Le siège auto STABILO MULTISEAT appartient à la
catégorie siège auto « universel ». Il est certifié et
homologué UNECE répondant aux normes
européennes (conformément à la réglementation
44, amendement n°4 ). Il est conçu pour être
installé dans la majorité des véhicules. Néanmoins
son installation est possible uniquement si le
fabricant du véhicule a mentionné dans son
manuel d’utilisation que le véhicule peut recevoir
le dispositif de catégorie « universel » pour le
groupe d’âge III. Ce dispositif de maintien pour
enfants est homologué dans la catégorie
« universel » avec des contraintes plus strictes
comparées aux homologations antérieures ou à
d’autres dispositifs qui ne comportent pas cette
mention. En cas de doute il faut consulter le
fabricant ou le revendeur du dispositif.

CAR SAFETY SEAT DESIGNED FOR CHILDREN
IN THE AGE GROUP III, 22-36 KG
The holding device for children belongs to the
category “universal”. It obtained UNECE type
approval certificate (according to regulations n.
44, series of amendments 04) for general use in
vehicles and is suitable for installation on the
majority of car seats. The proper installation is
possible if the manufacturer of a vehicle declared
in a car instruction manual that the vehicle is
suitable for installation of the holding device for
children (category “universal” for this age group).
This holding device for children was classified into
the category “universal” in more severe conditions
when compared to conditions applied to the
previous projects, which are not affixed with this
information. In case of doubt one should consult
with the manufacturer or retail seller of the device.

ATTENTION
Afin d’utiliser le siège auto en toute sécurité, vous
devez conserver et vous referrez à la notice de
montage avant de l’utiliser. Conserver la notice
dans sa pochette spécifique située sous le siège.
UTILISATION DANS LE VEHICULE
Le siège auto STABILO MULTISEAT est homologué
pour être installé avec une ceinture de sécurité à 3
points, soit sur un siège avant, soit sur un siège
arrière, mais exclusivement « face à la route ».
WARNING
In order to properly secure a child one should
definitely keep to the indications referring to
mounting and using of the device, which are
contained in this manual. Please keep this manual
using special foil placket under the seat.
USE IN A VEHICLE
Car safety seat STABILO MULTISEAT is approved to
be mounted with 3-points seat belt, either on a
front or on a back car seat, but exclusively
forward-facing.
DANGER
En aucun cas, il est homologué pour protéger un
enfant avec une ceinture de sécurité 2 points. En
cas d'accident, l’enfant peut subir des blessures
graves, voire mortelles.
Le siège auto peut être utilisé uniquement dans
les véhicules équipés à l’origine de ceintures de
sécurité à 3 points avec enrouleur conforme à la
norme ONZ / EKG n ° 16 ou à une autre norme
équivalente.
DANGER
Under no circumstances it is allowed to protect a
child with 2-points seat belt. In case of accident a
child may suffer from serious, even fatal injuries.
The safety car seat may be used solely in vehicles
with originally installed, 3-points seat belt
equipped with a retractor in conformity with the
norm ONZ/EKG no 16, or other equivalent norm.

Le siège auto est composé de trois coussins
modelables à dépression STABILO (1,2, 3) montés
sur le châssis en métal du siège. L’ensemble des
coussins s’adaptent précisément à la forme du
corps de l’enfant. Une pompe à vide spéciale
permet d'obtenir une forme appropriée. La pompe
fait partie intégrante du siège auto STABILO.
AJUSTEMENT DE LA HAUTEUR DE L’APPUI-TÊTE
L’appui-tête doit être ajusté de manière précise. La
largeur entre les bras de l’enfant et l’appui-tête doit
être de 4 cm (approximativement deux doigts). La
hauteur de la position se règle grâce aux vis
d’ajustement (9) située sur la partie arrière du siège
auto. Dévisser les 4 vis avec une clé spéciale fournie
avec le siège auto –tourner dans le sens inverse des
aiguilles d’une montre. Ajuster l’appui-tête à la hauteur
désirée. Ensuite, visser les vis dans le sens des aiguilles
d’une montre. Utiliser uniquement la clé fournie avec
le siège pour le vissage des vis (10).

The safety car seat is composed of the three
STABILO (1, 2,3) system cushions mounted on the
load-bearing metal frame. Each of the cushions
enables to precisely adjust to a child body shape.
A special vacuum pump serves to obtain a proper
shape. The pump is an integral part of the safety
car seat.
HEADREST HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT
The headrest should be adjusted in such a way to
leave ap. 4 cm wide room between a child’s arms
and the headrest (approximately two fingers
wide).The height of the headrest’s position is
regulated with regulating bolts (9) in the back part
of the safety car seat. We unscrew 4 bolts with a
special wrench which goes with the safety car seat
–one anticlockwise turn. We adjust a demanded
headrest’s height. Then we screw the regulating
bolts in clockwise. Use only the attached wrench
for screwing the bolts (10).

INFORMATIONS IMPORTANTE CONCERNANT
VOTRE SECURITE
-Ne pas laisser l’enfant sans surveillance
-Les bagages et autres objets lourds ou
tranchants doivent être correctement fixés
dans le véhicule
-Le siège auto doit être toujours fixé avec la
ceinture de sécurité même si l’enfant n’est pas
dans le siège auto
-Il est obligatoire de vérifier régulièrement le
siège auto en accordant une attention
particulière à son état
-Si vous n’êtes pas sûr ne pas l’utiliser
-Protéger le siège auto des rayons du soleil
-Rappelez-vous que les jours de fortes chaleurs
le siège auto peut chauffer. Afin de protéger
votre enfant d’éventuelles brûlures il est
recommandé de couvrir le siège auto. Toujours
vérifier la température du rembourrage du
siège avant avant d’installer votre enfant
-Le châssis du siège et ses élements rigides
doivent être installés et placés de manière à ne
pas bloquer la porte coulissante de la voiture
dans des conditions normales d’utilisation.
-ATTENTION il est interdit de modifier le siège
auto ou de réaliser ses propres réparations.
-ATTENTION le siège auto ne peut pas être
utilisé sans le rembourrage complet (composé
de 3 coussins avec le système STABILO). Les
coussins STABILO sont spécialement conçus
pour le siège auto STABILO MULTISEAT et ne
peuvent pas être remplacés par d'autres
équipements.
-ATTENTION il est interdit d’utiliser le siège auto
s’il a subi un accident même si celui-ci n’a pas
de dommages visibles
IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING
SAFETY
-do not leave a child unattended
-the luggage and other heavy or sharp objects
should be properly secured in a car
-the safety car seat should be always mounted
with security seat belts, even if we don’t carry
a child in a car
-it is obligatory to regularly check the safety car
seat paying special attention to its technical
condition
-if you not sure do not use
-protect the safety car seat from intensive
sunrays
-remember that on hot days the safety car seat
may be strongly heated up. In order to protect
your child from burns the safety car seat can be
covered, and before seating a child a car may
be cooled down and the temperature of the car
safety seat’s padding checked
-hard elements and stiff safety car seat’s parts
should be placed and installed in such a way
that they are not exposed to blockage by sliding
door or seats of a vehicle in typical exploitation
conditions
-WARNING it is forbidden to introduce any
alterations in the construction of the safety car
seat and to make any own repairs
-ATTENTION The safety car seat can not be used
without the complete padding (STABILO system
cushions). The cushions are specially designed
for the safety car seat and can not be replaced
by other equipment
-WARNING It is not allowed to use the safety car
seat when an accident occurred, even if there
are no visible signs of a damage

INSTALLER L’ENFANT DANS LE SIEGE AUTO
L’enfant est sécurisé avec le siège auto grâce à la
ceinture de sécurité 3 points. Placer le siège auto
au maximum dans le fond du siège de la voiture.
Asseyez l’enfant dans le siège auto. Fixer la
ceinture de sécurité 3 points selon les règles
suivantes :
A. Tirer la ceinture de sécurité et diriger là vers
l’enfant jusqu’à la boucle de la ceinture de
sécurité. Boucler la ceinture de sécurité. Vous
devez entendre un « clic » caractéristique.
Placer la ceinture de sécurité sur le repère
indiqué par des rayures rouges sur le siège au
niveau des hanches de l’enfant.
DANGER Assurez-vous que la partie
transversale de la ceinture de sécurité au
niveau des hanches soit située le plus bas
possible et qu’elle soit serrée correctement.
B. Placer la partie supérieure de la ceinture de
sécurité sur le buste de l’enfant. Insérer la
partie supérieure de la ceinture en diagonale
dans le passant prévu à cet effet au niveau de
l’appui-tête.
C. ATTENTION La boucle de la ceinture de
sécurité ne doit pas se retrouver entre l’assise
et le dossier du siège auto. Vérifier que la
boucle de la ceinture est bien verouillée.
CHILD FASTENING IN THE SAFETY CAR SEAT
The safety car seat is mounted and secured
together with a child by the 3-points security seat
belt. Place the safety car seat on the car seat,
trying to maximally press it to the car seat’s
backrest. Seat a child in the safety car seat. Fasten
the 3-points security seat belt according to
undermentioned rules:
A. Pull the security seat belt out and lead it in front
of a child to the lock of the security seat belt.
Stick the buckle to the lock of the security seat
belt. You should hear a characteristic click.
Place the crosswise part of the security seat belt
over a child’s hips in such a way that the belt
goes through the places indicated by the red
stripes on the safety car seat.
DANGER Make sure that the crosswise part (hip
part) of the security seat belt runs as low as
possible and is tight.
B. Put the upper part of the security seat belt
diagonally over a trunk of a child. Insert the
diagonal security belt into the special lug of the
headrest of the safety car seat. Pull the diagonal
belt diagonally up.
C. ATTENTION The lock of the security seat belt
can not go between the seat part and the
backrest part of the safety car seat.

DANGER vérifier si la ceinture de sécurité est serrée
et s’adapte au corps de l’enfant. Une ceinture de
sécurité mal positionnée ne fournit pas une
protection optimale. Vérifier que la ceinture de
sécurité n’est pas vrillée ou coincée. Vérifier que la
boucle de la ceinture est bien vérouillée.
Si vous avez besoin de détacher l’enfant
rapidement, appuyer sur le bouton pour
déverouiller la ceinture, retirez-la et sorter l’enfant.
DANGER Check if a seat belt is tight, and fits to a
child's body. A loose security seat belt does not
provide a proper protection. Check if a seat belt is
not twisted or jammed. Additionally, check if the
buckle of the belt is stick.
If you need unfasten a child quickly, please press
the button which opens the lock of the security
seat belt and then pull it back, releasing a child.

SYSTEME DE COUSSINS MODELABLES A
DEPRESSION
La structure et le fonctionnement des coussins
STABILO permettent de l'ajuster à la forme du
corps et de bien positionner les éléments du siège
auto. Chaque élément du siège auto –l’appui-tête,
le dossier et l’assise – peuvent être modelés
individuellement. Pour assurer un confort
maximum à l’enfant les coussins ne doivent pas
être trop durcis.
1. Sortir le tuyau (raccord) situé dans la poignée
de la pompe manuelle.
2. Visser le raccord sur la valve du coussin et
attendre que le coussin soit suffisamment
souple (en se remplissant d'air).
3. Asseoir l’enfant et ajuster les coussins au corps
de l’enfant.
4. Visser le raccord sur la pompe et aspirer l'air
jusqu'à l’obtention de la fermeté voulue du
coussin.
5. Dévisser le raccord du coussin et visser le
capuchon de protection sur la valve.
6. Pour modifier la forme du coussin, visser le
raccord de pompe sur le coussin et attendre
que le coussin se ramollisse et répéter de
l’étape 2à l’étape 5.
VACUUM MODELLING STABILO CUSHIONS
The construction and functioning of the STABILO
cushions enables to adjust it to body’s shape and
position the padding of the safety car seat. Each
element of the padding - the seat, the backrest,
the headrest - can be modelled individually. On
account on a child’s comfort the cushions should
not be hardened too much.
1. Pull out the tube screwed in the pump’s handle.
2. Screw the tube in the cushion’s valve and wait
until the cushion is sufficiently soft.
3. Seat a child and adjust the cushion’s shape to a
body shape of a child.
4. Screw the pump in the tube and deflate the air
until the desired hardness obtained.
5. Screw off the tube of the pump and screw the
protecting cap in the valve.
6. To change the shape just screw in the tube only
to the valve, wait until the cushion softens,
then repeat points 2-5.
ENTRETIEN ET NETTOYAGE
-Les coussins STABILO sont amovibles et
peuvent être retirés grâce aux bandes velcro
situées sur le cadre en métal du siège.
-Vous pouvez nettoyer les coussins Stabilo à
l’eau claire avec un produit ménager simple tel
que du liquide vaisselle.
-Après le rinçage, laisser sécher ou utiliser une
serviette en papier pour égoutter le coussin
-Les coussins STABILO, sont résistants à l’eau et
ils peuvent être immergés dans l’eau.
MAINTENANCE STABILO CUSHIONS
-STABILO cushions can be dismantled by gentle
detachment from the Velcro strips, which are
glued on the metal frame of the seat
-it is allowed to clean it under running water
with the simplest liquids such as dishwashing
liquid
-after rinsing let it to dry or use a paper towel to
drain a water
-STABILO cushions are water resistant it is
allowed to submerge it in water
