NORMAS GENERALES DE SEGURIDAD
Este ROTOMARTILLO ELECTRONEUMÁTICO
tiene características que harán su trabajo más
rápido y fácil. Seguridad, comodidad y confia-
bilidad fueron previstos como prioridad para el
diseño del mismo, haciendo más fácil su ope-
ración.
ADVERTENCIA: Lea todas las advertencias
de seguridad y todas las instrucciones. La omi-
sión de alguna de las advertencias e instruccio-
nes que se enlistan a continuación puede dar
como resultado un choque eléctrico, fuego y/o
un daños serios.
CONSERVE TODAS LAS ADVERTENCIAS Y
TODAS LAS INSTRUCCIONES.
SEGURIDAD EN EL ÁREA DE TRABAJO
Mantenga el área de trabajo limpia y bien ilu-
minada. Las áreas desordenadas y oscuras pro-
vocan accidentes.
No maneje herramientas eléctricas en atmós-
feras explosivas, tales como en presencia de
líquidos inflamables, gases o polvo. Las herra-
mientas eléctricas crean chispas que pueden
encender el polvo o los humos.
Mantenga alejados a los niños y curiosos
mientras maneja una herramienta eléctrica.
Las distracciones pueden causarle la pérdida
del control.
SEGURIDAD ELÉCTRICA
La clavija de la herramienta eléctrica debe
coincidir con receptáculo. No modificar nunca
la clavija de ninguna manera. No usar ningún
adaptador de clavijas con herramientas eléctri-
cas puestas a tierra. Clavijas no modificadas y
bases coincidentes reducirán el riesgo de cho-
que eléctrico.
Evite el contacto del cuerpo con superficies
puestas a tierra como tuberías, radiadores, co-
cinas eléctricas y refrigeradores. Hay un riesgo
aumentado de choque eléctrico si su cuerpo
está puesto a tierra.
No exponga las herramientas eléctricas a la llu-
via o a condiciones de humedad. El agua que
entre en la herramienta aumentará el riesgo
de choque eléctrico.
No abuse del cable. No usar nunca el cable para
llevar, levantar o desenchufar la herramienta
eléctrica. Mantenga el cable lejos del calor,
aceite, cantos vivos o piezas en movimiento.
Los cables dañados o enredados aumentan el
riesgo de choque eléctrico.
Cuando maneje una herramienta eléctrica en
el exterior, use una prolongación de cable ade-
cuada para uso en el exterior. El uso de una
prolongación de cable adecuada para uso en el
exterior reduce el riesgo de choque eléctrico.

EXTENSIONES DE CABLE
NOTA: El uso de cables dañados incrementa el
riesgo de descargas eléctricas o quemaduras.
Si es necesario un cable de extensión, debe ser
usado un cable con el tamaño adecuado de los
conductores. La tabla de la siguiente página,
muestra el tamaño correcto para usar depen-
diendo en la longitud del cable y el rango de
amperaje especificado en la etiqueta de valo-
res nominales del producto. Si está en duda,
use el rango próximo más grande.
Siempre use cables de extensión listados en UL,
CSA ó NOM.
TAMAÑOS RECOMENDADOS DE EXTENSIONES
DE CABLE:
Cuando esté usando el producto afuera, use
una extensión para exteriores marcadas con lo
siguiente: “WA” o “W”. Estas extensiones están
pensadas para trabajar en exteriores y reducen
el riesgo de descarga eléctrica.
SEGURIDAD PERSONAL
Esté alerta, vigile lo que está haciendo y use el
sentido común cuando maneje una herramien-
ta eléctrica. No use una herramienta eléctrica
cuando esté cansado o bajo la influencia de

drogas, alcohol o medicamentos. Un momento
de distracción mientras maneja herramientas
eléctricas puede causar un daño personal serio.
Use equipo de seguridad. Lleve siempre pro-
tección para los ojos. La utilización para las
condiciones apropiadas de un equipo de segu-
ridad tal como mascarilla antipolvo, zapatos no
resbaladizos, gorro duro, o protección para los
oídos reducirá los daños personales.
Evite un arranque accidental. Asegúrese de
que el interruptor está en posición apagado
antes de conectar a la red y/o a la batería, co-
ger o transportar la herramienta. Transportar
herramientas eléctricas con el dedo sobre el
interruptor o enchufar herramientas eléctricas
que tienen en interruptor en posición encendi-
do invita a accidentes.
Retire llaves o herramienta antes de arrancar
la herramienta eléctrica. Una llave o herra-
mienta dejada unida a una pieza rotativa de
una herramienta eléctrica puede causar un
daño personal.
No se sobrepase. Mantenga los pies bien asen-
tados sobre el suelo y conserve el equilibrio en
todo momento. Esto permite un mejor control
de la herramienta eléctrica en situaciones in-
esperadas.
Vista adecuadamente. No vista ropa suelta o
joyas. Mantenga su pelo, su ropa y guantes
alejados de las piezas en movimiento. La ropa
suelta, las joyas o el pelo largo pueden ser co-
gidos en las piezas en movimiento.
Si hay dispositivos para la conexión de medios
de extracción y recolección de polvo, asegúre-
se de que éstos estén conectados y se usen co-
rrectamente. El uso de estos dispositivos puede
reducir los peligros relacionados con el polvo.
IMPORTANTE: Este aparato no se destina
para utilizarse por personas (incluyendo niños)
cuyas capacidades físicas, sensoriales o menta-
les sean diferentes o estén reducidas, o carez-
can de experiencia o conocimiento, a menos
que dichas personas reciban una supervisión o
capacitación para el funcionamiento del apa-
rato por una persona responsable de su segu-
ridad. Los niños deben supervisarse para ase-
gurar que ellos no empleen los aparatos como
juguete.
UTILIZACIÓN Y CUIDADOS DE LAS
HERRAMIENTAS ELÉCTRICAS
No fuerce la herramienta eléctrica. Use la he-
rramienta eléctrica correcta para su aplicación.
La herramienta eléctrica correcta hará el tra-
bajo mejor y más seguro al ritmo para la que
fue concebida.
No use la herramienta eléctrica si el interrup-
tor no gira “encendido” y “apagado”. Cual-
quier herramienta eléctrica que no pueda con-
trolarse con el interruptor es peligrosa y debe
repararse.
Desenchufe la clavija de la fuente de alimen-
tación y/o de la batería antes de efectuar
cualquier ajuste, cambio de accesorios, o de
almacenar las herramientas eléctricas. Tales
medidas preventivas de seguridad reducen el
riesgo de arrancar la herramienta accidental-
mente.
Almacene las herramientas eléctricas inactivas
fuera del alcance de los niños y no permita el
manejo de la herramienta eléctrica a personas
no familiarizadas con las herramientas o con
estas instrucciones. Las herramientas eléctricas
son peligrosas en manos de usuarios no entre-
nados.
Mantenga las herramientas eléctricas. Com-
pruebe que las partes móviles no estén des-
alineadas o trabadas, que no haya piezas ro-
tas u otras condiciones que puedan afectar la
operación de las herramientas eléctricas. Las
herramientas eléctricas se reparan antes de su
uso, cuando están dañadas. Muchos acciden-
tes son causados por herramientas eléctricas
pobremente mantenidas.
Mantenga las herramientas de corte afiladas y
limpias. Las herramientas de corte mantenidas
correctamente con los bordes de corte afilados
son menos probables de trabarse y más fáciles
de controlar.
Use la herramienta eléctrica, accesorios y pun-
tas de herramienta, etc. de acuerdo con estas
instrucciones y de la manera prevista para el
tipo particular de herramienta eléctrica, te-
niendo en cuenta las condiciones de trabajo
y el trabajo a desarrollar. El uso de la herra-
mienta eléctrica para aplicaciones diferentes
de las previstas podría causar una situación de
peligro.

SERVICIO
Haga revisar su herramienta eléctrica por un
servicio de reparación calificado usando sola-
mente piezas de reemplazo idénticas. Esto ga-
rantizará que la seguridad de la herramienta
eléctrica se mantiene.
ADVERTENCIAS DE SEGURIDAD PARA
ROTOMARTILLOS ELECTRONEUMATICOS
• Coloque el cable en la parte trasera de la
herramienta y manténgalo lejos de la herra-
mienta.
• Asegure la pieza de trabajo con dispositivos
seguros como los bancos de trabajo.
• Use protección auditiva, la exposición al
ruido excesivo puede causar problemas serios.
• Opere la herramienta solo con la empuñadu-
ra auxiliar
• Si existe vibración considerable o detecta
algún otro defecto en la operación, pare la
operación inmediatamente y revise la maquina
para determinar la causa.
• Sostenga rmemente el martillo demoledor
con ambas manos.
• No fuerce la herramienta, ésta realizará un
mejor trabajo y más seguro a la velocidad para
la cual fue diseñado.
• Sostenga el demoledor por las partes aisladas
cuando realice trabajos donde la herramienta
pueda tener contacto con cables ocultos o su
propio cable de alimentación.
• Utilice guantes cuando manipule los cinceles
y la herramienta en sí. Los cinceles y la herra-
mienta pueden tornarse calientes durante la
operación. Los guantes y períodos de descan-
so frecuentes reducen el riesgo de daños por
vibraciones a manos y brazos.
• Utilice detectores adecuados para encontrar
las instalaciones ocultas tales como instalacio-
nes eléctricas, de gas y tuberías de agua.
• El polvo y astillas no deben ser eliminadas
mientras la maquina esta en funcionamiento.
• No perfore la carcasa del motor ya que esto
puede dañar el doble aislamiento.
• Asegúrese que las aberturas de ventilación se
mantengan limpias cuando este trabajando en
condiciones de mucho polvo.
• No opere la herramienta por periodos largos
ya que la vibración puede ocasionarle daños a
sus manos o brazos.
CARACTERÍSTICAS
CONOZCA SU HERRAMIENTA
Antes de intentar usar este producto, familiarí-
cese con todas sus características de operación
y requerimientos de seguridad.
1. PORTA HERRAMIENTAS (SDS-PLUS).
2. PERILLA SELECTORA DEL MODO DE OPERA-
CIÓN.
3. TOPE DE PROFUNDIDAD.
4. INTERRUPTOR CON VELOCIDAD VARIABLE.
5. BOTON PARA TRABAJO CONTINUO.
6. EMPUÑADURA AUXILIAR.
INSTRUCCIONES DE OPERACIÓN
1. VERIFIQUE LA POTENCIA DE LA FUENTE DE
PODER
Esta debe concordar con la requerida en la
etiqueta del producto.
2. CLUTCH AUTOMÁTICO DE SEGURIDAD
Protege al operador y a la maquina de un
contragolpe originado por un atasco repenti-
no del cincel.
3. INSTALANDO EL MANGO AUXILIAR
Desconecte la herramienta de la fuente de
poder. Afloje el anillo de soporte en el mango
auxiliar girandolo en sentido contrario a las
manecillas del reloj, a continuación coloque el
mango en la herramienta (sección cilíndrica en
el extremo frontal de la herramienta).
Coloque el mango auxiliar en la posición
deseada, finalmente apriete el mango para
asegurarlo y prevenir cualquier movimiento
innecesario.
PRECAUCIÓN: utilice el mango auxiliar
proporcionado. El no emplearlo en la opera-
ción puede causar daños corporales.

4. SELECCIÓN DE LOS ACCESORIOS
Para perforaciones con percusión, es necesario
que inserte en el porta-brocas de la herramien-
ta un cincel SDS-plus. Para taladrar en acero o
madera utilice herramientas sin percusión. Ya
que este trabajo requiere un broquero y brocas
especiales (Ver aplicaciones).
5.- Insertando/Removiendo el cincel SDS-PLUS
El cincel SDS-Plus esta diseñado para moverse
libremente. Esto causa excentricidad cuando
la máquina está al vacío. De cualquier forma
la broca se centrará automáticamente durante
la operación. Esto no afecta la precisión de la
perforación.
5. INSERTAR O REMOVER ACCESORIOS SDS-
PLUS
La broca SDS-plus esta diseñada para moverse
libremente, lo cual provoca excentricidad cuan-
do la máquina trabaja sin carga. Sin embargo
el rotomartillo se centra automáticamente
durante la operación sin afectar la precisión
del perforado.
ADVERTENCIA: Engrase regularmente la
parte a embonar de los accesorios.
1) Insertando el accesorio: Limpie el acceso-
rio antes de insertar y ligeramente engrase la
parte a insertar. Inserte el accesorio con un giro
dentro del broquero hasta que encaje, la broca
se taba por si sola. Revise que este bien asegu-
rada jalando la broca.
2) Remover la broca: Jale la funda plástica
hacia la parte trasera, mantenga en esta posi-
ción y remueva la broca del broquero.
6. INSERTANDO Y REMOVIENDO EN EL
PORTA-HERRAMIENTAS
1) REMOVIENDO: Coloque temporalmente la
perilla selectora del modo de operación en la
posición de cincelado (bloqueando el eje).
Gire la manga plástica firmemente hacia la
izquierda hasta detenerse y jalelo para soltarlo.
2) MONTANDO: Coloque el porta-herramien-
tas en "taladro". Gire la manga plástica a la
izquierda y simultáneamente presiónela hacia
atrás firmemente hasta que el broquero cierre
y trabe. Asegúrese de que el broquero se sienta
firmemente en su lugar.
7. ESTABLECER EL TOPE DE PROFUNDIDAD
Libere el mango auxiliar anclando el mecanis-
mo girando la empuñadura hacia la izquierda.
Ajuste la empuñadura auxiliar en la posición
deseada.
Coloque el tope guía en la profundidad de
perforación deseada. Apriete el mango auxi-
liar de manera segura, girando la empuñadura
en sentido contrario a las manecillas del reloj.
8. ELIJA EL MODO DE OPERACIÓN
Con la perilla selectora de la operación selec-
cione el modo de operación de la máquina.
Presione el botón y gire la perilla a la posición
deseada hasta que esta se trabe.
PRECAUCIÓN: Cambie el modo de opera-
ción solo cuando la maquina esté apagada. De
otra forma, la herramienta puede ser dañada.

9. CONTROLES DEL GATILLO
PRECAUCIÓN: Para reducir el riesgo de
lesiones, asegúrese de que puede controlar
el interruptor libremente, encender y apagar
antes de comenzar a perforar.
1) Operación normal;
Encendido: Presione el gatillo.
Apagado: Suelte el gatillo de accionamiento.
2) Para variar la velocidad de perforación;
Simplemente haga o quite presión en el inte-
rruptor de encendido. Cuanto más sea la
presión, mayor será la velocidad de perfora-
ción. Una velocidad baja facilita el comienzo
de orificios (por ejemplo en superficies suaves
como azulejos), previene que la broca se resba-
le y la fragmentación del orificio perforado.
Rangos de velocidad recomendados:
• Velocidad Alta; para perforaciones con percu-
sión y cincelado en concreto o piedra.
• Velocidad Media; para perforar en metal.
• Velocidad Baja; para apretar tornillos.
APLICACIONES DE OPERACIÓN
PRECAUCIÓN: Para reducir el riesgo de
explosión ó choque eléctrico, cerciórese que
no haya instalaciones eléctricas, de gas o agua
ocultas en el área de trabajo antes de la opera-
ción.
PRECAUCIÓN: Cuando trabaje en bajas
temperaturas;
El mecanismo de perforación comienza a
operar solo cuando el rotomartillo ha alcanza-
do la temperatura mínima de operación.
Presione la punta del martillo brevemen-
te poco en contra de la superficie de trabajo
mientras que la herramienta esté encendida.
Repita este procedimiento si es necesario hasta
que el martilleo alcance la temperatura mini-
ma de funcionamiento.
1. ROTOMARTILLO PERCUTOR
PRECAUCIÓN: No use la herramienta sin la
broca SDS-plus para perforar con percusión.
Si utiliza la herramienta sin la broca adecuada
el broquero podría dañarse. Cuando trabaje
sin la broca SDS-plus, mantenga el modo de
operación en la posición de taladro “ “.
2. DEMOLER Y CINCELAR
Antes de insertar el cincel, coloque la perilla de
función en modo de "percusión".
Inserte el cincel apropiado, para ajustar la
cabeza del cincel al ángulo deseado, coloque
la perilla en el modo “giro de accesorio” y
gire el cincel con la mano. Regrese el selector a
la posición de "percusión" .
· Ajuste el mango auxiliar como lo necesite.
· Presione el interruptor y comience a trabajar.
Sostenga firmemente la herramienta con
ambas manos, gire la herramienta y aplique
una ligera presión para que no rebote sin
control. El presionar fuertemente contra la
herramienta no incrementará su eficiencia.
MANTENIMIENTO
ADVERTENCIA: Se recomienda que cualquier
reparación o servicio sean realizados en un
centro de servicio calificado.
MANTENIMIENTO GENERAL
1. Evite la vibración o impacto de la herramien-
ta, manténgalo alejado del aceite y grasa.
2. Inspeccione los tornillos periódicamente.
Si los tornillos se encuentran flojos apriételos
inmediatamente ya que podrian causar lesio-
nes serias.
3. Inspeccione el cable de alimentación periódi-
camente. Si se dañara llévelo a cambiar o repa-
rar a un centro de servicio autorizado.
4. Mantenga las ranuras de ventilación limpias.
Limpie frecuentemente todas las partes de la
herramienta, manténgalas libres de polvo y asi
prevenir la entrada de residuos.

CARBONES
Los carbones de la herramienta deben ser
examinados frecuentemente. Su buen con-
tacto hace que la herramienta sea más pode-
rosa. Cuando la chispa alrededor del colector
se vuelva más grande los carbones deben ser
cambiadas.
LIMPIEZA
ADVERTENCIA: Antes de limpiar o realizar
cualquier mantenimiento, la herramienta debe
ser desconectada de la fuente de energía.
Mantenga las empuñaduras de la máquina
limpias, secas y libre de aceite o grasa. Use un
jabón y paños humedos suaves. Muchos pro-
ductos de limpieza del hogar contienen quími-
cos que pueden dañar seriamente el plástico y
otras partes aisladas.
Las ranuras de ventilación deben ser manteni-
das limpias. No intente limpiarla introduciendo
objetos punzantes a través de las aberturas.
CUIDADO: No se recomienda el uso de agen-
tes químicos para limpiar la máquina. No use
petróleo, laca, diluyentes de pintura o produc-
tos similares.
ADVERTENCIA: Solamente use accesorios re-
comendados por el fabricante.
Accesorios que pueden ser utilizados en unas
máquinas pueden ser peligroso utilizarlos en
otras.
ADVERTENCIA: Verifique que el cable de ali-
mentación esté en buenas condiciones, si se en-
cuentra dañada reemplacela (llevela a su cen-
tro de servicio más cercano). Nunca utilize una
herramienta cuyo cable de alimentación se en-
cuentre dañado.
SOLUCIONADOR DE PROBLEMAS
A continuación se enlistan algunos problemas
que se puedan generar antes o durante la
operación.
NOTA: Si su problema no se encuentra enlista-
do en este solucionador de problemas, lleve su
herramienta a su centro de servicio autorizado
más cercano.
EL MOTOR DEJÓ DE FUNCIONAR
Esta desconectado de la fuente de poder. Co-
necte a la fuente de poder.

El enchufe no esta completamente conectado.
Revise todas las conexiones.
El interruptor no funciona. Lleve la herramien-
ta a un centro de servicio para realizar el cam-
bio.
Los carbones no hacen contacto con el con-
mutador. Lleve la herramienta para realizar
el cambio de carbones a un centro de servicio
autorizado.
LA BROCA NO GIRA
La perilla selectora del modo de operación no
embonó correctamente. Después que termine
de rotar, coloque correctamente en posición la
perilla seleccionadora.
NO HAY ACCIÓN DE MARTILLO Y LA HE-
RRAMIENTA SE TAMBALEA
La herramienta está fría. Permita que la he-
rramienta alcance la temperatura mínima de
operación.
La perilla no está en el modo de operación en
la función de cincelado. Coloque el modo de
operación en la función de cincelado.
LA HERRAMIENTA NO FUNCIONA CON UNA
POTENCIA PLENA
El interruptor no esta presionado completa-
mente. Presione el interruptor hasta que tope.

structions. Failure to follow all indications list-
ed below, may result in electric shock, fire and/
or serious personal injury.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
SAFETY IN WORKING AREA
Keep your work area clean and well lit. Clut-
tered benches and dark areas may cause acci-
dents.
Do not operate power tools in explosive atmo-
spheres, such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases or dust. Some power tools create
sparks which may provoke fire.
Keep away observers, children and visitors
while operating a power tool. Distractions can
cause you to lose control.
ELECTRIC SAFETY
Double insulation eliminates the need for the
three wire grounded power cord and ground-
ed power supply system.
Avoid the body contact with grounded surfac-
es such as pipes, radiators and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if
your body is grounded.
Don’t expose power tools to rain or wet condi-
tions. The precense of water into power tools
will increase the risk of electric shock.
Do not abuse of the power cord. Never use the
power cord to carry the tool and do not pull
the plug off the outlet. Keep the cable away of
heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Replace
damaged cords immediately. Damaged cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
When operating a power tool outside, use an
outdoor extension cord marked “W-A” or “W”.
These cords are rated for outdoor use and re-
duce the risk of electric shock.
EXTENSION CORDS
Replace damaged cords immediately. The use
of damaged cords can shock, burn or electric
shock. If an extension cord is necessary, a cord
with adequate size conductors should be used
to prevent excessive voltage drop, loss of pow-
er or overheating. The table below shows the
correct size to use, depending on cord length
and nameplate amperage rating of tools. In
case of doubt use the next heavier gauge. Al-
ways use UL listed extension cords.

PERSONAL SAFETY
Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use
common sense when operating a power tool.
Don’t use the tool if you are tired or under the
influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A
moment of unattention while operating pow-
er tools may cause a serious personal injury.
Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or
jewellery. Contain long hair. Keep your hair,
clothing and gloves away of moving parts.
Loose clothes, jewellery or long hair can be
caught in moving parts.
Avoid an accidental starting. Be sure that the
switch is OFF before plugging in. Carrying
tools with the finger on the switch or plug in
the tool switch in ON may cause accidents.
Remove the adjusting keys or wrenches be-
fore turning the tool on. A wrench or a key
that is left close to a rotating part of the tool
may provoke a personal injury.
Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and
balance at all times. Proper footing and bal-
ance enables better control of the tools on un-
expected situations.
Use safety equipment. Always wear eye pro-
tection. Dust mask, nonskid safety shoes, hard
hat, or hearing protection must be used for ap-
propriate conditions.
Before connecting the tool to a power source
(receptacle, outlet, etc.) be sure that the volt-
age supplied is the same as that one specified
on the nameplate of the tool. To use a not

specified voltage may cause a serious injury to
the user as well as damage the tool.
IMPORTANT: This appliance is not intended
for use by persons (including children) with re-
duced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
may be different or reduced, or lack of experi-
ence or knowledge, unless such persons are su-
pervised or trained to operate the product by
a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure they do not use
the devices as toys.
TOOL USE AND CARE
Do not force the power tool. Use the correct
tool for the application. The correct tool will
do the job better and more safely at the rate
that it was designed to work at.
Do not use tools if switch does not turn it on or
off. Any tool that cannot be controlled whith
the switch is dangerous and must be repaired.
Disconnect the plug from the power source
before making any adjustments, changing ac-
cessories or storing the tool. This preventive
safety measures reduce the risk of accidental
starting of the tool.
When the power tool is not in use, store it out
of the reach of children, and do not allow in-
dividuals who are not familiar with the power
tool or these instructions to operate it. Power
tools are dangerous in the hands on untrained
users.
Maintain the power tool. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, broken parts,
and any other condition that may affect the
operation of the power tool. If it is damaged,
have it repaired before using. Many accidents
are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
Check for misalignment or bonding of moving
parts, breakage parts, and any other condition
that may affect the tools operation. If you find
a damaged tool, take it to service before use it.
Use only accessories that are recommended by
the manufacturer of your model. Suitable ac-
cessories for one tool, may become hazardous
when are used on another tool.
Keep cutting tools, sharpened and clean. Cut-
ting tools in good condition with sharpened
edges, are less likely to stuck in workpieces or
easier to control.
Is recommendable to use a safety device suit-
able, such a thermal and diferential switch
when you are using an electric equipment.
SERVICE
Tool service must be perfomed only by quali-
fied repair personnel. Service or maintenance
performed by unqualified personnel could re-
sult in a risk of injury.
SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES FOR
ROTARY HAMMERS
• Place the cord in rear of the tool, and keep it
far from the tool.
• Clamp work piece securely with clamping de-
vices or a vise.
• Operate the machine only with the auxiliary
handle.
• If there is considerable vibration or other de-
fects are detected in operation, stop the ma-
chine immediately and check the machine to
determine the cause.
• Hold your hammer drill rmly in both hands.
• Do not force your hammer drill, it will do a
better and safer job at the speed for which it
was designed.
• Hold tool by insulated gripping surfaces
when performing an operation where the cut-
ting tool may contact hidden wiring or its own
cord.
• Wear gloves when handling hammer bits and
tool. Hammer bits and tools get hot during op-
eration. Gloves and frequent rest periods will
reduce risk of vibration damage to hands and
arms.
• Use suitable detectors to nd hidden electric
cables or gas and water pipes.
• Sawdust and splinters must not be removed
while the machine is running.
• Do not pierce the motor housing as this could
damage the double insulation.
• Ensure that ventilation openings are kept
clear when working in dusty conditions.
• Do not operate the tool for long time, or the
quiver of the machine will hurt hands or arms.

safety requirements.

OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. CHECK THE POWER SUPPLY
The power tool supply must match the name-
plate date.
2. AUTOMATIC SAFETY CLUTCH
Protects the operator and machine from the
high reverse torque, which develops if the tool
jams all of a sudden.
3. INSTALLING THE AUXILIARY HANDLE
Unplug the tool from the mains socket, firstly.
Release the auxiliary handle clamping band by
turning the handle in a counter-clockwise di-
rection.
Then fit the handle band over the chuck and
onto the cylindrical section at the front end
of the tool. Pivot the auxiliary handle into the
desired position. Finally, tighten the handle se-
curely to prevent inadvertent movement.
WARNING: Use the auxiliary handle sup-
plied. Missed operation will cause bodily harm.
4. SELECTION OF TOOLS
For hammer drilling, SDS-plus tools are neces-
sary that are inserted into the SDS drill chuck
of the machine.
For drilling in steel or wood, driving screws
and cutting threads, tools without SDS-plus
(e.g., drills with cylindrical shafts)are used. For
these tools, a special drill chuck is required
(see APPLICATIONS).
5. INSERTING/REMOVING SDS-PLUS TOOL
The SDS-plus tool is designed to be freely mov-
able. This causes eccentricity when the machine
is not loaded. However the drill automatically
centers itself during operation. This does not
affect drilling precision.
WARNING: Take care when changing tools
that the dust cap is not damaged.
1) Inserting: Clean the tool before inserting
and lightly grease the insertion end.
Insert the tool with a twisting motion into the
tool holder until it locks. The tool locks itself.
Check the locking by pulling on the tool.
2) Removing: Pull the plastic sleeve to the rear,
hold it in this position and remove the tool
from the tool holder (see next page image).
6. INSERTING/REMOVING TOOL HOLDER
1) REMOVAL: Set the operating mode selector
knob temporarily to the “Chiseling” position
(drill spindle locked). Turn the plastic sleeve
firmly counterclockwise to the stop and pull
off the tool holder.
2) MOUNTING: Place the tool holder on the
drill spindle. Turn the plastic sleeve counter-
clockwise (to the left) and simultaneously press
back firmly until the tool holder latches and
locks. Ensure that the tool holder sits tightly.

7. SETTING THE GUIDE RULER
Release the auxiliary handle clamping mecha-
nism by turning the handle in a counterclock-
wise direction. Pivot the auxiliary handle into
the desired position.
Adjust the guide ruler to the desired drill-
ing depth” X “. Tighten the auxiliary handle
securely by turning the handle in a clockwise
direction.
8. SET THE OPERATING MODE
With the operating mode selector knob, select
the operating mode of the machine. To change
the operating mode turning the operating
mode selector knob to the desired position un-
til you hear “click” to latch.
WARNING: Change the operating mode
only when the machine is switched off. Other-
wise, the machine can be damaged.
For drilling in steel or
wood, for tighten the

can also be used as a

9. TRIGGER CONTROLS
WARNING: To make sure you can control
the switch freely and keep it off before plug-
ging drill.
1) Intermittence work;
Start: Press the trigger.
Stop: Release the trigger.
2) To vary the drilling speed;
Simply increase or decrease pressure on the
trigger. The further the trigger is pressed, the
greater the drilling speed.
Reduced speed of the machine facilitates the
starting of holes (e.g., on smooth surfaces such
as tiles), prevents the slipping of drill and the
splintering of the drilled hole.
Recommended Speed Ranges:
• High speed for hammer drilling and chiseling
in concrete or stone.
• Medium speed for drilling in metal.
• Low speed for tighten the screws.
APPLICATION
WARNING: To reduce the risk of explosion,
before any work check the utility lines electric-
ity, gas or water supply line are hidden in the
work area.
WARNING: When working at low tempera-
tures:
The hammering mechanism begins to operate
only when the tool has reached a minimum op-
erating temperature.
Press the tip of the hammer bit briefly against
the work surface while the tool is running.
Repeat this procedure if necessary until the
hammering reaches the minimum operating
temperature.
1. HAMMER DRILLING
WARNING: Do not use tools without SDS
plus for hammer drilling!
Tools without SDS-plus and their holder and
drill chuck would be damaged by hammer drill-
ing. When working with tool without SDS-plus,
set the operating mode selector knob to posi-
tion “ ”.
2. CHIPPING AND CHISELING
Before inserting the chisel, set the operating
mode selector knob to the “hammering only”
position.
Insert the appropriate chisel. To adjust the
head of the chisel to the desired angle, set the
operating mode selector knob to the “bit ro-
tation” position and rotate the chisel by
hand. Return the mode selector to the “ham-
mering only” position.

· Adjust the auxiliary handle as required.
· Start on the trigger of tool and start working.
Hold the tool firmly with both hands, turn the
tool on and apply slight pressure on the tool so
that the tool will not bounce around, uncon-
trolled. Pressing very hard on the tool will not
increase the efficiency.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING: It’s recommended that all repa-
rations been made by an authorized service
center.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
1. Avoid the tool vibration or impact, and keep
it from oil and grease.
2. Inspect bolts periodically. If the bolts loosen,
tighten them immediately, or will result in seri-
ous accident.
3. Inspect tool cords periodically. If damaged,
have repaired at your nearest Authorized Ser-
vice Center.
4. Keep the vents clean. Clean all parts of the
tool, clean dust periodically. To prevent debris
entry.
CARBON BRUSHES
The carbon brushes and the collets must be ex-
amined frequently. A good contact result the
tool to be strong. When the spark around the
collector becomes largest the carbon brushes
should be changed.
CLEANING
WARNING: Before to clean or realize any
kind of maintenance, the tool must be un-
plugged of the power source. The most effec-
tive cleaning method could be flow the tool
with dry compressed air. Always use goggles
when perform this activity. Keep the handle
clean, dry and oil free. Use only a gently soap
and a wet wiper to clean the tool. Many clean-
ing products has chemical which can seriously
damage the plastic and other isolated parts.
The ventilation slots must be kept clean. Don’t
try clean it introducing sharp objects trough
ventilation slots.
CAUTION: Don’t use chemical agents as pe-
troleum, solvents or similar products to clean
the tool.
WARNING: Use only accessories that are
recommended by the manufacturer for your
model. Accessories that may be suitable for
one tool may become hazardous when used
with another tool.
WARNING: Maintain tools with care. Keep
cutting tools sharp and clean.
WARNING: Check extension cords before
each use. If damaged, replace immediately.
Never use tool with a damaged cord.
TROUBLESHOOTING
MOTOR STOPS RUNNING
Unconnected to power source. Connect to
power source.
Plugs not fully connect. Check all plugs.
Switch out of work. Replace or repair the switch.
Brushes not touch the commutator. Replace
the brush with a new one.
DRILL BIT DOESN’T ROTATE
Operating mode selector knob not engaged.
After rotation has stopped, move the operat-
ing mode selector knob until it engages.
NO HAMMERING ACTION AND THE TOOL
WOBBLES
The tools is too cold. Allow tool to reach the
minimum operating temperature.
Operating mode selector knob set to rotary
drilling. Set operating mode selector knob to
hammer drilling.
TOOL DOESN’T PRODUCE FULL POWER
Control switch is not pressed fully. Press the
control switch as far as it will go.
