOTH) (bleu) cesse de clignoter et reste
allumé, l’appareil est connecté au périphérique.
Pour déconnecter l’appareil, touchez-le de nouveau avec le
smartphone.
Astuce
Si vous ne parvenez pas à connecter l’appareil, essayez ce qui suit.
 Démarrez l’application sur le smartphone et déplacez lentement le
smartphone sur le repère N de l’appareil.
 Si le smartphone se trouve dans un étui, sortez-le de l’étui.
Écoute et appel
Utilisez l’appareil après avoir établi la connexion BLUETOOTH avec votre
périphérique BLUETOOTH.
Écoute de musique
Profil: A2DP, AVRCP
Commencez la lecture sur l’appareil BLUETOOTH et réglez le
volume.
Réglez le volume à un niveau correct sur le périphérique connecté et
réglez le volume avec les boutons VOL +/– sur l’appareil.

Al tocar la unidad con un teléfono inteligente, la unidad se enciende
automáticamente, se empareja con el teléfono y establece la conexión
BLUETOOTH.
NFC
NFC (Near Field Communication) es una tecnología que hace
posible la comunicación inalámbrica de corto alcance entre varios
dispositivos como, por ejemplo, los teléfonos móviles y las etiquetas
de circuito integrado (IC tags). La función NFC permite establecer la
comunicación con solo tocar el símbolo pertinente o la ubicación

2Descargue e instale la aplicación “Conexión fácil NFC”.
“Conexión fácil NFC” es una aplicación gratuita de Android que se

3Inicie la aplicación “Conexión fácil NFC” en el teléfono

Desbloquee en primer lugar la pantalla del teléfono inteligente.

Sugerencia
Si no se puede conectar la unidad, haga lo siguiente.
 Inicie la aplicación en el teléfono inteligente y mueva el teléfono
inteligente lentamente sobre la marca N de la unidad.
 Si el teléfono inteligente está en su funda, extráigalo primero.
Escuchar y llamar

Smartphone
Durch die Berührung des Geräts mit einem Smartphone wird das Gerät
automatisch eingeschaltet und beginnt dann mit dem Koppeln und dem
Herstellen einer BLUETOOTH-Verbindung.

NFC (Near Field Communication) ist eine Technologie, die auf kurze
Distanz eine drahtlose Kommunikation zwischen verschiedenen
Geräten wie beispielsweise Mobiltelefonen und IC Tags ermöglicht.

1Einschalten der NFC-Funktion eines Smartphones
Entnehmen Sie Details der dem Smartphone beiliegenden
Bedienungsanleitung.
 Smartphone-Betriebssystem mit einer Android-Version zwischen 2.3.3
und unter 4.1: Mit Schritt 2 fortfahren.
 Smartphone-Betriebssystem mit einer Android-Version von 4.1 oder
höher: Mit Schritt 4 fortfahren.
2Laden Sie die App „NFC-Schnellverbindung“ herunter und
installieren Sie sie.
„NFC-Schnellverbindung“ ist eine kostenlose Android-App, die unter
Google Play heruntergeladen werden kann.
Laden Sie die App herunter, indem Sie nach „NFC-Schnellverbindung“

3Starten Sie die App „NFC-Schnellverbindung“ auf Ihrem

Entsperren Sie zuvor den Bildschirm des Smartphones.

reagiert.

dauerhaft leuchtet, ist dieses Gerät mit dem anderen Gerät

Het toestel opladen
Dit toestel heeft een ingebouwde lithium-ion oplaadbare batterij. Laad
de batterij alvorens gebruik van het toestel op met de bijgeleverde
netadapter.

Selecteer een van de 4 verschillende koppelingsmethodes hieronder.

apparaat uit om dit toestel te herkennen.
Als de lijst met herkende apparaten op het scherm van het

Indien een wachtwoord moet worden ingevoerd op het scherm van
een BLUETOOTH-apparaat, voer dan "0000" in.
3Breng de BLUETOOTH-verbinding vanuit het BLUETOOTH-
apparaat tot stand.
Wanneer het toestel is verbonden met het BLUETOOTH-apparaat
stopt het knipperen van de (BLUETOOTH)-indicator (blauw) en licht
deze op.

1Schakel het toestel in.
2Houd de PAIRING-toets ongeveer 2 seconden ingedrukt
totdat de (BLUETOOTH)-indicator (blauw) snel begint te

Verbinden met het gekoppelde apparaat
1Schakel het toestel in.
2Indien de (BLUETOOTH)-indicator (blauw) is
gedoofd, drukt u eenmaal op de INPUT-toets zodat de
(BLUETOOTH)-indicator (blauw) knippert.
3Breng de BLUETOOTH-verbinding vanuit het BLUETOOTH-
apparaat tot stand.
One-touch connection met een
smartphone
Wanneer het toestel wordt aangeraakt met een smartphone, schakelt het
automatisch in waarna wordt gekoppeld en de BLUETOOTH-verbinding tot
stand wordt gebracht.
NFC
NFC (Near Field Communication) is een technologie waarmee
op korte afstand draadloze communicatie tussen verschillende
apparaten, zoals mobiele telefoons en IC tags, mogelijk is. Dankzij
NFC komt datacommunicatie eenvoudig tot stand door op apparaten
die geschikt zijn voor NFC het betreffende symbool of een speciale
plek aan te raken.
1Schakel de NFC-functie van de smartphone in.
Zie de gebruiksaanwijzing van de smartphone voor details.
 Indien het besturingsprogramma van uw smartphone Android 2.3.3 of
later en eerder dan Android 4.1 is: ga naar stap 2.
 Indien het besturingsprogramma van uw smartphone Android 4.1 of later
is: ga naar stap 4.
2Download en installeer de toepassing "NFC eenvoudig
verbinden".
"NFC eenvoudig verbinden" is een gratis Android app die u kunt
downloaden van Google Play.
Download de app door "NFC eenvoudig verbinden" te zoeken of
gebruik de volgende tweedimensionale code. Voor het downloaden
van de app kunnen kosten worden aangerekend.
Met de tweedimensionale code:
Gebruik een tweedimensionale code reader app.
Opmerking
 De toepassing is mogelijk niet beschikbaar in bepaalde landen en/of
regio’s.
3Start de "NFC eenvoudig verbinden" app op de
smartphone.
Controleer dat het scherm van de app verschijnt.
4Raak dit toestel aan met de smartphone.
Ontgrendel vooraf het scherm van de smartphone.
Raak het toestel met de smartphone aan op de plaats die met N is
gemarkeerd.
Blijf het toestel aanraken met de smartphone totdat deze reageert.
Voltooi de verbinding door de aanwijzingen op het scherm te volgen.
Wanneer de (BLUETOOTH)-indicator (blauw) stopt te knipperen en
opgelicht blijft, is het toestel met het apparaat verbonden.
Raak het toestel opnieuw aan met de smartphone om de verbinding
te verbreken.
Tip
Probeer het volgende wanneer niet kan worden verbonden met het
toestel.
 Start de app op de smartphone en beweeg de smartphone langzaam
over de N-markering van het toestel.
 Haal de smartphone eventueel uit zijn tasje.
Luisteren en bellen
Bedien het toestel nadat de BLUETOOTH-verbinding met uw BLUETOOTH
apparaat is gemaakt.
Naar muziek luisteren

Start de weergave op het BLUETOOTH-apparaat en stel het
volume in.
Stel het volume passend in met het verbonden apparaat en regel
vervolgens het volume verder met de VOL +/–-toetsen op het toestel.

Gebruik uw mobiele telefoon om een gesprek te voeren.

ontvangt.
Voer dezelfde handeling uit wanneer er een gesprek binnenkomt terwijl u
naar muziek luistert.

Il presente apparecchio è dotato di una batteria ricaricabile a ioni di litio
incorporata. Caricare la batteria utilizzando l’alimentatore CA in dotazione
prima di utilizzare l’apparecchio.

Connessione One touch con uno
smartphone
Toccando l’apparecchio con uno smartphone, l’apparecchio si accende
automaticamente, quindi procede con l’esecuzione dell’associazione e
della connessione BLUETOOTH.
NFC
NFC (Near Field Communication) è una tecnologia che consente la
comunicazione senza fili a corto raggio tra svariati dispositivi, ad
esempio telefoni cellulari e “tag” con circuiti integrati. Grazie alla
funzione NFC, è possibile stabilire facilmente la comunicazione dati
semplicemente toccando il simbolo in questione o l’ubicazione
designata su dispositivi compatibili NFC.
1Attivare la funzione NFC dello smartphone.
Per i dettagli, consultare le istruzioni per l’uso in dotazione con lo
smartphone.
 Se il sistema operativo dello smartphone utilizzato è Android 2.3.3 o una
versione successiva e inferiore ad Android 4.1: passare al punto 2.
 Se il sistema operativo dello smartphone utilizzato è Android 4.1 o una
versione successiva: passare al punto 4.
2Scaricare e installare l’applicazione “Connessione facile NFC”.
“Connessione facile NFC” è un’applicazione Android gratuita che può
essere scaricata da Google Play.
Scaricare l’applicazione cercando “Connessione facile NFC”, oppure
accedere all’applicazione utilizzando il codice bidimensionale seguente.
Per lo scaricamento dell’applicazione potrebbero venire applicati dei costi.
Mediante il codice bidimensionale:
Utilizzare un’applicazione per la lettura dei codici

Nota
 Questa applicazione potrebbe non essere disponibile per lo
scaricamento in alcune nazioni o aree geografiche.
3Avviare l’applicazione “Connessione facile NFC” sullo
smartphone.
Assicurarsi che la schermata dell’applicazione venga visualizzata.
4Toccare il presente apparecchio con lo smartphone.
Sbloccare anticipatamente lo schermo dello smartphone.
Toccare con lo smartphone la parte contrassegnata dal simbolo N del
presente apparecchio.
Continuare a toccare l’apparecchio con lo smartphone fino a quando
quest’ultimo reagisce.
Completare la connessione attenendosi alle istruzioni sullo schermo.
Quando l’indicatore (BLUETOOTH) (blu) smette di lampeggiare e
resta illuminato, l’apparecchio è connesso con il dispositivo.
Per disconnettere l’apparecchio, toccarlo di nuovo con lo smartphone.
Suggerimento
Qualora non si riesca a connettere l’apparecchio, provare con la procedura
seguente.
 Avviare l’applicazione sullo smartphone, quindi muovere lentamente lo
smartphone al di sopra del simbolo N dell’apparecchio.
 Qualora lo smartphone sia inserito in una custodia, rimuoverlo da
quest’ultima.
Ascolto e chiamata
Utilizzare l’apparecchio dopo aver effettuato la connessione BLUETOOTH con il
dispositivo BLUETOOTH utilizzato.
Ascolto di musica
Profilo: A2DP, AVRCP
Avviare la riproduzione sul dispositivo BLUETOOTH, quindi
regolare il volume.
Impostare il volume a un livello appropriato sul dispositivo connesso,
quindi regolare il volume con i pulsanti VOL +/– sull’apparecchio.

Effettuazione di una chiamata/Ricezione

Quando si riceve una chiamata, premere il pulsante
sull’apparecchio.
Eseguire la stessa operazione quando si riceve una chiamata mentre si sta
ascoltando della musica.
