MOUNTING POLE DIMENSIONS:
Mechanical forces to be considered are shown in the picture below:
Minimum pole diameter must be 76 mm.
In order to receive signals through geostationary
satellites, you need a clear view in the direction in
which the satellite is pointed, i.e.: Clear to the north

SATELLITE DISH ALIGNMENT PROCEDURE:
you to align the satellite dish regardless your geographical position with respect to Earth station
latitude and Delta L, the difference between earth station longitude and satellite longitude. Angle
representation is given according to the convention described in the pointing data on page 14.
Important! Precise alignment requires the use of a professional eld strength meter
SATELLITE DISH ALIGNMENT:
Use the elevation and azimuth charts at the end of this user manual to determine your elevation setting
NB: Check all nuts and bolts are correctly tightened (Mount and LNB holder).

POINTING DATA ACCORDING TO GEOGRAPHICAL SITUATION:
CAUTION! EAST longitude: + sign WEST longitude: - sign
ALIGNMENT EXAMPLE USING THE ANGULAR CONVENTIONS:
Paris:
Latitude : 48.85°N Longitude : 2.34E
Satellite AB3 : 5W ie –5°
DELTA = I –5 – 2.34 I = I –7.34 I = 7.34
Satellite is West of the alignment location and latitude is close to 49° Northern Hemisphere.
Look at the azimuth chart for the Northern Hemisphere, Satellite west of the site.
Azimuth in NH (chart P13) : Az = 190° (10°West from south)
Elevation (chart P 12) : El = 33°
Polarisation (chart P 12) : 6° negative anti-clockwise direction
DELTA
satellite dish site longitude and the satellite
longitude, in absolute terms.
DELTA = Location Longitude - Satellite Longitude
Azimuth angle is positive from North pole
WARNING!
Satellite West of satellite dish site:
+ sign Clockwise (CW)
Satellite East of satellite dish site:
- sign Anti-Clockwise (ACW)
