possible, mount the bracket under an awning or
cover in a lit area.
2. The bracket must be mounted upright against a at
surface.
3. The bracket must be mounted so the bottom of
the bracket is a minimum of 10" from any ledge or
obstruction (the key container drops from the bottom

for preferred locations
2. Once the location for the unit has been decided,
position and level the drilling template on the wall
and punch or mark the holes for drilling. Please use
the preferred hole locations, which are marked with
a ■ on the drilling template, to minimize physical
interference when the mounting hardware and TRAC-
Box BT are installed.
3. Using the correct bit for the type of wall, drill size 1/2"
holes to accommodate 5/16" bolts.
4. Insert a lock washer and a nut on all four of the all-
thread rods. It is important that each all-thread rod is
ush with the outside of each nut.
5. Position the bracket against the wall and insert the
four all-thread rods into the holes through the wall.
IMPORTANT: The bracket must have the top (closed

Figure 2.)
7. With one hand, grip the end of the all-thread rod with
either pliers or a vice grip. Then, with the other hand,
tighten the nut with a 1/2" wrench while making sure
the bracket stays level. Repeat this procedure for
all six rods and tighten to approximately 50-75in-lb
or until rmly snug. Cut off the excess all-thread rod
using an appropriate tool.
Test the TRAC-Box BT Key Container
WARNING: Do not attach the TRAC-Box BT to the
bracket until opening of the key container has been
tested.

perform the open key container function. Refer to the

you MUST record the serial number of the TRAC-Box
BT installed at each location. This important information
is necessary for the integrity of the TRACcess database.
1. When properly installed, the shackle should be
hanging down from the inside of the bracket post with
the shackle legs pointing downward and located in
position with a retainer.
2. With the Supra logo of the TRAC-Box BT facing
outward toward the opening of the bracket, insert
the previously tested TRAC-Box BT into the bracket
assembly while aligning the shackle into the locking
holes of the TRAC-Box BT.
3. Push up on the TRAC-Box BT until you hear and
feel an audible "click" which indicates the shackle is
