When using this appliance, especially when children are present, these safety
precautions should always be followed:
DANGER — Electric parts within this appliance are electrically live even when
the switch is off.
WARNING — To reduce the risk of injury, burns, electrocution and fire:

DO NOT OPERATE APPLIANCE IF THE LINE CORD SHOWS ANY SIGNS OF DAMAGE, IF
APPLIANCE WORKS INTERMITTENTLY, OR IF APPLIANCE STOPS WORKING ENTIRELY.
• Always unplug the appliance immediately after using.
• Do not use appliance while bathing or showering.
• Never place or store appliance where it could fall or be pulled into tub or sink.
• Do not place in or drop into water or any other liquid.
• If for any reason the appliance makes contact with water, unplug the appliance
immediately and do not reach into water.
• Never pull or tug on the cord and/or the appliance.
• To insert plug, grasp it firmly and guide into outlet.
• To disconnect appliance, grasp plug firmly and remove from outlet.
• Before each use, inspect the cord for any cuts and/or abrasion marks.
If any imperfections are found, this indicates that the appliance and/or line
cord should be replaced.
• Never wrap the cord around the appliance, as this could result in damage to
the cord-appliance connection and could cause the cord to fray and break.
• Never leave appliance unattended while it is operating or plugged into outlet.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is being used by, on, or near
children or individuals with certain disabilities.
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Never operate this appliance if the cord or plug has been damaged, if it is not
working properly, if it has made contact with water, if it has been dropped
and/or damaged in any way.
• Never block the air openings of appliance or place the appliance on a soft surface;
such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked.
• Always keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and/or any other obstructions.
• Keep the cord away from hot or heated surfaces.
• Never wrap the cord around the appliance.
• Never use the appliance while drowsy or sleeping.
• Never drop or insert any object into any appliance opening.
• Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used.
• Do not operate where oxygen is being administered.
• Never use an extension cord in conjunction with this appliance.
• Do not direct hot air towards eyes or other heat-sensitive areas.
• Attachments will be hot during use; allow them to cool before handling.
• Never place appliance on any surface while it is operating or while switch is turned on.
• While using the appliance, keep your hair out of appliance and away from the air inlets.
To reduce the risk of death by electrical shock:
This appliance is intended for professional and household use. Use on Alternating Current
(60 hertz) only. Standard dryers are designed to operate at 110 to 130 volts A.C.
This Hot Body Voluminous Dryer Brush is not dual voltage.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety
feature, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully
into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
HOT BODY — VOLUMINOUS DRYER BRUSH
• This appliance is designed with a protective coating around the heating coils. When
operating the first few times, you may notice momentary smoking when turning unit
off. This represents no danger to the user and does not indicate a defect in the unit.
The smoke should dissipate within a short time.
• Never block the air intake grill, as this will cause the unit to overheat. Should this
happen, a built-in safety system will operate, and the unit will be shut off automatically.
Turn the unit OFF and clear any obstruction from the air intake grill. Wait 10 minutes
before operating the appliance. If the appliance has sustained damage, do not try to
repair it. See warranty for further instructions.
• Never touch heating section as it may be hot and can burn you.
• To avoid possible scalp and/or hair burns, use HIGH setting only when hair is
wet. Reduce to LOW heat setting as the hair dries.
• To extend the life of this appliance, it is recommended to switch it to the LOW setting
for a few seconds before shutting the appliance off.
• Untwist the cord from time to time to avoid tangling and/or damage to cord.
• In the event that the appliance stops during use, turn off the switches, and allow the
appliance to cool down, at which time the thermostat will automatically reset.
• During use, do not block the air openings.
1. To turn ON, toggle Speed/ON/OFF switch downwards once for low speed and twice for
high speed setting.
2. Three heat settings are available and can be adjusted by toggling the Heat switch to desired
position.
3. For bursts of cold air, press and hold the Cold shot button.
4. To turn OFF, toggle Speed/ON/OFF switch upwards to “0” position.
5. Unplug appliance cord from outlet after each use and let appliance cool down before storing.
1. Press the RESET button on the ALCI safety device.
2. Plug your ALCI into an AC outlet, and then press the TEST button.
3. The RESET button will pop out. This verifies the safety device is operating
properly. If the RESET button does not pop out, do not use the unit.
4. Press the RESET button to reactivate the ALCI safety device and
the appliance is now ready to use.
Repeat this procedure every time you use this appliance
to confirm that the safety device is ready and operational.

The ALCI safety device in this unit is built into the plug. This device will make it inoperable
under some abnormal conditions, such as accidental immersion in water. If the appliance is
immersed in water, do not attempt to reset the ALCI safety device. The ALCI safety device
is equipped with a test button so that its operation can be checked.
• Ensure the switch is set to OFF before plugging the appliance into an electrical outlet
and adjust the switch to the selected setting. Use the LOW setting on fine or thin hair
and the HIGH setting on thick and coarse hair.
• For faster results, towel dry hair to remove excess water, then run a comb through damp
hair to detangle for best results.
• Should the Hot Body Voluminous Dryer Brush stop working for any reason, turn it off at once
and let it cool down. Separate hair into manageable sections.
• For voluminous blowouts, place the Volumizer under the hair close to the roots and roll
outward to the ends. For Extra lift at the roots, hold the Volumizer for 2 to 3 seconds
under the roots.
• To curl ends, place the Volumizer UNDER the ends and hold or 2 to 3 seconds before
rotating inward or outward depending on styling preference.
• Repeat on remaining sections until hair has been dried into lustrous, voluminous styles.
Turn the appliance off when drying and styling is complete. Allow the unit to cool
completely before storing.
The symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that this product may not be
treated as household waste. Instead it should be handed over to the applicable
collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. By ensuring
this product is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent potential negative
consequences for the environment and human health, which could otherwise be
caused by inappropriate waste handling of this product. For more detailed
information about recycling this product, please contact your local council office,
your household waste disposal service, or the shop where the product was purchased.

Your appliance is virtually maintenance-free. No lubrication is needed. Keep all vents and
openings clean and free of dust, dirt, and hair spray. If the cord becomes twisted, untwist
prior to use.
If cleaning becomes necessary, unplug the appliance from the power source and wipe the
exterior with a damp cloth. DO NOT wash in water or allow moisture or additional debris to
enter the unit while cleaning.
Use a damp cloth for clean and wipe dry. This will help preserve the original finish of your Hot
Body Voluminous Dryer Brush. Abrasive cleaners should not be used.
This appliance is equipped with a thermostat that may cycle OFF if the temperature exceeds
comfort level due to the partially blocked air inlet or air outlet openings. In the event that the
appliance slows down during use, turn off the switches and allow the appliance to cool down,
at which time the thermostat will automatically reset. During use, do not block openings.
CARE AND CLEANING
• If the Hot Body Voluminous Dryer Brush detects an electrical shock hazard, it will
immediately shut off. To restore power, press the RESET button on the ALCI safety
device to reactivate the circuit.

DISPOSAL INFORMATION
Stylecraft LLC. (”we”, “us”, or “our”) warrants product against defects in materials and workmanship
for one (1) year from original purchase date (”Warranty Period”). If you cannot prove original purchase
date, Warranty Period runs one (1) year from date of product manufacture. If we receive
a valid claim, we will repair or replace with product of equal or greater value at our option.
This Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear such as shorts in the power supply cord or plug,
or excessive product build-up on plates or scratched or damaged plates or damage due to accident,
misuse or abuse such as: dropping (broken housing, broken hinges, loose plates, rattling noise, etc.),
wrong voltage supply, or neglect in safety precautions; or tampering such as repair or attempted
repair by unauthorized person, or use of unauthorized attachments.
What to do if you have a claim: If the product fails to operate properly under normal use because of a
covered defect; (1) within 90 days from purchase, simply return to place of purchase with valid, dated
receipt for a no charge replacement, or (2) after 90 days and within the Warranty Period, send back to
us for repair or replacement (you pay postage and handling charges). You must properly package
product against possible damage. We are not responsible for products lost or damaged in transit.
IMPORTANT: Do not send cash. Be sure to enclose a note describing the problem and proof of original
purchase date. Further instructions and return address will be provided for the claim process when you
call our service center at (888) 864-6409. Do not send your item back without contacting our service
center for a return authorization.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THIS WARRANTY AND THE REMEDIES AND
CONDITIONS SET FORTH ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, REMEDIES
AND CONDITIONS, WHETHER ORAL OR WRITTEN, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE SPECIFICALLY
DISCLAIM ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES
OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. IF WE CANNOT LAWFULLY
DISCLAIM OR EXCLUDE IMPLIED WARRANTIES UNDER APPLICABLE LAW, THEN TO THE EXTENT
WE CANNOT DISCLAIM WARRANTIES, ALL SUCH WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF
MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE SHALL EXPIRE ON EXPIRATION
OF THE WARRANTY PERIOD. WE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDE, AND WE WILL NOT PAY,
CONSEQUENTIALOR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES FOR THE BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY, AND WE
ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITIES FOR YOUR LOSS OF USE OF THE PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY
OTHER INCONVENIENCE OR CONSEQUENTIAL EXPENSE.
YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS: Some countries, states, provinces and/or jurisdictions do not allow limitations
on implied warranties and/or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so
the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
