Welcome to use Svane Electronic anti-burglary Smoke Generator. Svane Electronic anti-burglary
Smoke Generator is a milestone security product that changes the former passive defense in
security with its process intervention function and therefore greatly reduces personnel and property
losses.
This Generator can be started by personnel on site, system automatic identification or remote
review method. In a few seconds the Generator sprays so much non-toxic Smoke that the visibility
downs to zero and thus prevent the criminal suspect from taking further actions endangering
personal and property safety.

During transportation, please do not open both ends of the control wire of the Smoke
Generator and keep the connection closed, what’s more, do not connect with power or other
controller, or it will cause abnormal startup of the Smoke Generator.

The above required installation tools and accessories are just suggested and you can adjust
according to field needs.
2.6 Installation environment
The Smoke Generator can only be installed indoors.
The bearing structure must be strong enough to support the weight of the Smoke Generator.
There is 24 hours power supply beside the Generator.
Enough space should be reserved at the installation site for convenient maintenance
operation.
2.7 Grounding
For reliable work of lightning protection and shock resistance circuit the control host must be
grounded. By connecting the outer case of the control host with ground rod, water tube or other
ground ends it can realize the grounding of host case.

6. Product installation
6.1 Installation position
The smoke generator can be mounted on a vertical wall or horizontally on the ceiling. The
recommended height is no more than 2.5 meters.
6.2 Installation steps
Following the steps bellow to realize fast installation. Please refer to the complete manual to know
the details.
1) First check the load-bearing condition of the roof or wall. In case of bad load-bearing
condition please reinforce it.
2) Fix the baseplate of Smoke host to the roof or wall. You can screw it to keel or other
frames firmly.
3) Install the control Generator at some position easy to maintain and make sure that it is
convenient to wire the detector with the Smoke Generator.
4) While laying cable, use slot or conduit or according to customer requirement to conceal
the cable.
It should be connected and installed by
professionals.
The minimal cross section area of the wire
from control Generator to Smoke Generator
is 0.5 mm²( satisfying national cable
standard), and cable clamp connects sheath
and insulation material.

6.3 Installation note:
1) Install the product in the walls to the recommended distance of 2.5 meters high
orinstallation not exceed 3 meters from the ground.
2) Please direct the smoke towards the goods or the area to be protected.
3) Attention: The product must be connected to a certified alarm system.
4) During the maintenance and installation phases, do not stand near the smoke exit
hole.After supplying do not touch the device because it is extremely hot!
7. Connection
1) Keep the short jumper not to be removed during the installation
process. The short black line identified in the figure.
2) Before connecting, make sure that the resistance between the two cables of the smoke
generator is within 3 ohms ±10%. Attention: When using a multimeter, make sure that its
output current does not exceed 10mA.
3) Connect the electric wires(means of igntion) to the alarm output (non-polarized continuous
voltage) of the anti-theft control panel, respecting the electric current value required for
ignition.
4) Before you connect the smoke generator, at the end of the test the product using a light or

sound source.
5) The installer must notify local authorities after the installation.
8. Warranty
Svane Electronic Smoke generator is covered by a 2 years warranty. After
this period it is advisable to replace the product with a new one.
9. Warnigs
Do not stand for too long in saturated smoke. Ventilate the premises for at least 20
minutes within one hour after smoke.
Minors are prohibited from using and purchasing.
Keep away from fire or high temperature areas.

11.Workflow
The alarm host or control Generator sends out instruction and the power circuit switches on. Then
the Smoke Generator is started immediately and release large amount of Smoke instantly.
12.Limitations of Smoke control system
Under power-off condition, the Smoke control system can’t work and thus it is unable to stop
incidence of violence.
When the Smoke Generator is spraying Smoke, all the smoke detectors will be activated,
except for thermal detector or CO detector. Please contact with personnel in charge of local
firefighting system to avoid unnecessary loss.
