PREPARATION
Decarboxylation (Decarb) - What is it?
It is always recommended to decarb your botanical materials before
any infusion. Decarboxylation activates the cannabinoids, allowing the
botanical to reach maximum potency.
Smoking cannabis decarboxylates cannabinoids due to the extremely
high temperatures, making them instantly available for absorption
through inhalation. For making edibles, the first step prior to infusing is to
decarboxylate your botanical materials.
CONTROL PANEL

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Plug the unit in to power it up. The display will show ---- and the
light will be green.
2. Press the red Start/Stop button once and the display will show
1:00 (the default time) and the light will remain green. You can
press the time + or – buttons and set the time in 5 min increments
between 30 min and 4 hours.
3. If you press either the temp + or - button once it will show 250°F
(the default temperature) – you can set the temperature in 1
degree increments between 160°F and 250°F.
Pre-Heat Time: The time that is set includes a 20 min pre-heat time. So
if the unit is set for 1:00 hour, it will heat up for 20 min and cook
for 40 min. Always add 20 min to the amount of time you want to
actually decarb for so your herb cooks for the full amount of time.
Temperature Reading vs. Inside Canister: The digital temperature
shown on the display is showing the temperature from the
thermostat located in the bottom of the unit. The temperature
inside the container will be approx. 226°F when the thermostat
temperature on the digital display is 250F and approximately
243°F when the digital display is at 260°F.
4. Once both the temperature and time are set, press the red Start/
Stop button and the light will turn red indicating that the unit has
started working.
5. While the unit is in progress the light will remain red, the display
will show the time count down. If you would like to see the current
temperature of the unit, press the temp + button while it is in
process and the actual temp of the unit will display. The unit will
start at room temperature, so this may vary depending on the
temperature of the room.
6. Once the unit has run through the decarb cycle and the time is
at :00, the light will turn blue and the display will circle to indicate
that it is in cool down mode.
Note: For your safety it is HIGHLY recommended to wait for the cool
down mode to finish before opening the unit.

- 6 -
7. The cool down mode will be complete when the unit reaches
160°F (approximately 20-35 min, depending on what temperature
the cycle was run at). It will beep several times, the light will turn
green, and the display will return to ----.
Note: You may press the red button to stop the beeping, the display will
return to the default time. It is then safe to remove the lid.
Stopping the Unit Mid-Cycle
If at any time during the process you need to stop the unit, press the red
button for 3 seconds and the unit will reset itself. CAUTION: The unit is
still HOT, please wait for it to cool down before you touch it.
Note: The silicone cover that is on the thermostat at the bottom of
the unit should remain in place during use. It will protect the
container so it doesn’t get scratched and keep the unit quiet.
