FITTING INSTRUCTIONS
•To fit the R&G tail tidy, first remove the pillion seat using the key as shown in
picture 1.
•Slide the rider’s seat catch as shown in picture 2 and remove the rider seat.
•Remove the four bolts arrowed in picture 3.
•Remove the five bolts arrowed in pictures 4 and 5,then remove the side
panel/cover as shown in picture 6.
•Repeat the above for the opposite side.
•Remove the four bolts arrowed in picture 7, then carefully unclip and remove the
rear seat cowl as shown in picture 8.
•Disconnect the three wiring plug sockets for the licence plate illuminator and
indicators arrowed in picture above.
•Carefully lower the original licence plate bracket while feeding the wiring through
the hole in the under-tray as shown in picture 9 and remove.

If reusing the original indicators
•Remove the reflector bracket nut arrowed in picture 10.
•Remove the two screws arrowed in pictures 11 and 12, this will allow the
bracket to be split apart as shown in picture 13.
•Remove the screw arrowed in picture 14.
•Remove the indicator clamp bracket as shown in picture 15.
•Remove the indicator spreader plate as shown in picture 16.
•Gently squeeze the indicator stem and remove the indicator.
•Repeat the above steps to remove the opposite indicator.
•Fit the indicators into the new licence plate bracket (item 1) and secure as shown
in pictures 17, 18, 19 and 20.
If using the mini indicators
•To fit the R&G Mini Indicators (R&G mini indicator product code RG370 for
bulb type and RG371 for LED type or RG372 for Aero Style led type).
•Position two indicator adaptors (item 9 –I0039) onto the wiring of each
indicator, ensuring the sides facing each other have the raised centre profile,
before fitting the flanged nut supplied, as shown below and pictures 21 and
22.
•Feed the indicator wiring through one of the nut/wire covers (item 6) as
shown in pictures below (it helps if a small amount of liquid detergent is
used) and position the nut cover over the nut (repeat the above for the
opposite indicator).
•Fit one length of heat-shrink (item 14) over the wires of each indicator so the
heat-shrink fits over the stem of the nut/wire cover and gently heat until the
heat-shrink contracts to the wiring and nut/wire cover as shown in pictures
below.
•Feed the wires of the new R&G licence plate illuminator (item 10) through the
central hole in the new licence plate bracket (item 1) as shown in pictures 23
and 24.
•Secure using the washers and nut supplied as shown in picture 24.
•Fit one length of heat-shrink (item 14) to the wires and heat gently to shrink to
fit.
•Fit the light shroud and use a small amount of adhesive to hold it in position as
shown in picture 23.

•Please ensure the wiring and wiring covers are neat and tidy using the supplied
clips and cable ties (items 12 and 13).
•Feed all the wires through the central square hole in the licence plate bracket and
use one of the cable-ties through the two small holes to secure the cables in place
•Fit the four button head bolts with washers (items 3 and 5) through the four
holes in the new licence plate bracket as shown in picture 25.
•Fit the four threaded spacers (item 4) onto the exposed thread and tighten as
shown in picture 26.
•Offer the new licence plate bracket into position on the under-tray while feeding
the wiring through the slot in the under-tray as shown in picture 27 and secure
using the four nuts with washers (items 2 and 5) as shown in picture 28,
please ensure the wires are not crushed.
•Route the wiring as original and reconnect the licence plate illuminator using the
supplied connector (item 7) to the original plug socket.
•If using R&G mini indicators reconnect using the two supplied connectors (item
8) to the original plug socket. It is a good idea the check the licence plate
illuminator and indicators at this stage if illumination fails please swap the bullet
connections around.
•Refit and secure the rear seat cowl and side panels/covers as original.
•Refit the rider and pillion seats as original and licence plate (it may require
drilling).
•IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON THE
LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE HITTING THE
BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE ROAD. IT IS YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE AVOIDING ACTION.
FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
•Depending on local laws, attach enclosed reflector (item 11) in an appropriate
location.
•Test the license plate illuminator and all lights before riding.

The catalogue description and any exhibition of samples are only broad indications of the Products and R&G may make design
changes which do not diminish their performance or visual appeal and supplying them in such state shall conform to the order.
The Buyer acknowledges no representation or warranty (other than as to title) has been given or will apply to the Products
other than those in R&G’s order or confirmation and the Buyer confirms it has chosen the Products as being of merchantable
quality and suitable for its particular purposes. Where R&G fits the Products or undertakes other services it shall exercise
reasonable skill and care and rectify any fault free of charge unless the workmanship has been disturbed. The Buyer is
responsible for ensuring that the warranty on the motorcycle is not affected by the fitting of the Products. On return of any
defective Products R&G shall at its option either supply a replacement or refund the purchase money but shall not be liable if
the Products have been modified or used or maintained otherwise than in accordance with R&G’s or manufacturer’s instructions
and good engineering practice or if the defect arises from accident or neglect. Other than identified above and subject to R&G
not limiting its liability for causing death and personal injury, it shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss and
otherwise its liability shall be limited to the amounts paid by the Buyer for the Products or the fitting or service concerned.
These terms do not affect the Buyer’s statutory rights.
R&G RETURNS POLICY (NON-FAULTY GOODS)
Returns must be pre-authorised (if not pre-authorised the return will be rejected). Goods may only be returned direct to us if
they were purchased direct from us (customer must prove if necessary). Otherwise to be returned to original vendor. Goods
must be in re-sellable condition, in the opinion of R&G. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking and handling fee (25% of
the gross value exc. P&P –at the prevailing price at time of purchase). The customer must pay any and all carriage charges.
No returns of discontinued products, unless within 14 days of purchase. This policy does not affect your statutory rights and
does not refer to faulty goods.

Schéma d’assemblage
NOTICE DE MONTAGE
•Pour installer le support R&G, retirez d'abord le siège passager à l'aide de la clé
comme indiqué sur la photo 1.
•Faites glisser le loquet du siège du pilote comme indiqué sur la photo 2 et retirez
le siège du pilote.
•Retirez les quatre boulons fléchés sur la photo 3.
•Retirez les cinq boulons fléchés sur les photos 4 et 5, puis retirez le panneau
latéral / couvercle comme indiqué sur la photo 6.
•Répétez ce qui précède pour le côté opposé.
•Retirez les quatre boulons fléchés sur la photo 7, puis desserrez délicatement et
retirez le capot de siège arrière comme indiqué sur la photo 8.
•Débranchez les trois prises de câblage du feu de plaque d'immatriculation et des
clignotants indiqués sur la photo ci-dessus.
•Abaissez soigneusement le support de plaque d'immatriculation d'origine tout en
faisant passer le câblage à travers le trou du sous-plateau, comme illustré sur la
photo 9, puis retirez-le.

Si vous réutilisez les clignotants d'origine
•Retirez l'écrou du support de réflecteur fléché sur la photo 10.
•Retirez les deux vis fléchées sur les photos 11 et 12, cela permettra de séparer le
support comme indiqué sur la photo 13.
•Retirez la vis fléchée sur la photo 14.
•Retirez le support de serrage de clignotant comme indiqué sur la photo 15.
•Retirez la plaque d'écartement des clignotants comme indiqué sur la photo 16.
•Serrez doucement la tige de clignotant et retirez le clignotant.
•Répétez les étapes ci-dessus pour supprimer l’autre clignotant du côté opposé.
•Montez les clignotants sur le nouveau support de plaque d'immatriculation (article
1) et fixez comme indiqué sur les photos 17, 18, 19 et 20.
Si vous utilisez les mini clignotants
•Pour installer les mini-clignotants R&G (mini-clignotant R&G code produit
RG370 pour le type ampoule et RG371 pour le type LED ou RG372 pour le
type à LED Style latérale).
•Positionnez deux adaptateurs de clignotant (article 9 –I0039) sur le câblage
de chaque clignotant, en vous assurant que les côtés se faisant face ont le
profil central surélevé, avant de monter l'écrou à collerette fourni, comme
illustré ci-dessous et sur les photos 21 et 22.
•Faites passer le câblage de clignotant à travers l'un des cache-écrou / fils
(article 6) comme indiqué sur les photos ci-dessous (cela aide si une petite
quantité de détergent liquide est utilisée) et placez le cache-écrou sur l'écrou
(répétez la procédure ci-dessus pour l’autre clignotant).
•Placer une longueur de manchon thermorétractable (article 14) sur les fils de
chaque clignotant afin que la thermorétractable s'adapte sur la tige du cache-
écrou / fil puis chauffer doucement jusqu'à ce que la thermorétractable se
contracte sur le câblage et l'écrou / cache-fil comme montré sur les
photos ci-dessous.
•Faites passer les fils du nouveau feu de plaque d'immatriculation R&G (article 10)
à travers le trou central du nouveau support de plaque d'immatriculation (article
1) comme indiqué sur les photos 23 et 24.
•Fixez à l'aide des rondelles et de l'écrou fournis comme indiqué sur la photo 24.
•Monter une longueur de thermorétractable (article 14) sur les fils et chauffer
doucement pour rétrécir et envelopper les fils.

•Montez la protection feu et utilisez une petite quantité d'adhésif pour le maintenir
en position, comme illustré sur la photo 23.
•Veuillez-vous assurer que le câblage et les couvercles de câblage soient propres
et bien rangés à l'aide des clips et des attaches de câble fournis (articles 12 et
13).
•Faites passer tous les fils par le trou carré central du support de plaque
d'immatriculation et utilisez l'un des serre-câbles à travers les deux petits trous
pour fixer les câbles en place.
•Insérez les quatre boulons à tête ronde avec rondelles (articles 3 et 5) dans les
quatre trous du nouveau support de plaque d'immatriculation, comme indiqué sur
la photo 25.
•Montez les quatre entretoises filetées (article 4) sur le filetage exposé et serrez
comme indiqué sur la photo 26.
•Présentez le nouveau support de plaque d'immatriculation en position sur le sous-
plateau tout en faisant passer le câblage à travers la fente du sous-plateau
comme indiqué sur la photo 27 et fixez-le à l'aide des quatre écrous avec
rondelles (articles 2 et 5) comme indiqué sur la photo 28, veuillez-vous assurer
que les fils ne soient pas écrasés.
•Acheminez le câblage d'origine et rebranchez le feu de plaque d'immatriculation à
l'aide du connecteur fourni (article 7) sur la prise d'origine.
•Si vous utilisez des mini-clignotants R&G, reconnectez à l'aide des deux
connecteurs fournis (article 8) à la prise d'origine. Il est judicieux de vérifier le
fonctionnement du feu la plaque d'immatriculation et les clignotants à ce stade. Si
l'éclairage ne fonctionne pas, veuillez permuter les connecteurs.
•Remontez et fixez le capot de siège arrière et les panneaux / couvercles latéraux
comme à l’origine.
•Remontez les sièges conducteur et passager comme à l'origine ainsi que la plaque
d'immatriculation (cela peut nécessiter un perçage).
•IMPORTANT : SI VOUS POSEZ UNE PLAQUE D'IMMATRICULATION DE GRANDE
TAILLE PLEINE ET QUE VOUS LA POSEZ VERS LE BAS DU SUPPORT DE PLAQUE
D'IMMATRICULATION, IL EXISTE UN RISQUE QUE LA PLAQUE
D'IMMATRICULATION TOUCHE LA ROUE ARRIÈRE SOUS L’EFFET D’UNE CHARGE
LOURDE ET SUR DES RALENTISSEURS ABRUPTES SUR LA ROUTE. IL EST DE
VOTRE RESPONSABILITÉ DE VÉRIFIER CE RISQUE ET DE PRENDRE DES
MESURES NÉCESSAIRES POUR L’ÉVITER. LA NON-VÉRIFICATION DE CE POINT
POURRAIT ENTRAÎNER DES BLESSURES GRAVES.
•En fonction des lois locales, fixez le réflecteur fourni (article 11) à un endroit
approprié.
•Testez le feu de plaque d'immatriculation et tous les feux avant de rouler.

MONTAGEANLEITUNG
•Um den R&G Kennzeichenhalter montieren zu können, entfernen Sie zuerst den
Soziussitz mit dem Schlüssel (siehe Abbildung 1).
•Die Verriegelung für den Fahrersitz schieben wie in Abbildung 2 abgebildet und
den Fahrersitz entfernen.
•Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, die in Abbildung 3 gekennzeichnet sind.
•Entfernen Sie die fünf Schrauben, die in den Abbildungen 4 und 5
gekennzeichnet sind, dann entfernen Sie die Seitenverkleidung wie in Abbildung
6 abgebildet.
•Wiederholen Sie diese Schritte an der anderen Seite des Motorrades.
•Entfernen Sie die vier Schrauben, die in Abbildung 7 gekennzeichnet sind, dann
die Heckverkleidung vorsichtig lösen und entfernen wie in Abbildung 8
abgebildet.
•Trennen Sie die drei Steckverbindungen für die Kennzeichenbeleuchtung und die
Blinker, die in der Abbildung oben markiert sind.

•Den original Kennzeichenhalter vorsichtig herabsetzen während Sie die Kabel
durch die Öffnungen in der unteren Abdeckung führen wie in Abbildung 9
abgebildet und entfernen.
Wenn Sie die Originalblinker wiederverwenden
•Entfernen Sie die Mutter für die Halterung des Rückstrahlers, die in Abbildung
10 gekennzeichnet ist.
•Entfernen Sie die zwei Schrauben, die in den Abbildungen 11 und 12
gekennzeichnet sind, um den Halter in zwei Teilen zu trennen wie in Abbildung
13 abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie die Schraube, die in Abbildung 14 gekennzeichnet ist.
•Entfernen Sie die Klemmhalterung für den Blinker wie in Abbildung 15
abgebildet.
•Entfernen Sie die Distanzplatte für den Blinker wie in Abbildung 16 abgebildet.
•Den Stiel des Blinkers vorsichtig zusammendrücken und den Blinker entfernen.
•Wiederholen Sie die oben beschriebenen Schritte, um den zweiten Blinker zu
entfernen.
•Montieren Sie die Blinker am neuen Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1) und befestigen
Sie sie wie in den Abbildungen 17, 18, 19 und 20 abgebildet.
Wenn Sie Miniblinker montieren
•Die R&G Miniblinker (R&G Artikel-Nr. RG370 = mit Glühbirne, RG371= LED oder
RG372 = Aero LED) montieren Sie wie folgt:
•Positionieren Sie die zwei Adapter für die Blinker (Artikel 9 –I0039) an den
jeweiligen Kabeln der zwei Blinker. Achten Sie darauf, dass die
gegenüberliegenden Oberflächen eine erhöhte Profilmitte haben, bevor Sie die
Flanschmutter vom Kit montieren wie unten und in den Abbildungen 21 und 22
abgebildet:
•Führen Sie die Verkabelung der Blinker durch die Mutter/Kabelabdeckung
(Artikel 6) wie in den Abbildungen unten abgebildet (eine kleine Menge
Spülmittel kann hierbei helfen) und positionieren Sie die Abdeckung über der
Mutter (diesen Schritt am zweiten Blinker wiederholen).
•Montieren Sie jeweils eine Länge Schrumpfschlauch (Artikel 14) an den Kabeln
der zwei Blinker, so dass der Schrumpfschlauch über den Stiel der Mutter/Kabel-
Abdeckung passt und vorsichtig erwärmen, bis der Schrumpfschlauch schrumpft
wie in den Abbildungen unten abgebildet.
•Führen Sie die Kabel der neuen R&G Kennzeichenbeleuchtung (Artikel 10) durch
die mittlere Öffnung im neuen Kennzeichenhalter (Artikel 1) wie in den
Abbildungen 23 und 24 abgebildet.

•Mit den Unterlegscheiben und Mutter vom Kit befestigen wie in Abbildung 24
abgebildet.
•Eine Länge Schrumpfschlauch (Artikel 14) an den Kabeln anbringen und
vorsichtig passend erwärmen / schrumpfen.
•Die Abdeckung mit etwas Sekundenkleben in Position befestigen wie in
Abbildung 23 abgebildet.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass die Kabel und Kabelabdeckungen mit den mitgelieferten
Clips und Kabelbinder (Artikel 12 und 13) ordentlich gesichert / verstaut sind.
•Schieben Sie alle Kabel durch die mittlere, quadratische Öffnung im
Kennzeichenhalter und führen Sie einen Kabelbinder durch die zwei kleinen
Öffnungen, um die Kabel in Position zu befestigen.
•Montieren Sie die vier Inbusschrauben mit Unterlegscheiben (Artikel 3 und 5) in
den vier Öffnungen am neuen Kennzeichenhalter wie in Abbildung 25
abgebildet.
•Die vier Distanzhalter mit Gewinde (Artikel 4) am hervorstehenden Gewinde
anbringen und befestigen wie in Abbildung 26 abgebildet.
•Den neuen Kennzeichenhalter in Position bringen an der unteren Verkleidung und
die Kabel in den Schlitz an der unteren Verkleidung einführen wie in Abbildung
27 abgebildet. Sichern Sie die vier Muttern mit Unterlegscheiben (Artikel 2 und
5) wie in Abbildung 28 abgebildet. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Kabel nicht
eingeklemmt sind.
•Verlegen Sie die Kabel wie ursprünglich wieder und verbinden Sie die
Kennzeichenbeleuchtung mittels der Verbindung vom Kit (Artikel 7) mit dem
original Steckverbinder.
•Wenn Sie die R&G Miniblinker verwenden, verbinden Sie diese wieder mit dem
original Steckverbinder mittels der zwei mitgelieferten Verbindungen (Artikel 8).
Es empfiehlt sich nun, die Funktion der Kennzeichenbeleuchtung und Blinker zu
prüfen. Falls diese nicht funktionieren sollte, einfach die Verbindungen
untereinander tauschen.
•Montieren Sie die Heckverkleidung und die Seitenverkleidungen wie ursprünglich
wieder.
•Montieren Sie beide Sitze wie ursprünglich wieder und das amtliche Kennzeichen
(Bohrungen im Kennzeichen evtl. notwendig).
•WICHTIG: WENN EIN GROSSES KENNZEICHEN ZU WEIT NACH UNTEN MONTIERT WIRD,
BESTEHT BEI SCHWERER LAST ODER DURCH GROSSE BODENWELLEN EIN GERINGES
RISIKO, DASS DAS KENNZEICHEN AN DAS HINTERRAD STOSSEN KANN. ES LIEGT IN IHRER
VERANTWORTUNG DIES ZU ÜBERPRÜFEN UND, WENN NOTWENDIG, ZU VORBEUGENDE
MASSNAHMEN ZU ERGREIFEN. DIE NICHTBEACHTUNG DIESES SICHERHEITSHINWEIS KANN
ZU SCHWEREN VERLETZUNGEN FÜHREN.
•Entsprechend der gesetzlichen Vorschriften, den mitgelieferten Rückstrahler
(Artikel 11) an die dafür vorgesehene Stelle anbringen.
•Überprüfen Sie die Funktion der kompletten Beleuchtung nochmal vor Gebrauch
des Fahrzeuges.
