SET UP INSTRUCTIONS
Transmitter PROGRAMMING MODES (900MHz Version)
During installation the controller must be programmed to lock the TV transmitters. The product is
backwards compatible with all other brands of transmitters so there will be a total of four different
programming modes. In each mode the receiver will automatically scrolls through the frequency
bandwidth and “lock-in” the transmitters. Due to spurious emissions and possible missed transmitters,
a manual mode that enables installer to select individual transmitter channels (each channel is a
designated frequency) and “lock” or “erase” any given channel is also provided.
NOTE: 863MHz version will only have two program modes P-1 for MYE and P-2 for Enercise.
1: To enter transmitter program mode: Press CHANNEL DOWN and VOLUME UP buttons
simultaneously for three seconds. After three seconds the unit will enter program mode.
DISPLAY- “P-1” will pop up on the display after 3 seconds.
2: To select program mode press CH/TRK “+” or “-“ to select one of the program modes.
DISPLAY (900MHz) P-1, P-2, P-3, P-4
P-1 = MYE Entertainment Transmitter Mode
P-2 = Cardio Theater LCS Mode
P-3 = Cardio Theater / Enercise xTV Mode
P-4 = BroadcastVision Mode

3: To automatically scan and “lock-in” transmitters press INPUT button.
DISPLAY- will show transmitter numbers being scanned in order of frequencies (1, 2, and 3, etc., up
to 32 or 52 for the 900MHz). The total number of channels will correspond to the program mode
selected.
When Scan is complete the controller will default to the first transmitter channel that was found.

Note: the auto scan may be skipped and the installer may go directly to the manual scan (step 4) by
pressing the EQ button instead of pressing INPUT.
4: The installer may now scroll through all channels to determine if a transmitter was missed or a
spurious emission was picked up. Then “add or delete” a specific transmitter number.
Press CHANNEL UP/DOWN buttons to scroll through all TV (transmitter) numbers within the specified
transmitter mode. Example: Cardio Theater xTV Mode will scroll through a total of 32 channels (each
channel directly relates to a specific frequency).
DISPLAY- PRESET Icon will appear when a specific transmitter channel is programmed. When a
particular transmitter channel is not programmed the PRESET Icon will not appear.

first transmitter channel programmed.

Important Note Regarding Transmitter Channel Program Modes:
The Enercise/Cardio Theater Transmitter Frequency Chart have been provided below for reference.
You will note that the frequencies are set in a particular order starting at number 1 through 32. In most
cased the installers will connect the first transmitter to the first TV and set it to #1. They will move
forward to TV number 2 setting transmitter to #2 and so on. There are instances where a particular
frequency is not performing correctly due to various reasons (spurious emissions, interference from
other sources etc.). So as an example if the installer is at TV 4 but Transmitter channel #4 is not
performing, the installer simply moves to the next Transmitters channel, in this case #5, he/she will
then continue on from there. So in essence a typical 5 TV installation may look like this:
TV-1 / Transmitter Channel #1
TV-2 / Transmitter Channel #2
TV-3 / Transmitter Channel #3
TV-4 / Transmitter Channel #5*
TV-5 / Transmitter Channel #6
In this case we had to skip Transmitter channel #4 due to a problem.
However regardless of the Transmitter channels added or deleted, we must always show the actual
TV numbers in correct sequence. In the case above the wall mounted TV’s will have number signs
under each TV starting at 1 and ending with 5. This is the same method used in our last
Enercise/Cardio Theater software.

TROUBLE SHOOTING:
DISPLAY MESSAGES
Headphone Icon with X through it signifies faulty headphone jack to be replaced. The headphone icon
will come on and flash ON and OFF when the self diagnostic headphone circuit detects a faulty
headphone jack. This flashing indication will remain until it is reset. It may be reset by holding the
POWER button down for three seconds when powering up the console, or by completely removing
power from the console.
SYSTEM RESET
The system can be reset by holding the POWER button down for three seconds at power up. At the
end of the three seconds, the Headphone fault icon displays briefly, indicating that the ‘reset’ has
occurred. The fault condition can also be reset by completely removing power from the console.
RECEPTION RANGE
To change the controller reception to Near/Far, make sure the controller off. Press and hold down the
VOLUME UP button, then press and release the POWER button. Continue holding the VOLUME UP
button for three seconds until ‘LO’ is displayed on the console. This configures the Controller for
“Near” reception. If this procedure is repeated, the display will indicate ‘HI’ and the Controller will be
configured for “Far” reception. The factory default setting is “Far”.
