The Stirling®Chrome Wall Fan is intended for the cooling or ventilation
of a room/s. The large blades move the air around the room to create
a current of air.
Only use the wall fan as described in the instruction manual. Any other
use will be deemed as not in accordance with the instructions and may
lead to damage of property and/or persons.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage caused by the use of
the wall fan not in accordance with the instructions.
Indoor domestic use only: This appliance is intended for indoor
domestic use only. Do not use it indoors, where aerosol (spray)
products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.

• The fan must not be used if the guards are not fastened according to
instructions.
• When the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in
order to avoid a hazard.
• Do not use your appliance with an extension cord unless it has been
checked and tested by a qualified electrician or electrical supplier.
• To prevent fire or electric shock hazard, DO NOT expose this
appliance to rain or moisture.
• WARNING: Dangerous high voltages are present inside the
motor enclosure.
• To avoid electric shock, DO NOT open the motor enclosure. Refer all
servicing to qualified personnel only.
• Ensure the fan is not placed near drapes, curtains, or any objects
that may be drawn into the fan.
• To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not
immerse the unit, plug or cord in water or spray it with liquids.
• The fan must not be exposed to dripping or splashing and objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, should never be placed near the
product.
• No naked flame sources, such as candles, should be placed near the
product.
• Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation
openings. Slots and openings are provided for ventilation to ensure
reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating.
• Only connect to a suitable AC 220-240V~50Hz mains socket.
• Do not operate fan in the presence of flammable liquid.
• Do not place the fan or any parts near an open flame, cooking or
other heating appliance.
• Do not operate the fan with a damaged cord or plug, after a
malfunction or if it has been dropped or damaged in any manner.

Assembly
NOTE: This unit is ONLY to be mounted to a solid wall i.e.: concrete,
brick, solid wood.
CAUTION: The mounting plate (12) is not designed to be fitted
to a cavity wall i.e.: plaster cavity walls or walls that contain cables
and/or pipes.
If you are unsure or not confident in mounting this fan please seek the
assistance of a qualified individual.
1. Place the mounting plate (12) on the wall and mark out the three hole
positions using a pencil. Remove the mounting plate (12) and drill
pilot holes.
Concrete/Solid Brick Wall
Drill pilot holes of 6mm diameter and 30mm depth. Wedge the three
wall plugs into the pilot holes. Holding the mounting plate (12) to the
wall, screw the mounting plate (12) onto the wall with the three
screws provided. Insert each screw through the holes in the
mounting plate (12) then screw into the wall plugs to tighten (Fig. 1).

Before using for the first time
Before using the Wall Fan for the first time, read all instructions
carefully and keep them for future reference.

Solid Wooden Wall
Drill pilot holes of 2.5mm diameter and 30mm depth. Holding the
mounting plate (12) to the wall, screw the mounting plate (12) onto
the wall with the three screws provided. Insert each screw through
the holes in the mounting plate (12) then screw until tightened (Fig. 1).
Mounting
1. Take the fan body (motor shaft with base) (6,9), rear guard (4) and
blade (2). Loosen and remove the 4 screws (3) on the motor, place
the rear guard (4) onto the motor shaft (5) and align screw holes.
Replace and tighten the 4 screws.
2. Slide the blade (2) on the motor shaft (5), fix the blade on the
motor shaft (5) with the screw on the blade (2).
3. Open the guard clips (14) outwards on the edge of front guard (1)
and loosen the nut and screw (10,11) on the bottom, align holes with
rear guard (4) and join together using nut and screw. Close the other
guard clips (14) to secure the rear guard (4).
5. Place the wall fan on the mounting plate (12) (Fig. 2) which you
installed in Step 1.

Wind Speeds
The fan is equipped with 3 different wind speeds - Low, Medium and High.
Low Speed: The fan blades will rotate at a low speed.
Medium Speed: The fan blades will rotate at a medium speed.
High Speed: The fan blades will rotate at a high speed.
Wind Modes
The fan is equipped with 3 different wind modes – Normal, Natural and Sleep.
Press the MODE (3) button on the remote control or switch panel (9), you can
select 3 kinds of wind. The indicator light on the switch panel will display which
mode is selected.
Sleep mode: The airflow from the fan will decrease and the speed will lower.
Normal mode: The fan will continue at a constant speed.
Natural mode: The fan speed will vary to replicate a varying breeze.

Using the Timer Function
The timer function will automatically turn the fan off when a specific time frame
is selected. Whilst the unit is on, press the TIMER (5) button on the remote
control or switch panel (6), the timer function will turn on to 30mins. Each
additional press of the button will add 30mins onto the timer up until 7.5hrs is
reached. The timer function will turn off if you press timer button again after the
timer reaches 7.5hrs.

Please note: The timer function only allows the fan to turn off at a set time not
to turn on at a time in the future.
Swing/Oscillation
Press the SWING (4) button on switch panel (8) or remote control to allow the
unit to swing/oscillate from side to side. Press again to cancel this function.

WARNING: If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.

Cleaning / Maintenance Instructions
Disposal Information
1. Switch off fan, turn power off and unplug from outlet.
2. Use a screwdriver to unscrew the small screw at the bottom of the
guards, and then open the guard clips. The front guard will then
separate from the rear guard. Use a mild detergent to clean the
blade and guards. Then replace front guard, snapping the guard
clips onto the rear guard.
WARNING: Avoid allowing the cleanser to come in contact with
the motor winding or bearing.
CAUTION: All parts must be completely dry before next use.
3. Please add a lubricant oil into Motor shaft after cleaning.
4. Reference assembly drawing and parts list on Features page of this
instruction manual. Save these important instructions.
Correct disposal of this product
This Wheeled Bin symbol indicates that this product should not
be disposed of with other household wastes. To prevent
possible harm to the environment or human health from
uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote
the sustainable recycling of material resources. Contact your
local authority for recycling facilities in your area.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries must not be
disposed of with household waste!
Every consumer is required by law to bring all batteries and
rechargeable batteries, regardless whether they contain
harmful substances*) or not, to a collection point run by the
communal authority or borough or to a retailer, so that they
can be disposed of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Please only turn in batteries and rechargeable batteries which
are empty! *) labelled with: Cd = cadmium, Pb = lead, Hg = mercury,
