HOW TO INSTALL THE DRIVERS ON XP
Install the drivers before to connect the Web Cam into an
available USB port.
1.- Place the Installation CD into CD-ROM drive.
2.- When Installation program starts, click on Driver option.
3.- At Welcome window, click on Next to continue.
4.- The installation begins. It is possible that while running the
installation program, a warning window displays, just click
Continue, otherwise the process will be canceled.

5.- Press Finish to conclude the driver installation process.
6.- Plug the Web Cam into an available USB port in the
computer.
7.- The computer detects the new hardware, automatically New
Hardware wizard starts.

8.- Click on Not in this moment, then click on Next to continue.
9.- In the next window, check Install the software automatically
(recommended). Click on Next to continue.
10.- PC begins updating the system. It is possible that a warning
message about Windows logotype displays in the screen, just
click on Continue, otherwise the process will be canceled.

11.- Click on Finish. The camera is correctly configured.
To leave the initial installation window, click on X, located
on the top right side of the screen.

PLACING THE WEB CAM
Web Cam can be placed in two different ways, using the Web
Cam base or the clip.
If you use the base, you can place it on a desk. But if you prefer
to use the clip, then you can place it on the laptop’s LCD screen.
USING THE WEBCAM BY FIRST TIME
1.- Locates the AMPCAP.EXE file and run it (Start >> Programs
>> PC Camera >> Amcap).
2.- A real time image appears on the window, the image is sent
by the WebCam.
You can use the WebCam with most popular instant
messengers.
Capture button (located at front of the camera) allows you to
take snapshots.

INSTALACIÓN DE DRIVERS EN WINDOWS XP
No conecte la cámara Web en el puerto de la computadora
antes de instalar los drivers.
1.- Inserte el disco de instalación en la unidad de CD-ROM.
2.- Cuando el programa de instalación se ejecute, seleccione la
opción Driver.
3.- En la pantalla de Bienvenida, seleccione Next para continuar.

4.- La instalación comienza. Es posible que durante el proceso
aparezca un mensaje de advertencia acerca del logotipo de
Windows, simplemente presione Continuar, de otra forma la
instalación se cancelará.
5.- Presione Finalizar para concluir el proceso de instalación de
drivers.
6.- Conecte la cámara Web a un puerto USB disponible de la
computadora.

7.- El sistema detecta el nuevo hardware y se inicia el Asistente
para Hardware Nuevo.
8.- Seleccione la opción No por el momento, y presione
Siguiente para continuar.
9.- En la siguiente ventana, seleccione Instalar automáticamente
el software (recomendado), y presione Siguiente para continuar.
10.- El sistema comienza la actualización. Es posible que
durante la instalación de la cámara aparezca un mensaje de
advertencia acerca del logotipo de Windows, simplemente
presione Continuar. De otra forma la instalación no se realizará
correctamente.

11.- Presione Finalizar. La cámara está correctamente instalada.
Para salir de la ventana de instalación inicial presione la X,
localizada en la esquina superior derecha.

CÓMO COLOCAR LA CÁMARA
La cámara puede colocarse de dos maneras diferentes,
mediante la base o mediante el clip.
Si utiliza la base podrá colocarla en un escritorio. Si prefiere
utilizar el clip, podrá colocarla en la pantalla de LCD de la
computadora.
USANDO LA CÁMARA WEB POR PRIMERA VEZ
1.- Ejecute el programa AMCAP.exe (Inicio >> Programas >> PC
Camera >> Amcap).
2.- Se abre una ventana y aparece la imagen en tiempo real
enviada desde su cámara.
Puede utilizar la cámara Web con los programas de
mensajería más comerciales del mercado.
Presione el botón frontal para tomar fotografías fijas.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship and materials
to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1.- This warranty card with all the required information, invoice or purchase ticket, product box or
package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2.- If the product stills on the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3.- The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was received.
4.- Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accesories to costumer, as well as warranty

THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:

contra cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente ésta póliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso
sin ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir de la recepción
del producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer
válida esta garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARA EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrónica
Steren S.A. de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde
adquirió el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su
proveedor para que le expida otra póliza de garantía, previa presentación de la nota de compra o
factura respectiva.
