To remove
Do not use sharp objects. Slide string type dental floss behind the mounting base in
a sawing motion with both your hands, starting from the edges and cutting through
the tape on all four sides of the mount. Once loose, pull off mount. Any remaining
residue can be removed with a hair dryer on medium heat for around 5 minutes. If
that doesn't work, spray WD-40, or Goo Gone adhesive remover, let it sit for two
minutes on the residue and then pull the adhesive off the surface with your fingers.
Wipe and clean using soapy water and a paper towel.
Caution
Do not use this product for Home Security. It is intended for Childproofing. This product cannot take
the place of adult supervision. Not recommended for heavy glass doors and windows. Never leave
children unattended. Install as high up as possible. Once the lock is damaged, a small metal pin may
eject which can be a choking hazard, so discard immediately.
1. Simply lift Part A upwards with your finger to the lock position to secure the open-
ing of the sliding door or window (fig 1).
2. To unlock, slightly pull part B upwards with two fingers to release and then press
down (fig 2). Ensure to press down completely to the flat position.
