This system is designed with a sleep mode on the RF Remote to give increased battery life, After 5

remote press the POWER button on the remote for 2-3 seconds before attempting any other functions

This system includes a dipole antenna inside the housing of the unit. For increased FM reception an
external antenna may be used. This will require removing the 10 screws on the front of the unit and
removing it from the fiberglass housing, unplug the antenna cable and plug in your new external
antenna cable after running it into the fiberglass housing
If connected directly to battery power and you are not using a toggle switch to power on/off the unit you
must be sure to always turn the main power off on the main housing when not in use, this will insure
there is no power drain on the vehicles battery system
The first time after the unit is powered on or after long periods of no use you will need to power the unit up
by pressing the POWER button inside the dock. Then, press and hold the POWER button on the remote
for 2-3 seconds or until remote turns on. You can now select source if iPod isn't displayed or press
Play/pause to play the iPod if not already playing.
