system is turned “OFF” before assembling. See Figure A.
(II) Open the storage door on the rebowl for the gas tank. Take away the
boxes containing the ame glass. See Figure A.
(III) Put the gas tank in the metal stand. Make sure the gas tank sits on
the metal stand completely. Turn the wing screw on the outer part of
metal stand clockwise to secure the gas tank. See Figure B.
(IV) Evenly distribute the ame glass in the rebowl. See Figure C.
The propane gas and cylinder are sold separately. Use a standard 20 lb. propane cylinder only. Use this re pit only with
a vapor withdrawal supply system. See Chapter 3 of the standard for storage and handling of liqueed petroleum gas,
ANSA/NFPA 58. Your local library or re department should have this book.
Storage of an appliance indoors is permissible only if the cylinder is disconnected and removed from the appliance. A
cylinder must be stored outdoors in a well-ventilated area out of reach of children. A disconnected cylinder must have all
dust caps tightly installed and must no be stored in a building, garage or any other enclosed area. The maximum inlet gas

(I) Turn cylinder valve OFF.
(II) If leak is at hose/regulator connection: tighten connection and perform
another leak test. If bubbles continue appearing, the hose should be
returned to the place of purchase.
(III) If leak is at regulator/cylinder valve connection: disconnect,
reconnect, and perform another leak test. If you continue to see bubbles
after several attempts, cylinder valve is defective and should be returned
to cylinder place of purchase.
If NO bubbles appear at any connection, the connections are secure.
NOTE: Whenever gas connections are loosened or removed, you must
perform a complete leak test.
2. Install Battery to Electronic Igniter
