SpyCameraCCTV IDDVRCAM226 User manual

MicroSD Card
Install the micro SD card in to the slot on the top
of the unit. Push it in until it ‘clicks’. To remove,
push it until it ‘clicks’ again, then release and it will
spring out enough to be able to remove.
Charging the unit
Connect the supplied charger to the USB port of
the device. The red light will come on to indicate
it is connected to the adapter. Once fully charged
the red light will go out.
Playback on your computer
For playing back the les on your computer, we
recommend using VLC Media Player. The latest
version can be downloaded for free from http://
www.videolan.org
Powering on the unit
Once fully charged; press the power button on
the remote. The blue status light will come on to
indicate the unit is powered on.
Recording video
Once powered on, press the video record button
on either the remote or the device. The blue light
will ash to indicate the unit is recording. To stop,
press the record button again and the blue light
will stop ashing to indicate the unit is powered
on.
Motion detection recording
Once powered on, press the motion record
button on the remote. The blue light will ash
then turn solid blue. The unit is now in motion
detection mode. Every time it detects motion the
blue light will ash for the duration it is recording,
then go back to solid blue.

Getting Started
Taking a photo
Once powered on, press the photo button. The
blue light will ash to indicate it has taken a photo.
Powering o
Press the power button on the remote, the blue
light will ash then go out. The device is now o.
Setting date & time for video timestamp
Connect the SPYIR226 to your computer. Open the
device so you can see the contents of the SD card.
Right click, select ‘New’ then ‘Text Document’ and
name the le time. The date and time is stored in
the following format:
YYYY.MM.DD HH:MM:SS
Edit the le to the current date and time, for
example. At 3PM on the 14th October 2013 the le
would read:
2013.10.14 15:00:00
Once you have set it to the current date and time,
save the le. Now disconnect the device and power
it on. The date and time will be updated to the
information in the le.
