Thank you for purchasing one of our ALL-AMERICAN SPOTTING PLATFORMS. We appreciate your
business and value you as a customer.
This equipment is manufactured of the finest materials and has been thoroughly inspected before leaving
our plant. We are sure you will be pleased with its quality, durability and performance.
Please carefully read the following instructions before assembling and using your new equipment.
The exclamation mark symbol when seen in this booklet is used to indicate warnings
or items that require special attention during the use or assembly of the apparatus.
Assembly, set-up and adjustment of this equipment should only be undertaken by
qualified persons. At no time should children or other unqualified persons undertake
the assembly, set-up, installation or adjustment of this equipment.
For assembly and set-up instructions, please read and follow all instructions below as they apply to your
particular piece of equipment.
Be sure to read and follow all SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS on the last page of this manual before attempting
to use the apparatus.

The platforms are spring loaded and will return to the upright position at a high rate of
speed! You will need 3 qualified people to assemble this product!
1. Assembly
1. Have two people grab each end of the spotting platform base tube, with one hand on the platform
and the other on the base tube.
2. Have the 3rd person partially tighten the clamps with a 3/8”allen wrench.
3. Adjust the height to the desired location and tighten the clamp fully. Grab the longer part of the
allen wrench in your hand to tighten the clamp as this will increase your leverage.
If mounting the clamp to the All-American Uneven Bars Long Upright, make sure the
clamp is mounted below the adjusting handle lower range for adjustment.

Not following all instructions could cause injury! Read all safety instructions before
using the spotting platform.
4. The Spotting Platform location holes allow for the platform to be leveled compared to the angle of
your apparatus upright (see picture below).

5. The pin must be fully engaged and controlled before each use of the spotting platform. The pin
must be inserted all the way into the pivot, and the spring loaded locking ball must be
showing.
6. The clamp bolts tightness should be controlled before each use and after adjusting heights.
7. Always use two people to adjust the angle of the platform: one person to hold the end of the
spotting platform base tube and to move the platform to the desired angle, and the other person to
line-up and insert the pin.
Always check the spotting platform for stability before standing on it. The clamp must
be tight at all times to avoid injury!

2. SAFETY
WARNING
Any activity involving motion or height creates the possibility of serious injury including
permanent paralysis and even death, from landing or falling on the neck, head, or other parts
of the body.
You assume a risk of serious injury in using this equipment. However, this risk can be
reduced by strictly following these rules at all times.
1. Use this equipment only under the supervision of a trained and qualified instructor.
2. This equipment must be used only when protected by proper matting as recommended by
the Federation of International Gymnasts (F.I.G.). If in doubt concerning proper matting, do
not use this equipment.
3. This equipment must be used with proper spotting equipment and qualified spotters
suitable to the activity or skill. Always consult an instructor.
4. Know your own limitations and the limitations of this equipment. Follow progressive learning
techniques and always consult an instructor.
5. Always inspect this equipment for proper stability before each use.
6. Always inspect this equipment for loose fittings and parts. Replace any worn, defective or
missing parts.
7. Always inspect this equipment for improper or unsafe installation. If in doubt, do not use
this equipment.
