GETTING STARTED INSTALLING THE BATTERY
When you rst receive your safe you will need to
open the door with the key in order to install. A
baery is included and is located in the top of
the Styrofoam packaging.
To open the safe, insert key into lock and turn
counter clockwise until the holster
compartment automatically opens.
To access the baery compartment you will
need to open the holster compartment
completely.
At the very back of the compartment you will
see two L shaped brackets. Rotate the L
brackets towards the top of the safe, so they are
released from the guides en squeeze the two
brackets together so they almost meet - this will
immediately release the compartment from the
sides of the safe body as shown in gure 1. Let
the holster compartment open all the way.
Rotate the L brackets back so they are at
against the back of the holster compartment as
shown in gure 2.
NOTE: Leave the key in the lock while you
install the baeries.
is safe uses 4 AAA alkaline baeries. Under
normal use the baeries will last about a year.
NOTE: If the baeries are low the indicator light
will ash blue when you start scanning. Replace
with 4 new AAA alkaline baeries as shown.
Locate the baery compartment at the very
back of the top of the safe, slide o the baery
cover.

NOTE: is key has also be provided in case
the baeries run low. If you lose your key,
you may purchase a replacement key by
referencing the serial number located on the
front of the door. See section regarding
replacement keys for further information.

CLOSING THE SAFE
Li up the up the holster compartment until
the L shaped brackets clear the inside of the
frame. Rotate the L bracket back so they point
to the top of the safe and then push them out
towards the safe body which will hold the
holster compartment up. en rotate the L
brackets back into the guides on the back of the
holster compartment.
Close the compartment and hold it closed
until the green light goes on and the unit
beeps.
NOTE: Reset buon is only
accessible when the locking
mechanism is in the un-locked
position.
NOTE: To verify your ngerprint the
locking mechanism must be in the
locked position.
NOTE: When closing the safe with a pistol in the
holster compartment, make sure the pistol does
not interfere with the frame of the safe.

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS
When you rst receive your safe there are no
recorded ngerprints. For security you must
record a ngerprint. Failure to do so will
compromise the safety and security of the safe.
You can record up to 20 dierent ngerprints
for opening the safe.
To record a ngerprint, rst press the Reset Buon on
the inside of the safe. e scanner will turn blue with
two beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the blue
light ashes twice, you will then record the same
nger three times as follows:
1. Press the scanner with the selected nger
until there is one beep (if the sound is turned
on) and the green light ashes once. Li your
nger o the scanner.
2. Press the scanner for a second time with the
same nger (holding the nger in a slightly
dierent position) until there is one beep (if
the sound is turned on) and the green light
ashes once. Li your nger o the scanner.
3. Press the scanner for a third time with the
same nger (holding the nger in a slightly
dierent position) until there are two beeps (if
the sound is turned on) and the green light
ashes twice. Li your nger o the scanner.
If the red light ashes three times with three
beeps (if the sound is turned on) your ngerprint
did not get recorded and you will have to start
over.
Your ngerprint is now recorded.
If you try entering more than 20 ngerprints, the
red light will ash 5 times and there will be 5
beeps (if the sound is turned on).
For convenience, record several dierent ngers
and record the most used nger several times.
Position nger on scanner as shown below.

OPENING THE SAFE USING YOUR
FINGERPRINT
To open the safe, press the scanner with a recorded
nger. e blue light will come on with one beep
(if the sound is turned on) and the scan will begin.
If the green light ashes twice with 2 beeps (if the
sound is turned on), the scan has been accepted
and the door will open.
If the red light ashes once, the scanner did not
read your ngerprint and you must try again. If the
red light ashes 3 times, the scanner read your
ngerprint and did not accept it.
If there are 3 rejected scans, where your
ngerprint was read, and the red light ashes 5
times with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on),
you will have an automatic lockout for 60
seconds before you can try a scan again. e safe
will beep one time (if the sound is turned on)
and the green light will ash once when the
lockout period is over.
If there is 1 more rejected scan where your
ngerprint was read and the red light ashes 5 times
with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on), you will
have an automatic lockout for 5 minutes before you
can try a scan again. e safe will beep one time (if
the sound is turned on) and the green light will ash
once when the lockout period is over.
To close the safe, push the door closed until
locked.
TURNING THE SOUND OFF/ON
CLEARING THE MEMORY
To turn the sound o, press the scanner with a
recorded ngerprint for 10 seconds until the green
light ashes twice.
To turn the sound on, press the scanner with a
recorded ngerprint until you hear two beeps and
the green light ashes twice.
Your safe comes with the beep sound turned on.
To clear the memory of all recorded ngerprints,
locate the reset buon on the inside of the safe
and press this buon for about 5 seconds until
the green light ashes 10 times with 10 beeps (if
the sound is turned on). All recorded scans will
be erased.
NOTE: For security you must record a
ngerprint. Failure to do so will compromise
the safety and security of the safe.
Open the holster compartment as described in the
Installing the Baery section. When the holster
compartment has been released from the frame and
the L brackets have been rotated so they are at
against the back of the holster compartment, locate
2 nuts which are located in the boom of the safe
body. Remove the 2 nuts and washers using your
ngers and li the safe o the tabs in the back of the
sleeve.
ere are some securing tabs on the mounting
sleeve that guide the back of the safe into position -
you will need to make sure you have maneuvered the
safe out of these tabs.

safety and security, the safe should be installed in
an isolated, dry and secure area.
SECURING THE SAFE
SELECTING A LOCATION
NOTE: is safe must always be secured in the
mounting bracket and mounted to a wall or
solid surface. Failure to do so will compromise
the safety and security of the safe.
Secure the mounting bracket to wall studs using
the pre-drilled mounting holes in the bracket and
hardware provided.
NOTE ON LOCKING THE SAFE: e safe
needs to be in an upright position, as shown in
gure 3, for the locking mechanism to
function properly. Failure to mount the safe
in the correct upright position will
compromise the safety and security of the
safe.
NOTE: e mounting bracket must be
secured to a wall stud on one side of the
bracket in the top and boom holes so that it
is anchored to the wall stud in two locations.
Wall anchors should be used on the other side.
e bracket should be secured in 4 locations.
Use the hardware provided or consult your
hardware retailer for fastening hardware for
your particular mounting surfaces. Aer the
mounting bracket is secured you must secure
the safe to the bracket to insure the optimal
safety and security of the safe.
Place the mounting bracket in the desired
location and mark the mounting holes to be
used with a pencil. Move the mounting bracket
and drill the pilot holes for the screws. For
mounting to a wall stud, drill a 3/16” diameter
pilot hole and aach the bracket using the Lag
screws and washers.
Place the safe back into the mounting bracket
and replace the 2 thumb nuts and washers.
Secure the holster compartment in place,
following the steps in Closing e Safe section
of these instructions. Close and lock the safe

secure place separate from your safe. To order a
replacement key set, follow the instructions on the
aached form.
e biometric scanner may be cleaned with
household glass cleaner and a coon cloth.

PARA COMENZAR INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
La primera vez que reciba su caja fuerte tendrá
que abrir la puerta con la llave con el n de
instalar. Una batería está incluido y se
encuentra en la parte superior del embalaje de
espuma de poliestireno .
Para abrir la caja fuerte, inserción llave en la
cerradura y girar hacia la izquierda hasta que el
compartimiento de la funda se abre
automáticamente.
Para acceder al compartimento de la batería que
tendrá que abrir el compartimento de la funda por
completo.
En la parte trasera del compartimento verá
soportes en forma de L de dos . Gire los soportes
en L hacia la parte superior de la caja fuerte , por lo
que se liberan de las guías Luego apretar los dos
soportes juntos para que casi cumplen - esto dará a
conocer inmediatamente el compartimiento de los
lados del cuerpo de seguridad como se muestra en
la gura 1. Deje que el compartimiento de la funda
abierto todo el camino. Girar los soportes en L
hacia atrás por lo que son plana contra la parte
posterior del compartimiento de la funda como se
muestra en la gura 2 .
NOTA : Deje la llave en la cerradura mientras
instala las baterías.
Este seguro utiliza 4 baterías alcalinas AAA .
En condiciones de uso normal, las pilas
duran alrededor de un año .
NOTA : Si las baterías están bajas la luz
indicadora parpadee en azul cuando se inicia
el escaneado. Reemplace con 4 nuevas
baterías alcalinas AAA como se muestra .
Localice el compartimento de la batería en la
parte posterior de la parte superior de la caja
fuerte , deslice la tapa de la batería.

GRABACIÓN DE HUELLAS
DIGITALES
La primera vez que reciba su caja fuerte no hay
huellas digitales registradas. Para mayor
seguridad se debe registrar una huella digital .
De no hacerlo, pondrá en peligro la seguridad
y la seguridad de la caja fuerte.
Puede grabar hasta 20 huellas digitales
diferentes para la apertura de la caja fuerte.
Para registrar una huella digital, primero pulse el
botón de reinicio en el interior de la caja fuerte. El
escáner se vuelve azul con dos pitidos ( si el sonido
está activado ) y la luz azul parpadea dos veces, a
continuación, grabar el mismo dedo tres veces de la
siguiente manera :
1. Pulse el escáner con el dedo seleccionado
hasta que haya un pitido ( si el sonido está
activado ) y la luz verde parpadea una vez .
Levante el dedo del escáner.
2. Pulse el escáner por segunda vez con el
mismo dedo ( sosteniendo el dedo en una
posición ligeramente diferente) hasta que haya
un pitido ( si el sonido está activado ) y la luz
verde parpadea una vez . Levante el dedo del
escáner.
3. Pulse el escáner por tercera vez con el mismo
dedo ( sosteniendo el dedo en una posición
ligeramente diferente ) hasta que hay dos
pitidos ( si el sonido está activado ) y la luz
verde parpadea dos veces . Levante el dedo del
escáner.
Si la luz roja parpadea tres veces con tres pitidos
(si el sonido está activado) su huella digital no
consiguió registrada y usted tendrá que empezar
de nuevo.
Su huella digital se registra ahora .
Si intenta introducir más de 20 huellas digitales ,
la luz roja parpadea 5 veces y habrá 5 pitidos (si el
sonido está activado) .
Para mayor comodidad , grabar varios dedos
diferentes y registrar el dedo más utilizado en
varias ocasiones. Posición dedo sobre el escáner
como se muestra a continuación.

CIERRE DE LA CAJA FUERTE
Levante la funda hasta el compartimento hasta
que los soportes en forma de L despejar el
interior del marco . Gire el soporte L atrás, de
modo que apuntan a la parte superior de la caja
fuerte y luego empujarlos hacia el cuerpo de la
caja fuerte que celebrará la funda
compartimiento de arriba . A continuación, gire
los soportes L de nuevo en las guías de la parte
posterior del compartimiento funda.

dedo registrado . La luz azul se encenderá con un
pitido ( si el sonido está activado ) y la exploración
comenzará.
Si la luz verde parpadea ( si el sonido está activado
) , el análisis se ha aceptado dos veces con 2 pitidos
y la puerta se abrirá.
Si la luz roja parpadea una vez, el escáner no leyó
su huella digital y tienes que probar de nuevo. Si la
luz roja parpadea 3 veces, el escáner lee su huella
digital y no lo aceptó.
Si hay 3 exploraciones rechazadas , en la que se
leía su huella digital , y la luz roja parpadea 5
veces con 5 pitidos ( si el sonido está activado ) ,
tendrá un bloqueo automático durante 60
segundos antes de que usted puede intentar un
análisis nuevo. La caja fuerte sonará una vez ( si
el sonido está activado ) y la luz verde parpadea
una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha
terminado.
Si hay 1 exploración más rechazados , donde se
leyó su huella digital y la luz roja parpadea 5 veces
con 5 pitidos ( si el sonido está activado ) , tendrá
un bloqueo automático durante 5 minutos antes de
que usted puede intentar un análisis nuevo. La caja
fuerte sonará una vez ( si el sonido está activado ) y
la luz verde parpadea una vez cuando el período de
bloqueo ha terminado.
Para cerrar la caja fuerte , empuje la puerta cerrada
hasta que quede asegurada .

Para apagar el sonido , presione el escáner con una
huella digital registrada por 10 segundos hasta que la
luz verde parpadea dos veces.
Para activar el sonido , pulse el escáner con una
huella digital registrada hasta escuchar dos pitidos y
la luz verde parpadea dos veces.
Su caja fuerte viene con el sonido de pitido
activada.
Para borrar la memoria de todas las huellas
digitales registradas , localice el botón de reinicio
en la parte interior de la caja de seguridad y pulse
este botón durante unos 5 segundos hasta que la
luz verde parpadea 10 veces con 10 pitidos ( si el
sonido está activado ) . Se borrarán todos los
escaneos grabados.
NOTA : Para mayor seguridad debe registrar
una huella digital . De no hacerlo, pondrá en
peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de la caja
fuerte.
Abra el compartimiento de la funda como se
describe en la Instalación de la sección de la batería .
Cuando el compartimento funda ha sido liberado
desde el bastidor y los soportes de L han sido girado
por lo que son plana contra la parte posterior del
compartimiento de funda, localizar 2 tuercas que se
encuentran en la parte inferior del cuerpo de caja
fuerte. Quite las 2 tuercas y arandelas utilizando los
dedos y levante el seguro fuera de las pestañas en la
parte posterior de la funda.
Hay algunas lengüetas de jación del manguito de
montaje que guían la parte posterior de la caja fuerte
en la posición - usted tendrá que asegurarse de que
ha maniobrado la caja fuerte de estas chas.

La caja fuerte se debe jar en el soporte de montaje .

MANTENIMIENTO
ASEGURAR LA CAJA FUERTE
NOTA: Esta caja fuerte siempre debe ser
efectuada en el soporte de montaje y montarse
en una pared o supercie sólida. De no hacerlo,
pondrá en peligro la seguridad y la seguridad de
la caja fuerte.
Fije el soporte de montaje a la pared tacos
usando los agujeros previamente perforados
de montaje en el soporte y el hardware
proporcionado.
NOTA SOBRE EL BLOQUEO DEL SAFE: El

modo que está anclada al montante de la
pared en dos lugares. Anclas de pared se
deben utilizar en el otro lado. El soporte debe
estar asegurada en 4 lugares. Utilice el
hardware proporcionado o consultar a su
distribuidor de hardware para la jación de

montaje, debe asegurar soporte de la caja

Coloque el soporte de montaje en el lugar

perfore un agujero piloto de 3/16 " de diámetro y
fije el soporte con los tornillos y arandelas .
Coloque la caja fuerte de nuevo en el soporte de
montaje y vuelva a colocar las 2 tuercas de
mariposa y arandelas. Asegure el compartimiento
de la funda en su lugar, siguiendo los pasos de
Clausura la sección de Seguridad de estas
instrucciones. Cierre la cerradura y seguro.

Las Cajas Fuertes de Acero de Stack-On Products Co. (“Stack-On”) están garantizados como libres
de defectos de materiales y hechura durante un período de tres (3) años a partir de la fecha de compra
original de un consumidor. Esta garantía se aplica al consumidor inicial solamente.
