• Record the serial number from the tag on
the back of the safe or from the tag on the
front boom corner of the safe.
• Keep keys in a secure place away from

• Do not store the back up key, or this
document in the safe.
• Do not move this safe using its handle. The
handle should only be used for opening and
closing the door of the safe.
• Do not store electronic media, computer
disks, audio-visual media or photographic
negaves in this safe. This material will not
survive the rated internal temperature of the
safe. This material may be damaged or
destroyed.
• Warning: Keep your safe closed and locked
at all mes when not in use. Children could
accidentally be locked inside the safe.

BATTERY INSTALLATION

You must first install the baeries which are
located in the front protecve Styrofoam.
This safe uses 4 - AAA baeries. Under normal
use, baeries will last about 1 year.
NOTE: Do not mix old and new baeries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard or
rechargeable baeries.
NOTE: When changing or installing the
baeries, do not pull on the wires. Doing
this could cause the power supply to become
disconnected from the lock.
NOTE: If the baeries are low, the green and
red indicator lights will flash together when
you start scanning. Replace with 4 new AAA
alkaline baeries.
To replace the baeries, remove the lock
faceplate by pressing the tab and turning the
cover as shown in the illustraon below.

Open the baery compartment located on the
back of the lock faceplate as shown below.
Aer baeries are installed, reaach the
faceplate by twisng it on in the opposite
direcon of the illustraon on previous page.

NOTE: In certain dry climate condions, your
fingerprint may not scan. If your fingerprint did not
scan, we recommend moisturizing with minimal
loon and trying again.

RECORDING FINGERPRINTS
NOTE: The red reset buon located on the
inside of the door, is covered with a remov-
able red cap. When you use the red reset
buon while seng your own combinaon,
remove the cap to access the buon.
Replace the cap securely over the reset
buon aer seng your combinaon.
Failure to do so will compromise the safety
and security of the safe.
To record a fingerprint, first press the Reset Buon
on the inside of the safe. The scanner will turn blue
with two beeps (if the sound is turned on) and the
green light flashes twice, you will then record the
same finger three mes as follows:
1. Place your finger on the scanner unl there
is one beep (if the sound is turned on) and the
green light flashes once. Li your finger off
the scanner.
2. Place the same finger on the scanner for a
second me, holding the finger in the same
posion unl there is one beep (if the sound is
turned on) and the green light flashes once. Li
your finger off the scanner.
3. Place the same finger on the scanner for a
third me, holding the finger in the same posion
unl there are two beeps (if the sound is turned
on) and the green light flashes twice.
Li your finger off the scanner. Your fingerprint is
now recorded.
SCAN THE SAME FINGER 3X
If the red light flashes three mes with three beeps
(if the sound is turned on) your fingerprint did not
get recorded and you will have to start over.
If you enter more than 20 fingerprints, the red light
will flash 5 mes and there will be 5 beeps
(if the sound is turned on).
When you first receive your safe there are no
recorded fingerprints. Any fingerprint will open the
safe unl a fingerprint is recorded. For security you
must record a fingerprint. Failure to do so will
compromise the safety and security of the safe. You
can record up to 20 different fingerprints for opening
the safe. For best results, each individual should use
their thumb or index finger only.
Open the safe by turning the handle

OPENING THE SAFE USING YOUR
FINGERPRINT
To acvate the scanner, touch the scanner or face
plate anywhere with a recorded finger - the green
light flashes once with one beep (if the sound is
turned on). The blue light will come on, now scan
the recorded fingerprint.
If the green light flashes twice with 2 beeps (if the
sound is turned on), the scan has been accepted
and you will have 5 seconds to turn the handle to
open the door.
If the red light flashes once, the scanner did not
read your fingerprint and you must try again. If the
red light flashes 3 mes, the scanner read your
fingerprint and did not accept it.
If there are 3 rejected scans, where your
fingerprint was read, and the red light flashes 5
mes with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on),
you will have an automac lockout for 60
seconds before you can try a scan again. The
safe will beep one me (if the sound is turned
on) and the green light will flash once when the
lockout period is over.
If there is 1 more rejected scan where your
fingerprint was read and the red light flashes 5 mes
with 5 beeps (if the sound is turned on), you will
have an automac lockout for 5 minutes before you
can try a scan again. The safe will beep one me (if
the sound is turned on) and the green light will flash
once when the lockout period is over.
LOCKING THE SAFE
To lock the safe, close the
door and rotate the handle
clockwise unl it stops. If the
handle is not turned unl it
stops, the locking mechanism
will not lock.
TURNING THE SOUND OFF/ON
Your safe comes with the beep sound turned on.
To turn the sound off, press the scanner with a
recorded fingerprint for 10 seconds unl the
green light flashes twice.
To turn the sound on, press the scanner with a
recorded fingerprint unl you hear two beeps and
the green light flashes twice.
CLEARING THE MEMORY
To clear the memory of all recorded
fingerprints, locate the reset buon on the
inside of the safe and press this buon for
about 5 seconds unl the green light flashes 10
mes with 10 beeps (if the sound is turned on).
All recorded scans will be erased.
NOTE: For security you must record a
fingerprint. Failure to do so will compromise
the safety and security of the safe.
SELECTING A LOCATION
The safe must be mounted to the floor. For
opmal safety and security, the safe should
be installed adjacent to a side wall with
minimal space on either side of the safe, in an
isolated, dry and secure area.
The safe should be flat against the wall and
floor. Remove the baseboard if necessary.
CHILDREN SHOULD NOT PLAY WITH OR
AROUND THE SAFE AT ANY TIME.
NOTE ON LOCKING THE SAFE:
Because the locking mechanism is deacvated
for approximately 3 to 6 seconds aer the
fingerprint is entered, wait a minimum of
6 seconds from the me the scan is entered to
lock the safe.

SECURING THE SAFE
Mark the holes to be used. Drill the appropriate
diameter and depth of pilot holes depending on the
type of hardware being used and the type of
mounng surface.
Secure the safe with the fasteners.
NOTE: The safe must be secured to the floor.
Use the hardware provided or consult your
hardware retailer for fastening hardware for your
parcular mounng surface.
NOTE: This safe must be mounted to the floor.
Failure to do so will compromise the safety and
security of the safe.
TURNING THE SOUND OFF/ON BACK UP KEY
A "Back Up Key" has been provided in case the
baeries run low. If you lose your key, you may
purchase a replacement key be referencing the
serial number located on the back of your safe
or the front lower right corner. See secon
regarding replacement keys for further
informaon.
1. Remove the cover by pressing the tab and
turning the cover as shown in the illustraon.
The lock can hang by the connecng cable while
unlocking the safe.
2. Insert the key in the key hole and turn
clockwise 1/4 turn (unl stopped) in order to
unlock the safe. Rotate the handle and open
the door.
3. Keep the door open unl you have recorded a
new fingerprint. Before entering your new
recorded fingerprint remove the key and screw
the cover back in place.
4. Scan your new fingerprint following the
instrucons for recording your fingerprint.

BACK UP KEY SHELF
The safe includes a removable shelf, which is
posioned towards the front of the safe. There is a
gap between the back of the shelf and back wall of
the safe that can accommodate long gun barrels.

in a secure place separate from your safe. To order a
replacement key set, follow the instrucons on the
aached form.
Pistol rack extensions can be added to the pistol
rack by by threading the eye of the extension loop
through the pistol rack hook.
Secure the stabilizing plates to the back wall of the
safe carpet.

Pistols can be stored for quick access by sliding the
gun’s barrel over the hook. Secure the pistol rack
by aaching the stabilizer plate aachment to the
back wall of the safe carpet.
Long guns can be stored between the pistol racks.
Pistol racks are removable. Remove the screws
from the barrel rest. Remove the barrel rest and
simply pull the wire hooks off the barrel rest.

INSTALACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA
Primero debe instalar las baterías que se
encuentran en la espuma de poliesreno de
protección fente.
Esta caja fuerte uliza 4 - pilas AAA. Bajo uso
normal, las pilas duran aproximadamente 1 año.
NOTA: No mezcle pilas viejas y nuevas. No
mezcle pilas alcalinas , pilas estándar o
recargables.
NOTA: Al cambiar o instalar las pilas, no rar
los cables. Hacer esto podría causar que la fuente
de alimentación se desconecte de la cerradura.
NOTA: Si las baterías están bajas, el indicador
parpadeará en verde y rojo cuando se inicia la
exploración. Reemplazar con 4 nuevas pilas
alcalinas AAA.
Para reemplazar las baterías, rerar la planlla del
bloqueo presionando la lengüeta y girando la
cubierta como se muestra en la siguiente
ilustración.

Abra el comparmento de las pilas situada en
laparte posterior de la placa frontal de la
cerradura. Consulte la imagen siguiente.
Una vez instaladas las baterías , vuelva a
colocar la placa frontal por torsión en la
dirección opuesta de la ilustración de la
página anterior.
LENGUA

NOTA: El botón rojo de reinicio situado en la
parte interior de la puerta, se cubre con una
gorra roja extraíble. Cuando se uliza el
botón de reinicio rojo mientras el establec-
imiento de su propia combinación , rere la
tapa para acceder al botón.
Vuelva a colocar la tapa de forma segura a
través del botón de reinicio después de
establecer su combinación. De no hacerlo,
pondrá en peligro la seguridad y la
seguridad de la caja fuerte.

Para registrar una huella digital, primero pulse el
botón de reinicio en el interior de la caja fuerte. El
escáner se vuelve azul con dos pidos ( si el sonido
está acvado) y el verde luz parpadea dos veces, a
connuación, se registrará la misma dedo tres veces
como sigue:
1. Coloque el dedo en el escáner hasta que haya un
pido (si el sonido está acvado) y la luz verde
parpadea una vez . Levantar el dedo del escáner.
2. Coloque el mismo dedo en el escáner por segunda
vez, sosene el dedo en la misma posición hasta que
haya un pido (si el sonido está acvado) y la luz
verde parpadea una vez. Levantar el dedo del
escáner.
3. Coloque el mismo dedo en el escáner por tercera
vez, sosene el dedo en la misma posición hasta que
haya dos pidos (si el sonido está acvado) y la luz
verde parpadea dos veces. Levantar el dedo del
escáner. Su huella digital se registra ahora.
NOTA: En ciertas condiciones de clima seco, su
huella digital no puede escanear. Si su huella digital
no se ha escaneado, se recomienda hidratación con
loción de mínima y de
volver a intentarlo.
ESCANEAR EL MISMO DEDO 3X
Si la luz roja parpadea tres veces con tres pidos (si el
sonido está acvado) su huella digital no consiguió
registrada y usted tendrá que empezar de nuevo.
Si introduce más de 20 huellas daclares, la luz roja
parpadeará 5 veces y habrá 5 pidos (si el sonido
está acvado).
GRABACIÓN DE HUELLAS DIGITALES
Cuando usted recibe por primera ocasión su caja
fuerte, esta no tendrá registrada ninguna huella
digital. Cualquier huella digital abrirá la caja fuerte
hasta que usted registre su propia huella digital. Por
razones de seguridad usted deberá registrar su
huella digital. Si usted no registra su huella digital
esto comprometerá la seguridad de su caja fuerte.
Usted podrá registrar hasta 20 diferentes huellas
digitales para abrir su caja fuerte. Para mejor
resultados, cada persona deberá usar solamente el
dedo índice o pulgar.
Abra la caja fuerte girando la manija en sentido
contrario de las agujas del reloj y jale la puerta
para abrirla.

SELECCIÓN DE UNA UBICACIÓN
La caja fuerte debe ser plana contra la pared y el
suelo Rere la placa base si es necesario.
La caja de seguridad ene que ser montado en el
suelo. Para la seguridad y la seguridad ópma, la
caja de seguridad debe ser instalado adyacente a
una pared lateral con un espacio mínimo a cada
lado de la caja de seguridad , en una zona aislada
, seco y seguro.
LOS NIÑOS NO DEBEN JUGAR CON O
TODO EL SEGURO EN CUALQUIER
MOMENTO .
BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO
NOTA SOBRE EL BLOQUEO DEL SEGURO: Debido a
que el mecanismo de bloqueo se desacva durante
aproximadamente 3 a 6 segundos después de que se
introduzca la huella digital , esperar un mínimo de 6
segundos desde el momento en que se introduzca la
combinación para bloquear la caja fuerte.
BORRADO DE LA MEMORIA
Para borrar la memoria de todas las huellas
digitales registradas, localizar el botón de reinicio
en el interior de la caja fuerte y pulsar este botón
durante unos 5 segundos hasta que la luz verde
parpadea 10 veces con 10 pidos ( si el sonido está
acvado). Se borrarán todos los escaneos grabados.
NOTA: Para mayor seguridad se debe registrar una
huella digital. De no hacerlo, pondrá en peligro la
seguridad y la seguridad de la caja fuerte.

ABRIR EL SEGURO USANDO SU
HUELLA
Para abrir la caja de seguridad, pulse el escáner con
un dedo registrado. La luz verde parpadea una vez
con un pido (si el sonido está acvado). La luz azul
se encenderá y la exploración se iniciará.
Si la luz parpadea en verde dos veces con 2 pidos
(si el sonido está acvado), la exploración ha sido
aceptada y tendrá 5 segundos para girar la manija
para abrir la puerta.
Si la luz roja parpadea una vez, el escáner no leyó su
huella digital y enes que probar de nuevo. Si la luz
roja parpadea 3 veces, el escáner lee la huella
daclar y no lo aceptó.
Si hay 3 exploraciones rechazados, donde se leyó
su huella digital, y los destellos de luz roja 5
veces con 5 pidos (si el sonido está acvado),
tendrá un bloqueo automáco durante 60
segundos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un
escaneo. La caja fuerte emirá un pido (si el
sonido está acvado) y la luz verde parpadea
una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha
terminado.
Si hay 1 exploración más rechazada, donde se
leyó la huella daclar y la luz roja parpadea 5
veces con 5 pidos (si el sonido está acvado),
tendrá un bloqueo automáco durante 5
minutos antes de intentarlo de nuevo un
escaneo. La caja fuerte emirá un pido (si el
sonido está acvado) y la luz verde parpadea
una vez cuando el período de bloqueo ha
terminado.
ACTIVAR EL SONIDO DE
ENCENDIDO Y APAGADO
Para acvar el sonido, pulse el escáner con una
huella digital registrada por 10 segundos hasta que
la luz verde parpadea dos veces.
Para acvar el sonido , pulse el escáner con una
huella digital registrada hasta que oiga dos pidos
y la luz verde parpadea dos veces.
Su caja fuerte viene con el sonido de pido
acvado.

PARA FIJAR LA CAJA FUERTE
Marque los hoyos que va a ulizar. Taladre
hoyos del diámetro y profundidad adecuados
dependiendo del material de fijación que
piensa ulizar y el po de superficie.
Fije con el material de fijación.
NOTA: La caja fuerte debe ser asegurado al suelo.
Ulice los accesorios suministrados o consulte con
su proveedor de hardware para la fijación de
hardware para su superficie de montaje parcular.
NOTA: Esta seguridad debe montarse en el
suelo. De lo contrario, pondrá en peligro la
seguridad de la caja fuerte.
LLAVE DE RESERVA
Un " Llave de Reserva" se ha proporcionado en
caso de que haya olvidado o perdido su código
de seguridad . Para abrir la caja fuerte usando la
tecla de copia de seguridad , siga los pasos a
connuación:
1. Rere la tapa presionando la lengüeta y
girando la cubierta como se muestra en la
ilustración. El bloqueo puede colgar por el cable
de conexión , mientras que el desbloqueo de la
caja fuerte.
2. Introduzca la llave en el ojo de la cerradura y
girar en sendo horario 1/4 de vuelta ( hasta
que se deene ) con el fin de desbloquear la

Las extensiones del basdor de la pistola se pueden
agregar al estante el basdor atornillando el orificio
del gancho de extensión a través del gancho del
estante de la pistola. Fije las placas estabilizadoras
a la pared posterior de la alfombra de la caja de
seguridad con el gancho y el bucle unidos.

REPISA
La caja fuerte incluye una repisa desprendible, que
se coloca hacia el frente de la caja fuerte. Hay un
espacio entre la parte posterior del estante y la
pared trasera de la caja fuerte, donde puede
acomodar las armas de cañón largo.
Las pistolas se pueden guardar con acceso rápido
deslizando el cañón de las armas sobre el gancho.
Asegure la rejilla de la pistola adjuntando la placa
estabilizadora con gancho y lazo adjunto, en la
pared trasera donde se encuentra la alfombra de la
caja de seguridad. Las armas más largas pueden ser
almacenadas en los basdores para la pistola.
Los basdores de pistolas son removibles,
simplemente rando del cable hacia arriba a través
de la parte posterior del resto del tambor. Tenga
cuidado de no desalojar el resto del cañón.

Las Cajas Fuertes de Acero de Stack-On Products Co. (“Stack-On”) están garantizados
como libres de defectos de materiales y hechura durante un período de tres (3) años a partir de
