The STREET SURFER is a fun and innovative personal transportation device (PTD). Read
these guidelines in its entirety, including the warnings portion of this manual, prior to
riding the STREET SURFER for the first time.

PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE USER MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING your
STREET SURFER. THIS MANUAL INCLUDES USEFUL TIPS AND TRICKS
FOR USING THE STREET SURFER AS WELL AS IMPORTANT SAFETY
INFORMATION.
FOR AGES 10 YEARS AND OLDER
The STREET SURFER is only for users
who are aged 10 years and older. This
device requires coordination, agility,
and balance. Use your best judgment to
determine if an individual is adequately
physically fit and coordinated to use the
STREET SURFER safely.
MAX WEIGHT: 250LBS (110KG)
Do not exceed the maximum weight when
operating the STREET SURFER as this could
lead to damage or failure of the device and
may result in personal injury.
MIN WEIGHT: 45LBS (20KG)
The STREET SURFER is not to be used by
individuals weighing less than 45lbs. The
STREET SURFER sensors are designed for
individuals weighing 45lbs or more, these
sensors may respond incorrectly to
individuals weighing less than 45lbs which
can result in serious personal injury.
CLOTHING & FOOTWEAR
Wear comfortable clothing and athletic
shoes with a closed toe. Do not wearopen
toe shoes, sandals, or high-heel shoes
when operating the STREET SURFER. Do
not wear loose fitting clothing as this may
snag on passingobjects.
PROTECTIVE GEAR
For your safety always wear a helmet and
protective gear such as elbow pads and knee
pads when operating theSTREET SURFER.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Always operate the STREET SURFER on a
smooth indoor surface or outside on flat
surface in optimal weather conditions
(sunny, dry). Do not operate the STREET
SURFER in wet conditions, do not navigate
through puddles and avoid all contact with
water.
Avoid using the STREET SURFER in areas
with debris, obstacles or slippery surfaces as
these conditions can lead to losing control of
the device possibly resulting in personal
injury.
DRUGS & ALCOHOL
Do not operate the STREET SURFER under
the influence of alcohol or drugs, including
prescription medications.
INSPECTION
Prior to each use inspect the STREET
SURFER and ensure it has been maintained
correctly and is functioning properly. Do
not operate the STREET SURFER with low
battery as the device may lose power
resulting in loss of control and potential
injury to therider.
Keep the STREET SURFER sufficiently charged,
as drainingthebatterybeyond the lowbattery
threshold may result in draining the battery
beyonda point which it canbe charged.
MODIFICATIONS
Any attempt to modify or replace the
STREET SURFER unit or any components
of the unit, this will void any warranty
and can lead to malfunctions which may
cause personal injury.

SET UP & CHARGING:
1.
Remove the STREET SURFER, Battery Charger and Power Cord from the productpackaging.
2.
Connect the Power Cord to the BatteryCharger.
3.
Insert the Power Cord into an electricitysocket and then into the charging port
found next to the STREET SURFER power button.
4.
Charge the STREET SURFER for a minimum of 2-3 hours before first use. Do not leave
charger plugged in for more than 3 hours.
6.
Recharge the STREET SURFER after eachuse.
BATTERY INDICATOR LED LIGHT
The Battery Indicator LED Light is found on top of the STREET SURFER. Use this light to
determine the remaining charge of theSTREET SURFER.
A GREEN light indicates the STREET SURFER is fully charged or sufficiently charged for use.
A RED light indicates the remaining battery level is below 10% and requires charging.
When the battery level is low the STREET SURFER will also beep to alert the rider to
stop and charge the unit.
STORING:
If you do not use the STREET SURFER on a regular basis be sure to store it is fully charged and
charge it occasionally so the battery does not drain completely.

This product contains chemicals, including lead, known to the state of California to cause
cancer, birth defects or other reproductiveharm.
WARNING! THE CELLS WITHIN THE BATTERY PACKS CONTAIN TOXIC
SUBSTANCES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN BATTERY PACKS. DO NOT USE
THE BATTERY PACK IF ITS CASING IS BROKEN OR IF IT EMITS AN
UNUSUAL ODOR OR EXCESSIVE HEAT OR LEAKS ANY SUBSTANCE. DO
NOT HANDLE A DAMAGED OR LEAKING BATTERY PACK. DO NOT
OVERCHARGE THE BATTERY. DO NOT CHARGE FOR MORE THAN 3 HOURS

GETTING ON AND OFF YOUR STREET SURFER
The STREET SURFER is not a directional PTD it actually works in both directions. IT IS THERE
FORE EXTREMEELY IMPORTANT: You must take caution getting on and off the STREET SURFER by
always stepping forward when getting on the STREET SURFER and always step backward when
getting off the STREET SURFER, getting on or off the STREET SURFER in any other manner may
result in a fall and personal injury. If you feel that you need assistance getting on and off of your
STREET SURFER after reading the following, we would recommend holding onto something
stationary for assistance.
Getting ON the STREET SURFER:
1. Place the STREET SURFER on level ground in front of you.
2. Turn the STREET SURFER on and make sure the Battery Level Light is green (indicating
the unit is charged).
3. Placeyour footlightly onto theSTREET SURFER. (If you skate, we recommend your standing foot
not your kicking foot)
4. Stabilize the STREET SURFER by finding the correct balance with yourfoot.
5. Once you have stabilized the STREET SURFER step up with even distribution of weight,
like you are trying to balance on one foot and quickly bring your other foot onto the
STREET SURFER.
6.
RELAX and let the STREET SURFER balance itself.
Getting OFF the STREET SURFER:
1. Bring the STREET SURFER to a completestop.
2. Lift one foot, while balancing on the other to prevent the STREET SURFER from moving
backward.
3. Step backward with that foot and place it on the ground.
4. Once you have stable footing on the ground take your other foot off the STREET
SURFER. Youshould now be safely on stableground.
Now that you are Comfortable
getting on and off:
STANDING
You should stand in the most neutral
position on your STREET SURFER.
Standing too far forward or backward
may result in loss of control, falling, or
personalinjury. While getting
comfortable it is recommended that you
stand with the outside of your feet
touching the inner walls of the STREET
SURFER platform

RIDING THE STREET SURFER:
We always say that it is like the STREET SURFER knows what you are thinking. It is
extremely intuitive and you will find out quickly that it is better to let the technology do
what it is supposed to or you may end up injured. It is recommended that once you are
comfortable standing still you just start to think about what you want to do next and let
STREET SURFER work for you.
Forward –Gently lean forward with equal downward pressure on both balls of your
feet to instruct the STREET SURFER to moveforward.
Backward –Gently lean backwardwith equal downward pressure on both heels of your
feet to instruct the STREET SURFER to movebackward.
Gaining Speed - Continue to apply more pressure in either a forward or backward motion.
Remember the board doesn’t know which way you are riding it because there is true front or
back.
Right Turn–While goingforward, left heel comes up and right heel goes down. to instruct the
STREET SURFER to turn right.
Left Turn –While going forward, right heel comes up and left heel goes down, to instruct the
STREET SURFER to turnleft.
IMPORTANT: Accelerate and decelerate at a safe speed. Accelerating or decelerating
quickly may result in loss of control, balance and potential injury.
Do not ride over cracks, down steps or raised bumps.
Always be aware of the terrain you are riding on.
Never Jump and keep your feet firmly planted on the board’s platform.

GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR STREET SURFER
Maximum Speed
The STREET SURFER has a maximum of 8 mph (10 km/h) MPH. The STREET SURFER will
beep when it has reached the max speed of 8 mph warning you of your speed. Be careful
when operating the STREET SURFER at high speeds, riders should wear protective gear and
be very careful of their surroundings.
Range
The range of the STREET SURFER is dependent upon the way you use it.
The battery will run out more quickly if you ride at higher speeds and/or up or down an
incline. Keeping a consistent speed on flat surfaces will prolong the riding time.
Battery & Charging
Be sure to completely charge the battery before riding the scooter. Avoid charging the
battery in high temperature as well as avoid overcharging or over discharging. These steps
will prolong the battery life.
Maintenance
Regularly check the wheels and tires. Shake the tire in the direction of the wheel shaft to
ensure that it has not become loose. If loose you may tighten the screws. When cleaning
the scooter make sure that the unit is turned off and not plugged into the charger. Wipe
clean with a soft cloth. Do not use high pressure water or steam to clean your scooter.
Surroundings
Be mindful of your speed and surroundings for your own safety and also the safety of
those around you. Always yield the right of way to pedestrians. The Balancing Scooter is
not intended to be a motorized road vehicle. Please do not ride on public highways or
streets. Do not use in rain or damp conditions. The scooters are not water proof.
Laws & Regulations
You must obey all local laws and regulation. Local laws may dictate protective gear and
operational requirements. Follow all applicable laws both personal transportation and
pedestrian.

WARRANTY
This STREET SURFER is warranted to be free of defects of material or workmanship for 90
Days from the date of original retail purchase. This warranty extends to the original
purchaser with proof of purchase. If any component of this product proves defective,
repair or replacement with the same or equivalent product will be made without charge.
Warranties do not apply when products are not used in accordance with the included
instruction manual, or in cases of misuse or abuse.
