Unpacking
Before you start using the unit you must ensure that the packaging has not been broken or
have been injured during transport and that the product is complete and without any visible
sign of damage or strained. If this is not the case, please contact SuperSail before using the
product.
The Temperature Sensor is an electrical unit, which sends the actual temperature wireless to
the SuperSail Alarmen. The measurement-sensor itself is connected to the Temperature
Sensor control unit via a 3 meter wire.

The Temperature Sensor consist of 2 main parts plus batteries:
•Temperature Sensor Control Unit
•Measurement Sensor
•2 AAA batteries
Mounting
You can mount the Temperature Sensor with double-sided adhesive strip or countersunk
head screws.
The Measurement Sensor can be places anywhere you want the temperature to be measured
–e.g. in the engine room or in the cabin. The 3 meter wire allows to measure temperature in
any place even where wireless communication is not possible.

Installation of batteries
The Temperature Sensor uses 2 x AAA batteries.
Open the Temperature sensor by loosening the 4 screws in the waterproof cover and remove
the cover carefully.
Install 2 pcs. batteries (AAA) in the battery holder and make sure that they are mounted in the
right direction (+/-).
Put on the cover and fasten the 4 screws.
Used batteries should not be disposed a domestic waste.
Batteries should be disposed according to the local regulations for batteries
Testing the Water Sensor
When the Temperature Sensor is installed and activated in the Alarm System, the actual
temperature is shown in the small map on the front page of the app within 4 minutes.
Reset to Factory settings
If the Temperature sensor for some reason does not function and the batteries have been
changed without solving the problem, reset to Factory settings can be a solution to fix the
problem.
Hold the reset button ”C” pressed in for at
least 5 seconds.
Release the reset button.
The Temperature Sensor is reset to
Factory settings.
Maintenance
The Temperature sensor is maintenance free. Repairs should be carried out at an authorized
service center.
Cleaning can be carried out with a soft cloth wrenched in lukewarm water.
Cleaning detergent containing solvent can harm the unit.

Safe Disposal
Should not be disposed a domestic waste.
Electronic equipment should be disposed according to the local regulations
for electronic and electronically equipment.
Activation in the Alarm system
After installation and test, the Temperature sensor must be activated in the Alarm system.
This is performed via the SuperSail app, where the Temperature sensor is activated via the
Alarm menu.
In the above example, we have decided to activate the Temperature sensor as sensor #1, but
all sensors are available for all sensor types.
In the “Text” field you can write a short text, which identifies the installation of the
Temperature sensor.
In the ”ID” field, you write the ID written on the side of the Temperature sensor. The ID is
furthermore written on the Quick Guide which follows the Temperature sensor. This ID is
unique for the Temperature sensor and makes it possible for the Alarm system to separate
the wireless sensors. Save the ID in case the ID should be deleted from the app and need to
be re-installed later.

In the “Type” filed you choose “Temperature”, which specifies that the Temperature sensor is
of the type Temperature sensor.
Finally the sensor is activated by ticking the field next to the “Text” filed. This activates the
sensor in the Alarm system. When the alarm is turned on, this sensor will be included in the
alarm.
The Temperature will be shown in the upper right corner of the small map on the front page of
the app.
Temperature alarm can be setup by specifying the allowed minimum and maximum
temperature range. Any temperature outside this range will initiate that a SMS alarm is sent.
It is recommended to set a temperature interval outside current temperature and test that an
alarm SMS is sent.
