sense heat or cold properly (e.g. persons with special needs, etc.), consult your
doctor prior to using the product!
7. Check your feet regularly for redness of the skin. Excessive heat levels over prolonged
periods of time can lead to burns.
8. If the heated sock is used in firmly closed or specially fitted footwear with a very narrow
shape, please make sure that the sock is not wrinkled in the area of the heating element.
This could result in painful pressure points.
9. Never use the heated sock in combination with other heated products (heated insole,
heated boot, etc.); there is a risk of excessive heat.
10. The heat should be switched off when entering an environment with a considerably
higher temperature.
11. Do not use the product for warming animals.
12. Check the product regularly for signs of wear or damage. If you notice any of these
signs, if the product was used improperly or if the product does not work, bring it back to
the dealer before using it again.
13. The lithium packs must only be used with compatible LENZ products!
14. Discharge and recharge the lithium packs half way every 6 months!
15. Only use the supplied USB charging cable (USB Charge Cord Type 1) to charge the

16. The lithium packs must not be charged or stored outside of the permitted ambient
temperature of +10°C to +30°C.
17. The lithium packs must not be discharged outside the permitted ambient temperature
of -20°C to +30°C.
18. Always store the lithium packs with the contact protector installed.
Format Anweisung: Nächste zwei HINWEISE FETT
19. When the lithium packs are not in use, keep them away from other metal objects

could form a connection between the contacts. Short-circuiting the connections
may cause burns or fire.
20. Do not charge or store the lithium packs near flammable substances!
21. Never try to open the lithium packs! Improper handling of the lithium-ion batteries can
lead to an explosion!

FIRST USE AND CHARGING
Important note:
Charge the lithium packs prior to their first use!
Charging procedure
1. Connect the USB charging cable (Fig. 2.1) with a USB power supply unit (5 V, 1 A, not included in
delivery) and plug the USB power supply unit into a socket. The charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will light up
green.
2. Remove the contact protector (Fig. 1.4) and connect both lithium packs to the charging plugs of the
charging cable (Fig. 2.3). Please refer to the diagram on the charging plugs for correct orientation. The
lithium packs can be charged in any operating mode.
3. The charging process starts after one-time operation of the control button (Fig. 1.3.).
4. The charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will light up red during the charging process.
5. Once the lithium packs are fully charged, the charging process automatically ends and the charge
indicator (Fig. 2.2) changes back to green.
6. The charging status can be monitored with the LEDs on the lithium pack, which light up successively as
the charge increases, or using the Lenz heat app* which offers convenient control.
7. After the end of the charging process, please disconnect both lithium packs from the charging plugs.
(Fig. 2.3)
Important note:
•Because naturally occurring minimal differences due to production can occur, the charge
indicator in the Lenz heat app* only serves as a general indicator.
•Charge the product after every use.
This helps extend the life of the lithium packs and ensures that the product is ready for use at any
time.
•The battery consists of lithium ion cells and can be charged in any state.
For this reason, the battery does not need to be fully discharged before charging.
•The full charging capacity of the product can only be conserved if the product is disconnected
from the charging plugs after the end of the charging process.

•When using the heated product, the optimal heating power is only produced when all heated products,
textiles and socks you are wearing are dry.
•Do not operate the device at the highest heating power for longer than several minutes.
•Always set the product to a low or medium heat output to maintain a comfortably warm temperature
(the heater should be virtually unnoticeable).
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
lithium pack rcB 1200 / lithium pack rcB 1800
Manual operation:
The lithium packs have 3 heating levels which are indicated by the heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) on the
lithium packs themselves.
Remote control:
When using remote control via the APP, the heat output can be set to one of 9 levels via the corresponding
controls in the APP.
USE AND FUNCTION
Turning on:
Turn on the product to the lowest heat setting by briefly pushing the control button (approximately 0.5
seconds) on the lithium pack (Fig. 1.3).
Setting the heat output:
This can be done by repeatedly pressing the function button on the lithium pack (Fig. 1.3), or using the
corresponding control in the APP when using remote control.
The respective heat level is indicated by the illumination of the heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) on the lithium
pack, or in the APP when using remote control.
Turning off:
Pressing the function button repeatedly turns the lithium pack off.
Note:
When using remote control, the APP must be closed to be able to turn off the lithium pack.
The lithium pack can still be turned on for 24 hours via the APP, but after that, only by pressing the button.

REMOTE CONTROL
The lithium packs rcB 1200 / lithium packs rcB 1800 can be controlled via the Lenz heat app* for
smartphones. The lithium packs must be in “Pairing Mode” to be able to couple them properly with the
smartphone.
Pairing Mode
Please switch the desired lithium packs to “Pairing Mode”. For this purpose, push the control button (Fig.
1.3.) for approx. 10 seconds until the heat setting displays (Fig. 1.2.) are blinking and then immediately
release the control button. The heat setting display in the middle is flashing constantly.
Note: The Pairing Mode remains active for 2 minutes! If no pairing takes place during this time, this
mode will end automatically!
*The optional Lenz heat app for convenient control is available for download via the Android Play Store and
the Apple Store.
HEATING POWER - HEATING PERIOD
For heating power and heating period data, please see the table on the product packaging. You can also
access the data online at www.lenzproducts.com
The heating period per charge depends on the selected heating level, the ambient temperature, the lithium
packs and the charge state as well as age of the lithium packs.

SERVICE, STORAGE AND CARE
To ensure a long life, we recommend storing the lithium packs in a cool room (see safety instructions) in a
half-charged state. Store the lithium packs turned off (the heat level display (Fig. 1.2) is dark) and
disconnected from the heatable textile as well as the charger.
Caution: Always store the lithium packs with the contact protector installed.
For long-term storage, the lithium packs should be discharged and recharged halfway at least every 6
months. This ensures that maximum performance is preserved for many years!
Clean the parts as needed with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent.
Caution: Always remove the charger from the outlet before cleaning it.
DISPOSAL
•Once the product has served its purpose, please dispose of it and its packaging appropriately and in an
environmentally friendly manner.
•Please do not dispose of the charger together with the household waste. Instead, bring the parts to a
collection site for electronic waste. (d)
•Take the lithium packs to the intended collection sites for used batteries. (e)
•Packaging materials are raw materials and can be recycled. For this reason, please recycle the
packaging.
•Please contact your local authority for more information.
