- Do not damage, process, forcibly bend, pull, twist, tie, or bring the cord close to hot
sections.
- Do not put any heavy things on the cord, nor put this between them. (Causing an

- Do not soak the product in water or splash water on it.

- Do not put your finger, metallic substance, or any other foreign object into the air
intake, air outlet, and opening. (Touching inside may cause an electric shock or an
injury)
- Do not use the product within the reach of babies and infants. (Causing an accident
or an injury)
- Do not leave small parts, such as screws alone. (Otherwise, babies and infants or
pets may swallow them by accident.)

- A place where your plants and animals are blown directly by wind from the air
outlet. (Causing them to be dried by wind)
- A place where vibrations are strong. (Causing a drop)
In installation
- Ventilate a room during use together with a burning appliance.
→This product does not have a ventilation function. (Causing carbon monoxide
poisoning)
- When it starts to thunder, do not touch the main body or the AC adapter. (Causing
an electric shock or a fire due to lightning)
- Do not step on, put a thing on, or lean on the main body. (Causing an injury or a
failure due to a drop)
- As for the TMiP.→Do not leave it wet in attachment. (Causing a failure or a
decrease in deodorization performance)
- Direct exposure of skin and eyes to UV-LED radiation from some UV-LED may cause
painful eye injury and burn-like skin reactions. Never look directly at a UV-LED even
briefly.

- This product is equipped with SUNSTAR's proprietary photocatalyst (TMiP) and an ultraviolet LED to reduce
unpleasant indoor odors.
- By using this product on a daily basis, you can effectively improve the indoor environment.
- This product does not use HEPA filters, which need to be replaced periodically, so it saves you the trouble of
maintenance.
- In addition to a standard mode, a silent mode is available, in which this product is silent enough not to disturb
your sleep.

- In case of an abnormality or a failure, immediately turn OFF the power and
pull out the AC adapter. (Causing smoking, combustion, or electric shock)
Contact your dealer or access the contact information to request inspection.
- In pulling out the AC adapter or the terminal, hold and pull out the AC adapter or
the terminal without pulling the cord. (Causing an electric shock or a fire due to a
short circuit etc.)
- Not using the product for a long time, be sure to pull out the AC adapter from the
outlet. (Causing an electric shock or a short-circuit fire due to deterioration of
insulation)
- If your pets bite a cord, immediately stop them doing it. (Causing an electric
shock)

- Do not spray insecticide or use insecticide of smoking type nearby. (Causing an

- Do not use benzine or thinner for wiping, nor spray insecticide. (Causing cracks or a

- Keep the product away from combustibles, lit tobacco, incense stick, or the like.

Name of Each Part of QAIS-air- 03A1U-W ■In order to achieve the original performance of the product, install it at a distance of 1 ft or more from walls and
furniture.
If you continue to use the product in the same place, the air sucked from the bottom of the product may stain the
wall or floor around the main unit.
We recommend cleaning the floor and walls on a regular basis.
- Use indoors at a temperature of 5 to 35°C. / 41 to 95℉.
- Install away from direct sunlight.
- Install near the source of odors.
- Make sure to hook the hook hole on the back of the
product. Failure to do so may cause the product to
fall, causing injury or damaging property.
- Check the wall material and structure, and select a
suitable mounting device that can withstand the weight
of the product.

- Install the main unit on the floor or table.
- Install the main unit in a place where it will not be
bumped by people or things.
- Do not block the air intake and air outlet with any
objects.
- Connect the power code and plug it into an outlet.

Connect the terminal to the main unit. Fit the code into the groove in the main unit.
You can select the draw-out direction of the power code according to how the main unit is installed.
1. Start
Turn ON the power switch; the product will start to operate and the pilot lamp will light up.

3. Stop
Turn OFF the power switch to stop the operation.
In Case of Electrical Failure
The pilot lamp (blue) and a standard mode lamp light up.
The product always operates in standard mode after
the power switch is turned ON.

If an electrical failure occurs, causing an energization failure, all lamps will turn OFF.

Connect the terminal of power code.

TMiP unit (inside the main unit)
Wipe the main unit with
a soft, dry cloth.
(2) Put your finger in the round notch on
the bottom of the main unit and pull
out the air intake guard horizontally.
(3) clean off dust with a
vacuum cleaner.
(4) Insert the air intake guard
horizontally and firmly into
the main unit.
(1) Turn OFF the power and unplug the power plug from the AC outlet.

Maintenance If odors cannot be removed or are difficult to remove, or if the operation noise
becomes loud, please do maintenance of the unit.
The frequency of maintenance varies depending on the usage environment.
Maintenance Prolonged use of the TMiP unit with a strong odor may degrade its deodorizing
ability. Soaking the TMiP unit in boiling water can restore its deodorizing ability.
Cleaning of Air intake guard
(1) Turn off the power and unplug the power plug from the outlet.
(5) Remove the TMiP unit.

upper unit.
(2) Disconnect the power cord from
the main unit.
(3) Turn the cover counterclockwise and remove it from the main unit.

(6) Place the TMiP unit in a heat-resistant container (e.g. a metal
tray etc.) and fill it with boiling water to a depth of at least
1.2inch / 3 cm. Soak the entire TMiP unit in the boiling water
for about 20 minutes.
(7) After 20 minutes, pour water into the container
to cool the TMiP unit.

(10) Attach the TMiP unit.
(13) Attach the cover aligning the hooks on the cover with the recesses in
the upper unit, and turn it clockwise (in the LOCK direction displayed on
the upper unit) to attach it securely.
(12) Tighten the four screws
with a phillips screwdriver.
(11) Attach the upper unit. At that time, align the notch indicated by the
arrow on the upper unit with the notch in the lower unit to install.

Troubleshooting
Perform the following checks. If the problem persists, be sure to turn OFF the power, unplug
the AC adapter, and contact your dealer or use the contact information to request repair and
inspection.

Upper unit
(8) Shake the TMiP unit to drain water.
・Hold the TMiP unit firmly with both hands and shake it gently.
Shake the TMiP unit up and down gently to drain water.
※Be careful not to drop the TMiP unit or let it hit the
surroundings.
(9) Dry the TMiP unit.
・Expose the TMiP unit to sunlight and let it
dry naturally for at least half a day.
Be careful not to drop the TMiP unit or let it hit the
surrounding area.
Do not place the TMiP unit near a fire or in a fire.
