The Spieth America Just for Kids Line is designed and intended for use by beginner
level gymnasts under a weight of 150 lbs (68 kg).
The assembly of this apparatus requires 2 qualified people.
Tools Required:
One 9/16-inch and one 5/8-inch spanner wrench or two small adjustable wrenches.
1. Assembly Instructions
1. Insert the two upright posts over the two chrome tubes of the base, making sure the Snap Lock
pin locks into the same hole position on both sides.
2. Lay the upright posts flat on the floor, with the short round connecting tubes facing up.
3. Hold the monkey bar ladder vertically and place the ladder ends on the upright connecting tubes
on the uprights. Note that the rail cradles will rest on the JFK unit, so make sure they face down
when assembling the ladder and uprights.
4. Bolt the uprights and the ladder together using the 9/16 bolts, lock washers and nuts. Note that
the bolt head should be on the outside of the ladder and the lock washer and round head nut on
the inside.
5. Once the uprights and ladder are assembled, stand up the assembly so that the rail cradles rest
on the Just for Kids Horizontal Bar.
6. Secure the Just for Kids Monkey Bar assembly to the Just for Kids Horizontal bar by wrapping the
Velcro straps around the rail and the cradles.
7. Adjust height using the adjusting holes and spin snap lock. To release the spin snap lock, turn the
red knob counter clockwise completely, then pull the silver pin out to disengage it from the hole.
Set height, make sure the pin is fully engaged in a hole, then turn the red knob clockwise to
secure clamp.
8. Make sure to check assembly by cautiously applying weight to the ladder.
This apparatus must only be used in the horizontal position. Do not use the ladder on an
inclined position. This will put excess stress on the connections and may cause permanent
damage to your apparatus.
