Small Tip to Save You Big Headache
A digitalcamera is ina way verysimilar to a computer. If the digital camerahangs itself during
operation, please followthe procedures belowand most likelythe camera can be re-activated.
1. Remove thebatteries.
2. Reload thebatteries.
3. Switch onthe camera.
Do not tryto disassemble thecamera by yourself,which may damage the camera orcause electric shock.
Do not firethe flash ina close distance (less than 1meter); it may hurt your eyes.
Keep the cameraaway from thereach of children or animals toprevent them from swallowing the batteries or small accessories.
Stop using thecamera if anykind of liquid or foreign objectenter the camera. If it happens, power off thecamera and contact with
your dealer forfurther help.
Do not operatethis camera withwet hands; it may cause electric shock.
The camera maybe damaged inan environment of high temperature.
Do not usedifferent types ofbatteries or new and used batteriesat the same time.
Toavoid electricity leakage,please remove thebatteries if thecamera is notin use for a long period.
It is normalthat the temperatureof the camera body rises ifthe camera works for a long time.
Turn On or Off the Camera
Press down the"POWER" button toturn on the camera.
Repeat the wayabove to turnoff the camera.
Loading the Batteries 1. Power offthe camera.
2. Slide outBattery Chamber Coverto open it.
3. Load 2 AAbatteries into the battery chamber following
the polarity indications.
4. Close theBattery Chamber Cover.
The below symbolson the LCD Monitor are theindication of
the battery status.
( ):Batterypower is full.
( ):Battery poweris half drained.Have new batteries ready.
( ):Battery poweris drained. Replacewith new batteries.
2 pcs ofAAalkaline / Ni-MH batteries are strongly
recommended for normaloperation.
The power ofbatteries may runoff if the batteries are kept
inside the camerafor a longtime without using. Please
remove the batterieswhen the camerais not in use.
Do not usemanganese batteries whichthey cannot supply
sufficient power tosupport the operation of the camera.
Batteries may notwork normally under0 C or over 40 C.
It's normal thatthe temperature ofthe camera rises after
used for along period.

Basic Photography
1. Press downthe POWER buttonto turn on the camera.
3. Use TELE/WIDEButtonto zoom in and zoom out.
4. Press theshutter button halfway to do the focusing andthen press the shutter button fullydown to capturean image.
5. The LEDIndicator starts blinking right after theShutter Button is released. Once the LED Indicator stopsblinking, you are
ready to take another shot.
6. Or you canpress Playback Button( ) to review the imagesor movie clips you just took.
2. Set the Mode Button at Image Shooting Mode ( ) forstill image, DigitalMusic Player ( ) for digiatal music playing and
Movie Clip Mode ( ) for video recording.

Connecting the Camera to a PictBridge-supported Printer
1. Have both ofthe camera andthe printer power on.
2. Press theMENU Button togo to SETUP Mode.
3. Go toUSB and selectPRINTER for printer connection.
4. Use thesupplied USB cableto connect the camera to the
PictBridge-supported printer asshown above.
If the printeryou have supportsthe interface ofPictBridge, then youcan have yourcamera connected
with the printer by the supplied USB cable to have the stored images print out directly.
Connect the USB/Videoconnector of the camera to video
input ports ofthe TV setwith the supplied Video/USB Cable.
Press down theLEFT or RIGHTdirection Button to go to the
next or lastimage for TVreviewing.
Turn on theTV and switch the TV/Video switchto A/Vmode.
Power on thecamera and thenswitch to the Playback Mode.

PC Mode fromany working modeand turn off TFT LCD monitor.
