Before using your new Universal Remote Control, please
read this instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put
them away in a safe place for future references.
IMPORTANT
Clean only with a soft, dry cloth.
Please insert new batteries within 5 minutes after replacing, in
order to avoid the reprogramming.

HOW TO USE THE QUICK PROGRAM METHOD
Before using the universal remote control, be sure it has 2 new
AA batteries.
You can use the quick program with the enlisted codes in the
Appendix A, that you can see on Appendix A. If your device
does not respond or is not functioning properly, please try with
each code listed for your brand. If it’s necessary, try the Search
Method.

1.- Turn on the device that you want to program.
2.- Press the button which correspond to the device to be
programmed. In the screen you will see the selected device.
3.- Press and hold SET for 3 seconds, in the screen you will see
the message CODE SETUP.
4.- Press SELECT . Find the code for your device in the codes
list and enter the 3 digits code.
5.- If the code is correct, the screen will show the message
Success.
6.- Now aims the remote control at your device, and press
POWER. If your device switch on, you are ready to operate the
device. Watch and keep that your device works properly with
the remote control. If your device does not respond or is not
functioning properly, please try with each code listed for your
brand, repeating from step 2 to 5. If it’s necessary, try the Search
Method.
Do not use more than 10 seconds to press a button in each
step, otherwise you’ll leave the program mode and you must
start the process, again.
Probably there are more than one code for your device, but
only one of them will control almost the total of functions,
try to find the more appropriated code for your brand.
SEARCH METHOD
1.- Be sure the device to be programmed is ON, not in Stand-By.
2.- Press the button of the desired device in the remote
controller. In the LCD screen you will see the selected device
name.
3.- Press and hold SET for 3 seconds, CODE SETUP message
displays in the screen.
4.- Use the multi-control button to choose CODE SRCH option.
5.- Press SELECT to confirm the option.
6.- Aim the remote controller to the desired device while use
Search Method.
7.- Move the multi-control button, Up or Down, to see different
codes in the screen.
8.- When your device turns off, press SELECT to choose the
right code.
9.- Press POWER once again in the remote controller in order to
check if your device turns on. Test the remote control functions, it
must control almost the functions, otherwise repeat the
instructions.

Do not press different button as mentioned in this user’s
manual.
You have 30 seconds as a maximum time to press a button
in each programming step, otherwise, you will leave the
Search Method and must repeat from step 2.
DELETING CODES
If you want to delete a code from a specific device, use any of
the programming methods, the new code will replace the old
one.
CLOCK SETTING
1.- Press SET for 3 seconds, CODE SETUP is displayed in the
screen.
2.- Use the multi-control button to choose CLOCK SET OPTION.
3.- Press SELECT to configure the clock.
4.- The hour blinks.
5.- With the multi-control button, move Up or Down to set the
correct time.
6.- Press SELECT to set the minutes, again use the multi-control
button.
7.- Press SELECT, and now you can set the current day.
8.- To set the day, use the multi-control button.
9.- Press SELECT to store the changes in memory. In the screen
you will see the message SUCCESS.
VOLUME SET
If one of your devices includes a volume control, and you don’t
want to activate using the remote controller, follow these steps:
1.- Press and hold SET for 3 seconds, CODE SETUP is dis-
played in the screen.
2.- Use multi-control button to choose VOLUME SET option.
Then press the SELECT button.
3.- Select the device you want to block the volume. In the screen
you will see the selected device.
4.- With the multi-control button move Up or Down to select VOL
LOCK option.
5.- press SELECT to store the changes in memory. In the screen
you will see the message SUCCESS.
If you want to unlock the volume, repeat steps 1 to 3 and
choose the VOL UNLOCK option.

LOCK / UNLOCK DEVICES
Use this option to restrict the use of certain devices.
1.- Press and hold SET for 3 seconds, in the screen you will see
the message CODE SETUP.
2.- Use the multi-control to choose DEVICE SET option. Then
press SELECT.
3.- Select the device you want to block. You will see it in the
screen.
4.- Use the multi-control button, Up or Down, to choose the DEV
LOCK option.
5.- Press SELECT to store the changes in memory. If the pro-
cess is correct, the word SUCCESS displays in the screen.
If you want to unlock the device, repeat steps from 1 to 3,
and choose DEV UNLOCK option.
MACRO
This option allows you to program a playback sequence. With
the touch of one button, you will turn the TV on, change a
channel and volume up.
Example:
Choose TV, turn it on, change to channel 2, and volume up
in two levels (5 steps).
1.- Press SET for 3 seconds, CODE SETUP is displayed in the
screen.
2.- Use the multi-control button to choose MACRO SET option,
then press SELECT to confirm it.
3.- Use the multi-control button to choose Macro 1 option.
4.- Press SELECT to enter Macro mode, you will see the used
steps (Key X).
5.- Press TV1 button (or where your TV is programmed) (Step 1).
6.- Press POWER button (Step 2).
7.- Press number 2 (Step 3).
8.- Press Volume up button, twice (Step 4 and 5).
9.- After the button sequence, press MACRO, in order to save
the program in memory, the word SUCCESS displays in the
screen and the process will be completed.
10.- To start the sequence, press MACRO, once.

Volume +: Multiplication
Volume -: Division
Channel +: Sum
Channel -: Subtraction
Power: Clean the screen
4.- To leave Calculator Mode, press REM / CAL
SWITCH FROM ONE DEVICE TO OTHER
Just click the button of the desired device to use (TV, Sat, , Aux,
VCR, etc.).
RESTART
If you want to back to default parameters:
1.- Press and hold SET for 3 seconds, CODE SETUP will be
displayed in the screen.
2.- Chose RESET ALL option, using the multi-control button.
3.- The message CONFIRM, displays in the screen, if you want
to delete the parameters, press SELECT. If the process is com-
pleted, the message SUCCESS displays.

COMO UTILIZAR LA PROGRAMACIÓN RÁPIDA
Antes de comenzar a utilizar su control remoto asegúrese de
que tenga instalada 2 baterías AA nuevas.
Usted puede utilizar la programación rápida con los códigos
enlistados en las siguientes páginas. Si al introducir algún
código el control remoto no realiza la mayoría de las funciones

de su aparato programado, por favor intente con los códigos de
la lista que corresponden a su marca. De ser necesario utilice el
método de búsqueda automática.
1.- Encienda el equipo que desea programar.
2.- Presione el botón que corresponde al dispositivo que desee
programar. En pantalla se mostrará el equipo seleccionado.
3.- Presione la tecla SET por tres segundos, en pantalla se
muestra el mensaje CODE SETUP.
4.- Presione SELECT e introduzca el código de 3 dígitos
(consulte la lista anexa) que corresponda a la marca de su
equipo.
5.- Si el código es correcto, la pantalla mostrará el mensaje
Success.
6.- Oprima la tecla de Encendido (Power). Su aparato deberá
apagarse. Presione una vez más para encenderlo. Observe y
asegúrese que la mayoría de las funciones del control remoto
funcionan adecuadamente, en caso de no funcionar intente la
programación con los códigos de la lista que corresponden a
su marca, repitiendo los pasos 2 al 5. De ser necesario utilice el
método de búsqueda automática.
No exceda de más de 10 segundos entre cada paso ya que
el control remoto se saldrá del modo de programación y
tendrá que comenzar de nuevo.
Puede haber más de un código que controle su equipo,
pero sólo un código accionará la mayoría de las funciones,
trate de encontrar el código más adecuado.
MÉTODO DE BÚSQUEDA AUTOMÁTICA
1.- Asegúrese de que su aparato esté encendido (no en
Stand By).
2.- Presione el botón que corresponde al dispositivo que desee
programar. En pantalla se mostrará el equipo seleccionado.
3.- Presione la tecla SET por tres segundos, en pantalla se
muestra el mensaje CODE SETUP.
4.- Utilice el botón multi-control para seleccionar la opción
CODE SRCH.
5.- Presione SELECT para confirmar la opción.
6.- Apunte directamente el control remoto universal a su aparato
durante el método de búsqueda.

pantalla se mostrarán diferentes códigos.
8.- Cuando su equipo se apague, presione SELECT para elegir
el código.
9.- Oprima la tecla de Encendido (Power) nuevamente para
comprobar que su equipo enciende. Pruebe que el control

BORRADO DE CÓDIGOS
Si Usted quisiera borrar el código de un aparato en específico,
utilice los métodos de programación rápida o de búsqueda
automática; se reemplazará el viejo código por el nuevo.
AJUSTANDO EL RELOJ
1.- Presione la tecla SET por tres segundos, en pantalla se
muestra el mensaje CODE SETUP.
2.- Utilice el botón multi-control para seleccionar la opción
CLOCK SET.
3.- Presione SELECT para entrar al modo de configuración del
reloj.
4.- La hora comenzará a parpadear.
5.- Mueva hacia abajo o arriba el botón multi-control para ajustar
la hora correcta.
6.- Presione SELECT para ajustar los minutos, de nueva cuenta,
utilice el botón multi-control hasta que los minutos sean los
correctos.
7.- Presione SELECT para configurar el día.
8.- De igual forma, mueva hacia arriba o abajo el botón
multi-control.
9.- Presione SELECT para guardar los cambios en memoria. En
la pantalla se mostrará el mensaje SUCCESS.

AJUSTE DE VOLUMEN
Si un dispositivo cuenta con control de volumen y no desee que
se active mediante el control remoto universal, siga estos pasos:
1.- Presione el botón SET por tres segundos, en pantalla se
muestra el mensaje CODE SETUP.
2.- Utilice el botón multi-control para seleccionar la opción
VOLUME SET. Presione SELECT.
3.- Seleccione el dispositivo del que desea bloquear el volumen.
En la pantalla se mostrará el equipo seleccionado.
4.- Mueva hacia arriba o abajo el botón multi-control para
seleccionar la opción de VOL LOCK.
5.- Presione SELECT para guardar los cambios en memoria. En
pantalla se muestra el mensaje SUCCESS.
Si desea desactivar esta opción, repita los pasos 1 al 3 y
seleccione la opción VOL UNLOCK.
BLOQUEO / DESBLOQUEO DE DISPOSITIVOS
Mediante esta opción podrá restringir el uso de ciertos
dispositivos.
1.- Presione el botón SET por tres segundos, en pantalla se
muestra el mensaje CODE SETUP.
2.- Utilice el botón multi-control para seleccionar la opción
DEVICE SET. Presione SELECT.
3.- Seleccione el dispositivo que desea bloquear su acceso. En
la pantalla se mostrará el equipo seleccionado.
4.- Mueva hacia arriba o abajo el botón multi-control para
seleccionar la opción de DEV LOCK.
5.- Presione SELECT para guardar los cambios en memoria. En
pantalla se muestra el mensaje SUCCESS.
Si desea desactivar esta opción, repita los pasos 1 al 3 y
seleccione la opción DEV UNLOCK.
MACRO
Esta opción le permite programar una secuencia de
reproducción. Es decir, mediante un botón podrá encender el
televisor, cambiar de canal y aumentar de volumen.

Ejemplo:
Seleccionar TV, encenderla, cambiar al canal 2, y aumentar
volumen en dos niveles (5 pasos).

MACRO SET. Presione SELECT.
3.- Seleccione Macro 1 moviendo el botón multi-control hacia

4.- Presione SELECT. En pantalla se muestra el número de
pasos que se utilizan (Key X).
5.- Presione el botón de TV1 (o donde se encuentre
seleccionado su televisor) (Paso 1).
6.- Presione el botón de POWER (Paso 2).
7.- Presione el número 2 (Paso 3).
8.- Presione el botón de volumen 2 veces (Paso 4 y 5).
9.- Una vez que terminó el proceso de introducir la secuencia de
botones, presione el botón MACRO, en pantalla se muestra el
mensaje SUCCESS, el proceso estará completo.
10.- Para comenzar la secuencia, presione el botón de MACRO
una vez.
Puede programar hasta dos secuencias de botones
(MACRO 1 y MACRO 2).
CALCULADORA
1.- Presione el botón de REM / CAL para entrar al modo de
calculadora.
2.- Utilice los botones numéricos para realizar cuentas.
3.- Botones con funciones especiales en modo de calculadora:
ENT: Muestra resultado (=)
P-CH: Agrega un punto decimal
Volumen +: Multiplicación
Volumen -: División
Canal +: Suma
Canal -: Resta
Power: Limpia la pantalla (CE)
4.- Para salir del modo de calculadora, presione REM / CAL.

COMO CAMBIAR DE UN APARATO A OTRO
Simplemente presione el botón del aparato que desea utilizar
(TV, Sat, , Aux, VCR, etc.).
REINICIO
Si desea regresar a las opciones predeterminadas de fábrica:
1.- Presione el botón SET por tres segundos, en pantalla se
muestra el mensaje CODE SETUP.
2.- Utilice el botón multi-control para seleccionar la opción
RESET ALL.
3.- Aparece el mensaje CONFIRM; si desea borrar todos los
parámetros, presione SELECT, en pantalla se mostrará el
mensaje SUCCESS.
Este proceso borra toda la programación previamente
realizada.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in
workmanship and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of
purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket,
product box or package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is
required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was
received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well
as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky
batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized
personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.

CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue
adquirido o en Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso
de estar defectuoso sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación
serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir
de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse
efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios,
así como hacer válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones
mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa
comercial donde adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el
consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de
garantía, previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.
