SWBJ21 Series Instruction
*IMPORTANT: The Disable Pin (attached to the wrist strap) must be inserted into the bottom
of the unit in order for the stun to operate. The alarm and light will both function without the Safety Pin inserted.
CHARGING THE BATTERIES
1. The rechargeable batteries are already installed. The unit cannot be opened, as this will void the warranty.
2. Before use, the stun gun will need to be charged for 8 hours. Insert the slide-out plug on the bottom of the unit into a standard
outlet. The Charging Indicator Light (#8) will come on while charging. IMPORTANT: Do not charge for more than 8 hours at a
time. Overcharging can damage the unit and void the warranty. Under normal use the unit will need to be recharged for 8
hours every 60 days. If the LED Flashlight is used frequently or if the electrical charge produced by the stun gun becomes
noticeably weaker, the unit will need to be recharged.
USING THE FLASHLIGHT
1. Slide the Safety/Function Switch located on the side of the unit up to the top position to turn on the LED Flashlight. **Be
careful**, if the Disable Pin (#9) is inserted into the bottom of the unit, the stun will work if the Stun Trigger (#6) is pressed.
2. Slide the Safety/Function Switch back down to the middle position to turn off the light.
TESTING THE STUN GUN
(WARNING: Do not test fire the stun gun for more than 1 second as this will damage the unit and void the warranty.)
1. Insert the disable pin (attached to the wrist strap) into the bottom of the unit.
2. Slide the Safety/Function Switch (#5) located on the side of the unit up to the top position. The flashlight will come on and the
Stun Warning Light (#4) will illuminate.
3. Press the Squeeze-N-Stun Trigger (#6) located on the side of the unit to test the stun gun. You will both see and hear an
electrical charge fire across the top of the unit between the Stun Contact Probes (#1). When test firing the unit, do not hold the
button down for more than 1 second.
4Slide the Safety/Function Switch back down to the middle position to turn the safety back on.
USING THE ALARM
Slide the Safety/Function Switch located on the side of the unit down to the bottom position. The alarm will come on. Slide switch
back to the middle positon to turn the alarm off.

USING THIS PRODUCT IN SELF DEFENSE
1. When carrying this unit, we recommend using the Wrist Strap. The Wrist Strap is attached to
a disable pin that will prevent an attacker from taking the stun gun away and using it on you. If
the stun gun is taken away from you the pin will pull out, preventing it from working.
2. At night we recommend using the flash light (slide the Safety/Function Switch up to the top
position) and shining it in the direction of anyone you think might be a threat.
3. If the person continues coming closer and you feel threatened, you can sound the alarm by
sliding the Safety/Function Switch down to the bottom position. This should summon help and
scare away the threat.
4. If you need to use the stun gun to protect yourself, slide the Safety/Function Switch to the top
position. Touch your assailant’s body with the Contact Probes and squeeze the unit firmly to press in the Squeeze-N-Stun
Trigger.
5. Touching anywhere on the assailant’s body will have an effect; however, the maximum effect is achieved in the areas show to
the right:
6. When touching the assailant’s body, you will not see or hear the electrical charge as you do when the unit is test fired. You
can hold down the Squeeze-N-Stun trigger for more than 1 second, as this will not damage the unit, as it will when being test
fired.
7. You do not have to be concerned about the effects of the charge being transferred to you. Even if the assailant touches you
while being stunned, you will not feel the effects of the charge.
EFFECTS OF THE UNIT ON AN ASSAILANT
1. Touching an assailant for less than 1 second will cause minor muscle contractions and have a repelling effect.
2. Touching an assailant for 1 to 2 seconds will cause muscle spasms and a dazed mental state.
3. Touching an assailant for 3 to 5 seconds will cause loss of balance and muscle control, total mental confusion, and
disorientation. All effects to the assailant are temporary; the stun gun can cause no permanent harm. (NOTE: The device
should not be used for longer than 5 seconds.)
WARRANTY
Cutting Edge Product, Inc. extends a lifetime warranty for defects in materials or workmanship, with the following exceptions:
1. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse, lack of reasonable care, damage from water
or moisture, the affixing of any attachment not provided with the product, loss of parts, or recharging the unit in any manner
not in accordance with the included instructions.
2. The warranty will be voided if the unit has been opened or tampered with in any way (unless by an authorized dealer) or if any
unauthorized replacement parts have been used.
NOTICE
Purchaser must check and abide by all local laws governing the possession and use of stun guns. In addition, the stun gun must
only be used in a lawful manner for self-defense. NOTE: Not to be used on children, persons with heart disease, or any vital part of
the human body. Not to be stored or used in environments where it is damp or humid or where there are extreme hot or cold
temperatures. Do not use on metal objects.
CONDITIONS OF SALE
Purchase of this product is an agreement by the purchaser/user to hold all sellers and manufacturers harmless of all liabilities and
damages.
TO OBTAIN SERVICE
Contact the Authorized Dealer from whom you purchased this unit for a Return Merchandise Authorization. The return unit must be
sent postage prepaid and proof of purchase is required. Damage or loss occurring during shipment is not covered by this warranty.

IMPORTANTE: El pin de Seguridad (añadido a la correa) debe estar conectado a la base

CARGANDO LAS BATERÍAS

sea intensa, la unidad debe ser recargada.
USANDO LA LINTERNA LED

está conectado unidad puede ser activada presionando el botón de activación (#6).

4. Deslice el interruptor de seguridad (#5) hacia el medio para activar el seguro.

medio para apagar la alarma.

USANDO LA UNIDAD EN DEFENSA PERSONAL
1. Recomendamos que use la correa de muñeca. Si el atacante le quita la unidad, el pin de
seguridad se desconecta y la unidad no puede ser usada en su contra.
2. Usando la linterna durante la noche (deslice el interruptor de seguridad hacia arriba) apunte
la linterna hacia cualquier individuo que usted crea que sea una amenaza.
3. Si la amenaza se acerca, usted puede activar la alarma deslizando el interruptor de
seguridad hacia abajo. Esto atrae atención y puede alejar la amenaza.
4. Si necesita usar la unidad para defenderse, deslice el interruptor hacia arriba. Toque el
individuo con los puntos de contacto y apriete el botón de activación firmemente.
5. Tocando el asaltante en cualquier parte del cuerpo tendrá efecto, pero el mayor efecto lo
tendrá tocando el asaltante en las partes que muestra la fotografía a la derecha.
6. Cuando toque el asaltante con la unidad, no podrá ver o escuchar la corriente eléctrica como cuando usted pruebe la unidad.
Tocando el asaltante usted podrá apretar el botón de activación entre 1 y 5 segundos ya que esto no dañará la unidad.
7. No se preocupe ya que los efectos de la corriente eléctrica no se transfieren a usted aun si el atacante le toca directamente
su cuerpo.
EFECTO DE LA UNIDAD AL ATACANTE
1. Tocando el atacante por menos de 1 segundo, causará contracciones musculares menores, y eso causará un efecto
repelente.
2. Tocando el atacante de 1 a 2 segundos causa espasmos musculares y mareos menores.
3. Tocando el atacante de 3 a 5 segundos causa perdida del balance y control muscular, confusión mental y desorientación.
Todos los efectos al atacante son temporarios; la unidad no causa daño permanente
(NOTA: La unidad no debe ser usada por más de 5 segundos.)
