Thank you for choosing our pen scanner. Our product has functions such as voice translation, scan translation,
photo translation, text excerpt, recording, dictionary, etc. The excellent pen scanner is suitable for people with
dyslexia and reading difficulties, tourism, business negotiation, language learning, and studying abroad.

1.5. Screen Operation Instruction
This machine adopts a touch-type color display, which can be operated by touching the sliding display with your
finger and clicking the corresponding function.
1. Swipe on the screen with your finger to switch the screen. The specific operation should be determined
according to the actual content.
2. Click each function icon on the home page to enter the function interface of the corresponding icon.

3.0. Functions Instruction
3.1. Scan Translation
3.1.1. Scan Method
1) Hold the pen body, place the scanning head on the target scanning object, and the target font is on the
center line of the scanning window.
2) Gently press the scanning pen down, the scanning window emits light, and then move the translation pen at
a constant speed along the font content to complete the scan.
3) The examples of the scanning angle are shown in the figures below.
3.1.2. Scan Translation Settings
Before scanning, please select the language to be scanned and the language of the target translation; when the
"Multiline" button is turned on, multiple lines of text can be scanned continuously; when it is turned off, only
one line of text can be scanned at a time.

3.1.3. Text To Speech Reader
After the scan is complete, the scan content and translation results will be displayed on the screen, and the scan
content will be played automatically. Click the speaker icon to play the corresponding content, it is an effective
read tool to help the dyslexics to reach their potential improves independence and self-confidence.

3.2. Voice Translation
There are two modes for voice translation. When the translation pen is connected to Wi-Fi, you can choose to
enter the online translation mode. When the translation pen is offline, you can choose to enter the offline
translation mode. There are four languages for selection in the offline translation mode, namely Chinese,
English, Korean, Japanese. After the voice is entered, the entered voice content and the translation result will be
displayed on the screen, so that it is easy to check whether the voice entered content is correct. Voice content
can also be viewed directly for those with hearing impairments.

3.4.1. Synchronized the Excerpt Text
Note: Please make sure that the scan translation pen is connected to Wi-Fi.
1) After entering the text excerpt mode, click the "YES" button, the page will display the simultaneous
interpretation text viewing URL and QR code (After exiting and re-entering the text excerpt module, the
URL and the QR code will be updated, so please pay attention to check whether it has changed when using
this function). Then click “Enter” to start scanning.

2) Enter the above URL in the browser or scan the QR code on the mobile phone to enter the simultaneous
interpretation text viewing page.

There are 6 built-in dictionaries in the machine, namely English-Chinese dictionary, Chinese-English dictionary,
English/Japanese dictionary, Chinese dictionary, idiom dictionary, Tang poetry, as shown the figures below.

3.5.1. Query Text
1) Click any dictionary icon to be queried, enter the query content in the input box, and click the query button
to view the query result.

Note: The recording time can be up to 4 hours.
3.6.1. How to Start Recording
1) Click the “+” icon to build a new recording, then choose the recording language. Click the “Microphone”
icon to start recording, click the “√” icon to end recording. As shown the figures below.

3.6.2. Check the Contents of Recording
1) After the recording is completed, click the corresponding recording to enter the recording viewing interface.
Then click the “Pause” icon to broadcast the recording.

3.7. Favorites
This module is used to collect some frequently forgotten words and sentences or voice recordings. During
subsequent use of the product, these contents can be viewed in Favorites. The contents of this module include
scan translation, Chinese-English dictionary, English/Chinese dictionary, English/Japanese dictionary, Chinese
dictionary, idiom dictionary, word bank, and voice translation. As shown in the images below.

3.8. Vocabulary
There are 10 built-in dictionaries, namely primary school dictionary, junior high school dictionary, high school
dictionary, college English CET-4 dictionary, college English CET-6 dictionary, postgraduate dictionary, IELTS
dictionary, TOEFL dictionary, SAT dictionary, GRE dictionary, as shown the figures below.

3.9.1. Wi-Fi Setting
1) After entering the Wi-Fi setting, turn on the Wi-Fi switch button, then click the “Refresh” button, select the
Wi-Fi network to be connected, enter the corresponding Wi-Fi password, and click “Join”. After the
connection is completed, a tick will be displayed in front of the corresponding Wi-Fi.

3.9.2. Bluetooth Setting
Note: The Bluetooth of this machine only supports connecting to devices such as Bluetooth earphones and
Bluetooth speakers.
1) After entering the Bluetooth setting, turn on the Bluetooth switch button, then click the “Refresh” button,
select the device to be connected in “Available devices”. After the connection is completed, the “Paired
devices” will display the connected device name.

3.9.3. Scan Method Setting
There are two scanning directions: horizontal scanning and vertical scanning, and there are left-hand and
right-hand scanning options for horizontal scanning. The selected options will be followed by a tick.
