IMPORTANTE
• No use ni almacene este equipo en lugares donde existan goteras o salpicaduras
de agua. Puede causar un mal funcionamiento o choque eléctrico.
• No coloque objetos pesados sobre el equipo, ni sobre sus accesorios.
• No exponga el equipo a temperaturas extremas.
• Compruebe que la electricidad en el lugar donde quiere instalar el Router es
estable.
• La electricidad inestable puede provocar averías en el router o dañarla
gravemente.
• No exponga el equipo ni sus accesorios al polvo, humo o vapor.
•El router de doble banda de transmisión puede funcionar también como
punto de acceso y repetidor de señal, con la capacidad de trabajar de forma
simultánea en las dos bandas o frecuencias (2,4 GHz y 5,8 GHz) sin disminuir
su tasa de transferencia y ancho de banda, gracias a su diseño con 2 antenas
de transmisión y recepción por banda.
• Tiene jacks RJ45 para ser usado con cables si es necesario, y para la función
de punto de acceso, cumple con los protocolos estándar de autentificación y
seguridad, con botón para activar/desactivar función WPS.
• Puede usarse para compartir una conexión de Internet e interconectarse con
dispositivos de menor velocidad o estándar anteriores.

1. Conecte el puerto WAN del ruteador al puerto LAN del módem usando un
cable Ethernet.
2. Conecte la computadora a cualquier puerto LAN del ruteador.
3. Inserte el adaptador de corriente al ruteador y a un tomacorriente. Encienda
el ruteador.
4. Apague el módem por al menos 15 segundos y vuelva a encenderlo.

1. Configure la dirección IP de la red como “Automática” siguiendo la secuencia
de imágenes que se muestra a continuación:

2. Abra su navegador y escriba la dirección “192.168.1.1” para entrar a la
configuración.
4. En la parte inferior puede asignar un nombre (SSID) y contraseña (Password)
para las redes de 2,4 y 5,8 GHz. Los nombres predeterminados son: steren_2_4G
y steren_5G, la contraseña por defecto es: password.
3. En la parte superior, seleccione el tipo de conexión a Internet (DHCP, Static o
PPPoE). Si necesita ayuda, póngase en contacto con su proveedor de servicio.

fábrica.
5. Si necesita entrar a la configuración avanzada, presione el botón “Advanced”.

PÓLIZA DE GARANTÍA
Esta póliza garantiza el producto por el término de un año en todas sus partes y mano de obra, contra
cualquier defecto de fabricación y funcionamiento, a partir de la fecha de entrega.
CONDICIONES
1.- Para hacer efectiva la garantía, presente esta póliza y el producto, en donde fue adquirido o en
Electrónica Steren S.A. de C.V.
2.- Electrónica Steren S.A de C.V. se compromete a reparar el producto en caso de estar defectuoso sin
ningún cargo al consumidor. Los gastos de transportación serán cubiertos por el proveedor.
3.- El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días, contados a partir de la recepción del
producto en cualquiera de los sitios donde pueda hacerse efectiva la garantía.
4.- El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer válida esta
garantía es en cualquiera de las direcciones mencionadas posteriormente.
ESTA PÓLIZA NO SE HARÁ EFECTIVA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1.- Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2.- Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.
3.- Cuando el producto ha sido alterado o reparado por personal no autorizado por Electrónica Steren S.A.
de C.V.
El consumidor podrá solicitar que se haga efectiva la garantía ante la propia casa comercial donde adquirió
el producto. Si la presente garantía se extraviara, el consumidor puede recurrir a su proveedor para que le
expida otra póliza, previa presentación de la nota de compra o factura respectiva.

• Do not use or store this equipment in places where there are dripping or
splashing of water. It may cause electric shock or malfunction.
• Do not place heavy objects on the device or its accessories.

• Verify that the electricity in the place where you want to install the
Router unit is stable.
• Unstable electricity can cause damage to the unit or cause serious
damage.
• Do not expose the device or its accessories to dust, smoke or steam.
•The double band router can be used as access point and signal repeater,
and it works in two frequencies (2.4GHz and 5.8 GHz) at the same time.
• It has two antennas for signal reception and other two for signal transmission,
per band. It includes RJ45 jacks in case you need to plug in cables, and
for the access point function supports authentication and security standard
protocols, also, it includes a WPS button.
• It can share an internet connection and interconnect it with devices with less
speed or older standards.

HARDWARE
1. Connect the WAN port on the router to the LAN port of the modem using an
Ethernet cable.
2. Connect the computer to any LAN port on the router.
3. Insert the power adapter to the router and an electrical outlet. Turn on the
router.
4. Turn off the modem for at least 15 seconds and then turn it on again.

4. At the bottom you can assign a name (SSID) and password for 2.4 and 5.8
GHz networks. The default names are: steren_2_4G and steren_5G, the default
password is: password.
2. Open your browser and enter the address “192.168.1.1” to enter the
configuration.
3. At the top, select the type of connection to the Internet (DHCP, Static, or
PPPoE). If you need assistance, please contact your service provider.

5. If you need to go to advanced settings, press the “Advanced” button.
To return to the factory configuration, with the router on, press and
hold the “Default” button on the back for 10 seconds, then release it. The
router will reboot with the default settings.

WARRANTY
This Steren product is warranted under normal usage against defects in workmanship
and materials to the original purchaser for one year from the date of purchase.
CONDITIONS
1. This warranty card with all the required information, invoice, product box or
package, and product, must be presented when warranty service is required.
2. If the product is in the warranty time, the company will repair it free of charge.
3. The repairing time will not exceed 30 natural days, from the day the claim was
received.
4. Steren sell parts, components, consumables and accessories to customer, as well
as warranty service, at any of the addresses mentioned later.
THIS WARRANTY IS VOID IN THE NEXT CASES:
If the product has been damaged by an accident, acts of God, mishandling, leaky
batteries, failure to follow enclosed instructions, improper repair by unauthorized
personnel, improper safe keeping, among others.
a) The consumer can also claim the warranty service in the purchase establishment.
b) If you lose the warranty card, we can reissue it, if you show the invoice or purchase
ticket.
