‚Keep this manual handy as a reference for operating procedures and precautions. Do not allow persons
who have not read t hrough t his m anual t o use t his unit .
‚“ CLASS 1 LASER PRODUCT”
This product contains a laser diode of higher class than 1. Laser beams from the optical pickup are
dangerous t o the eyes. To ensure cont inued safety, do not rem ove any covers or attem pt to gain access
to t he inside of t he product . Refer all servicing to qualified personnel.
‚Do not allow t his unit to come into cont act with liquids. Electrical shock could result . Also, dam age to this
unit , sm oke, and overheat ing could result from cont act wit h liquids or dust . Prot ect t his unit from
m oist ure.
‚Make sure that foreign obj ect s do not get inside t he unit ; t hey m ay cause malfunct ions, or creat e safety
hazar ds such as electrical shock or laser beam exposure.
‚The beginning of operation is t he moment of the unit installat ion. Before use t he device in wint er it is
recom m ended t o heat up t he passenger com par tm ent during 20 seconds or t o t he operat ion t em per at ure.
‚Using the unit with the temperature that goes beyond the operation temperature greatly decreases the
operat ion resource of t he screen and other com ponent s of the unit and can result in an out age.
‚Disconnect the v ehicle’s negat ive bat ter y t erm inal while m ounting and connect ing t he unit .
‚The unit is designed for negative term inal of the battery, which is connected to the vehicle metal. Please
ensure it before installat ion.
‚When replacing t he fuse, be sure to use one with an identical am perage rating. Using a fuse with a higher
am perage rat ing m ay cause serious dam age t o t he unit .
‚Do not allow the speaker wires to be shorted together when the unit is switched on. Otherwise it may
overload or burn out t he power am plifier.
‚Make sure you disconnect the power supply and aerial if you w ill not b e using t he system for a long period
or during a t hunderst orm .
‚Make sure you disconnect t he power supply if t he syst em appears t o be working incorrect ly, is m aking an
unusual sound, has a strange smell, has smoke emitting from it or liquids have got inside it. Let a
qualified t echnician check t he system .
‚Always keep t he volume low enough so t hat you can hear sounds from out side t he vehicle.
‚Should t his product fail t o operate properly, contact your dealer or nearest service center.

I n st a lla t ion / Con n e ct ion s
‚Choose the m ount ing locat ion where t he unit will not int erfere with the normal driving function of t he
driver.
‚Before finally inst alling t he unit, connect the wiring and make sure that the unit w orks properly.
‚Consult with your nearest dealer if inst allation requires t he drilling of holes or ot her m odificat ions of the
vehicle.
‚Install the unit where it does not get in the driver's way and cannot injure the passenger if there is a
sudden st op, like an em er gency st op.
‚I f inst allat ion angle exceeds 30° from horizon tal, the unit m ay not perform proper ly.
‚Avoid inst alling t he unit where it would be subj ect to high tem perat ure, such as from direct sunlight , or
from hot air , f rom t he heat er, or w her e it w ould be subj ect t o d ust , dirt or excessiv e v ibr at ion .
M oun t in g
‚Rem ove t he m ounting sleeve (1) from t he unit .
‚Slide the m ount ing sleeve into the 2- DI N
inst allat ion slot provided for t he car radio.
‚At tach t he m ounting sleeve by bending t he
installation brackets towards the outside with a
screwdr iver. The sleeve is properly inst alled
when it can no longer be pulled out, yet also
keeps fr om sliding int o t he installat ion slot .
‚Connect the cable set and the antenna t o the
vehicle’s elect ronics corresponding to t he
connection t able ( see far ther).
‚At tach t he m ount ing racks t o t he sides of t he
un it , and fix t h em w it h t he scr ew s as in ( 2 ) .
‚I nsert the unit into t he m ount ing sleeve unt il t he
st op ( 3) . The un it t hen audibly snaps int o t he
sleeve.
‚Fast en t he four scr ews ( 4 ) t o fix t h e unit t o t he m ount ing sleeve.

‚Place the trim ring (5) over the unit and the installation is completed. (Some vehicles may not need a
t rim r ing) .
‚The device is distinguished by a high degree of output . During operation, this result s in a st rong heat
generation. Therefore no cables or ot her part s m ay adj oin t he device. I f their insulat ion m elts, there is
the risk of a short circuit or fire.
‚Removing: Turn off the device. Remove the front panel and place it into the protective case. Clamp off
the negative pole of t he vehicle batt ery for t he duration of the disassembly. First carefully rem ove the
trim r ing (5) of t he unit, by slightly pulling it upwards and t hen tow ards you. Now unscrew the four
screw s as show n in ( 4) . Rem ove carefully t he un it fr om t he m ount in g sleeve and discon nect all wires.
Make sure that no vehicle cable can cause a short circuit after t he device has been unplugged.

‚To attach the front panel, insert the upper side of the panel first and make sure the connection pins slide
int o the connect ion slot s and then press the low er part of t he panel t o the unit until hear a click.
‚Slant t he front panel down. Press the release lock ( in t he bot t om of t he front panel) upward to release the
front panel, and then take out the front panel by pulling it downwards and then towards you from the
bottom. Once the front panel is removed, the back plate will close automatically after a few seconds and
the panel stat us indicat or will blink.
N ot e : The cont rol panel can easily be damaged by shocks. After rem oving it , place it in a protective case and
be careful not t o drop it or subject it t o st rong shocks. The rear connect or that connect s the main unit and
the cont rol panel is an extrem ely im portant part . Be careful not t o dam age it by pressing on it w it h
fingernails, pens, screwdrivers, etc.
N ot e : I f the control panel is dirty, wipe off the dirt with soft, dry cloth only. And use a cotton swab soaked in
isopropy l alcohol t o clean t he socket on t he back of t he cont rol panel.

The front panel of this unit can be stored in t he included protect ive case when not in used and carried away
wh en y ou leave t he vehicle t o det er t heft .
Switch off t he pow er of t he unit. Det ach the fr ont panel, then put it to t he protect ive case and t ake it with
you.

Using t h e I SO Con ne ct or
1. I f your car is equipped with the I SO connect or, then connect the ISO connectors
as illustrat ed.
2. For connect ions without t he ISO connect ors, check t he wiring in the vehicle
carefully bef ore connect ing, incor rect connect ion m ay cause ser iou s dam age t o
this unit.
Cut the connector , connect the colored leads of the power cord to t he car battery as
shown in the colour code table below for speaker and power cable connect ions.

If Parking cable is connected to hand brake switch, the video display of the TFT m onitor will be controlled by
driving status, system setup and input video sources. When the car is moving ahead, if the video disc is
played, the screen shows a warning message. The warning screen will prevent the driver from watching
im ages.

If the rear view video camera is connected, the unit automatically switches to camera picture during reverse

‚St ore t he bat t ery where children cannot reach. I f a child accident ally swallows the bat tery, consult a

‚Do n ot recharge, short , disassem ble or heat the bat t ery or dispose it in a fire.
‚Do not expose or bring int o cont act the bat tery wit h ot her m etallic m at er ials. Doing t his m ay cause t he
bat tery t o give off heat, crack or start a fire.
‚When throwing away or saving the battery, wrap it in tape and insulate; otherwise, the battery may give

Due t o the touch screen, you can fulfill m ost functions not only by pressing but tons but also by t ouching t he
opt ions you need.
Tu rning t h e u nit on / o ff
Press any button (except EJECT button) t o switch the unit on. Press and hold POWER but ton on the panel or
PWR but ton on the RC t o turn off the power.
Re se t t h e u n it
Operat ing the unit for the first t im e or aft er replacing t he car batter y, you m ust reset t he unit . Press reset
button on the unit with a pointed object ( such as a ballpoint pen) to set t he unit t o initial stat e.
N ot e : When som e errors occur on t he d isplay, you can also p ress reset butt on t o resum e to norm al, and it
will erase t he clock set t ing and som e m em orized fu nct ions.
Volum e con trol
Press VOL+ / VOL- but t ons on the RC or on t he unit to increase/ decrease the sound level.

1. Set t in g list . Touch a set t ing t o select its adj ust m ent .

DUAL - dual zone funct ion enabling user t o listen t o radio or wat ch TV in t he front zone, and at t he sam e t im e
play audio or video fr om disc, USB or m em or y card.

‚TA: Seek/Alarm. In TA SEEK mode, the unit will seek for traffic announcement program when TA is
pressed; in TA ALARM m ode, no TA/ TP is displayed and t he alarm is set off.

‚Mask: DPI/ ALL. During MASK DPI mode, the unit will mask only the AF which has different PI , this is the
default mode; during MASK ALL m ode, the unit will m ask t he AF which has different PI and no RDS signal
wit h high field st rengt h.

Calibrat ion page
“ Carefully press and hold stylus on t he center of t he target . Repeat as the t arget m oves around t he screen” is
displayed. Touch and hold t he cross in each position unt il it m oves t o a different posit ion. Aft er repeat ing it 4
tim es, t he calibration of t he screen is com plete; t ouch the screen anywhere t o ret urn t o m enu. The
calibration procedure is useful when som e m alfunct ion occur wit h the t ouch screen, and it needs adjustm ent.

user interface will be displayed on t he display:
1. PTY button. Touch to enable/ disable PTY funct ion. I n t he
PTY list , touch a program type t o start its search.
2. TA but t on. Touch to enable/ disable TA funct ion.
3. AF but ton. Touch t o enable/ disable AF funct ion.
4. ST but ton. Touch t o select st ereo/ m ono recept ion m ode.
5. Current band and frequency.
6. Touch t o enable navigat ion m ode.
7. Preset st ation but ton. Touch t o select t he station. Touch
and hold t o save the current frequency under the preset
number.
8. LOC button. Touch t o select local/ dist ant stat ion reception.
9. Mute button; t ouch t o switch sound on/ off.
10. Volum e down button. Touch to decrease volum e.
11. Volum e level.
12. Volum e up but ton. Touch t o increase volume.
13. BAND button. Touch t o select bands.
14. AS/ PS button. Touch to scan all saved st at ions in curr ent band. Touch and hold t o find and save 6
available stations in current band.
15. ;button. Touch for aut om at ic search of the nearest station dow nwards.
16. 9button. Touch repeatedly to change frequency st ep by step downwards.
