3. El tiempo de reparación en ningún caso será mayor a 30 días contados a partir de la recepción del producto en cualquiera de los sitios en donde pueda hacerse efectiva la
garantía.
4. El lugar donde puede adquirir partes, componentes, consumibles y accesorios, así como hacer válida esta garantía es: En cualquiera de las direcciones arriba mencionadas.
ESTA GARANTIA NO ES VALIDA EN LOS SIGUIENTES CASOS:
1. Cuando el producto ha sido utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales.
2. Cuando el producto no ha sido operado de acuerdo con el instructivo de uso.

Antes de utilizar su nuevo Ruteador Inalámbrico lea este instructivo
para evitar cualquier mal funcionamiento. Guárdelo para futuras
referencias.
El nuevo ruteador inalámbrico cumple con los protocolos estándar
IEEE802.11g / IEEE802.11b / IEEE802.3 / IEEE802.3u, Maneja los
protocolos TCP/IP, PPPoE, DHCP, ICMP, NAT y SNTP, tiene 4 puertos
LAN y 1 WAN.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
Cuenta con 1 puerto 10/100M de auto-negociación WAN RJ45, 4 puertos
10/100M de auto-negociación LAN RJ45 soporta MDI/MDIX (Interfase
para Múltiples Documentos)
Cuenta con la tecnología de transmisión inalámbrica de rango extendido
de 2x a 3x
Comparte el acceso a Internet con la transmisión de datos, se conecta a

INSTALACIÓN
1.- Apague su computadora, el Modem de Cable/DSL y el ruteador.
2.- Localice el lugar óptimo para colocar el ruteador. Normalmente el
mejor lugar para colocarlo es en medio de las computadoras o cerca de la
computadora que se va a utilizar.
3.- Ajuste la posición de la antena.
4.- Conecte las computadoras y cada HUB de su red LAN a los puertos
LAN del ruteador.
5.- Conecte el cable de Internet al puerto WAN del ruteador.
6.- Inserte el adaptador de corriente en el ruteador y enchúfelo a un
tomacorriente casero o de oficina. El ruteador se enciende
automáticamente.
7.- Encienda su computadora y el Modem DSL/Cable.
8.- Cuando la computadora haya iniciado completamente,
asegúrese de que los LED's indicadores del ruteador
enciendan correctamente:
Encendido: Encendido

Before using your new 54Mbps Wireless Router please read this
instruction manual to prevent any damage. Put them away in a safe
place for future references.
The new wireless router accomplish with data link protocol IEEE 802.11b,
IEEE 802.11g, IEEE802.3 / IEEE802.3u. Supports TCP / IP, PPPoE,
DHCP, ICMP, NAT and SNTP. It counts with one WAN port and four LAN
ports.

INSTALLATION
1.- Power off the computer, Cable/DSL Modem and the router.
2.- Locate an optimum location for the router. Usually the best place is in
the middle of the computers that you want to use.
3.- Adjust the direction of the antenna.
4.- Connect the computers and each HUB on your LAN to the LAN ports
on the router.
5.- Connect the DSL/Cable - Modem/Ethernet to WAN port on the
router.
6.- Connect the AC power adaptor to the router and plug to an AC
household outlet. The device will start to work automatically.
7.- Power on the computer and DSL/Cable modem.
8.- When all of devices boot up completely, make sure that the router's
LED light as follow:

ACCESANDO AL RUTEADOR
Para acceder al ruteador, debe configurar el protocolo TCP/IP en el modo
de Obtener una dirección IP automáticamente en su computadora.
1.- Acceda al ruteador tecleando http://192.168.1.1 en el campo de
dirección Web de Windows Explorer o Netscape Navigator (Fig. 1).
2.- Después de un instante, una ventana de inicio aparece. Introduzca la
palabra admin para el usuario y la contraseña, presione OK (Fig. 2).
3.- Si el usuario y la contraseña son correctas, puede configurar el
ruteador utilizando el navegador Web. Presione sobre la liga de Quick
Setup localizado a la izquierda del menú principal, una pantalla de
bienvenida aparecerá. Presione Next para continuar (Fig. 3).
4.- El ruteador soporta tres tipos de conexión a Internet. Seleccione el que
sea compatible con su proveedor de Internet. Presione Next en caso de
que requiera configurar los parámetros de red.
5.- Una vez que ha completado la configuración de parámetros, presione
Next, en pantalla aparece el menú de ajuste Inalámbrico (Fig. 4).

LOGIN TO THE ROUTER
To login to the router, you should set up the TCP/IP protocol in Obtain an
IP address automatically mode on the computer.
1.- Login to the router typing http://192.168.1.1 in the address field of the
Web Browser (Windows Explorer or Netscape Navigator) (Fig. 1).
2.- In a few seconds, a login window appears. Type the word admin on the
User Name and Password fields, press OK (Fig. 2).
3.- If the User Name and the Password are correct, you can configure the
router using the Web Browser. Press on Quick Setup link located on the
left side of the main menu. The Quick Setup screen appears. Press Next
to continue (Fig. 3).
4.- The router supports three popular ways to connect to Internet. Select
one compatible way in according to your ISP. Press Next in case that you
need to configure network parameters.
5.- After you complete the parameters setting, press Next, on screen
appears the Wireless settings page (Fig. 4).

6.- En este menú, podrá configurar los siguientes parámetros:
Wireless Radio: Indica si la característica de Access Point está habilitada
o deshabilitada. Si está deshabilitada, los LEDs indicadores WLAN no se
encenderán y las estaciones inalámbricas no podrán acceder al ruteador.
SSID: Introduzca un valor de hasta 32 caracteres. El mismo SSID debe
ser asignado a todos los dispositivos inalámbricos en la red. El SSID por
omisión es TP-LINK.
Region: Seleccione la región en donde va a utilizar el ruteador.
Channel: Este campo determina qué frecuencia será utilizada.
Mode: Indica el modo actual.
7.- Presione Next para continuar.
8.- Para concluir con la configuración, presione Finish (Fig. 5).
Notas:
Esta configuración incluye solamente los ajustes básicos.
Si no aparece la ventana de inicio, probablemente su navegador Web está
configurado como Proxy. Abra el menú de Opciones de Internet /
Conexiones / Ajustes de Red, y deseleccione la opción de Using Proxy,
presione OK para realizar los cambios.

6.- In this menu, you can configure the following parameters:
Wireless Radio: indicates whether the Access Point feature of the router
is enabled or disabled. If it's disabled the WLAN LED on the front panel will
not be light and the wireless stations will not be able to access the router.
SSID: Enter a value of up to 32 characters. The same SSID must be
assigned to all wireless devices on the network. The pre-established SSID
is TP-LINK.
Region: Select the region where you want to use the router.
Channel: This field determines which operating frequency will be used.
Mode: Indicates the current mode.
7.- Press Next to continue.
8.- To conclude the configuration, press Finish (Fig. 5).
Notes:
This configuration includes basic settings only.
If the Login Window does not prompt, it means that your web-browser has
been set to a Proxy. Go to Tools Menu/ Internet Options/ Connections /
LAN settings and cancel the Using Proxy checkbox, click OK to finish it.
