Der Aufbau entspricht den europ ischen und nationalen Anforderungen zur elektromagnetischen Vertr glichkeit. Die Konformit t wurde
nachgewiesen. Die entsprechenden Unterlagen sind beim Hersteller hinterlegt.
1 Bestimmungsgemäße Verwendung
Der Repeater RT-12 ist Bestandteil einer Rufanlage und erhöht innerhalb des Geb udes die Reichweite zwischen einer Basisstation
und anderen Funkteilnehmern.
Bei Anwendungen, die eine Auswirkung auf die Sic er eit mensc lic en Lebens aben können, ist zu beac ten, dass
bei Funkverbindungen immer eine Störungsgefa r beste t. Die Betriebsanleitung ist unbedingt zu beac ten!
Der Repeater darf nicht ver ndert bzw. umgebaut werden und kann anmelde- und gebührenfrei betrieben werden.

2 Systemreic weite
Innerhalb von Geb uden herrschen sehr unterschiedliche, bautechnisch bedingte Verh ltnisse.
Üblicherweise sind mit dem System dennoch Reichweiten von 80 Metern zu erzielen. Für weiter abgelegene, oder funktechnisch
schwer zug ngliche Orte können Repeater eingesetzt werden, die sich nahtlos in das System einfügen.
Mögliche Ursachen für verminderte Reichweite:
Bebauung jeder Art oder Vegetation beeinflussen die Reichweite.
Der Abstand der Antenne zum Körper wie auch zu anderen leitenden Fl chen oder Gegenst nden (hierzu z hlt auch der
Erdboden) geht stark in die Strahlungscharakteristik ein und beeinflusst somit die Reichweite.
Das "Grundrauschen" in nicht l ndlichen Gebieten kann bereits relativ hoch sein, wodurch der Signal-Störabstand verringert wird
und damit die Reichweite. Ebenso ist es nicht ausgeschlossen, dass Ger te mit hnlichen Arbeitsfrequenzen in der Nachbarschaft
betrieben werden und somit den Empf nger scheinbar unempfindlicher machen.
Ist der Empf nger in der N he von schlecht abgeschirmten, störstrahlungsproduzierenden Ger ten (z.B. PC), können ebenfalls
starke Reichweite-einbußen oder sogar das scheinbare Aussetzen des Empf ngers auftreten.
Die abgleic baren und offenen Bauelemente dürfen nic t verstellt, verbogen oder manipuliert werden!
3 Besc reibung
Repeater RT-12 werden mit einem Steckernetzteil für den Anschluss am 230V Hausnetz ausgeliefert. Nach Einstecken ist der
Repeater sofort einsatzbereit. Zudem verfügt der Repeater RT-12 über eine unterbrechungsfreie Stromversorgung. Setzen Sie dafür
die 9V Block Batterie in den vorgesehenen Halter ein.
Benutzen Sie möglichst eine Steckdose, die nicht für andere Zwecke benötigt wird, da der RT-12 nur mit angeschlossenem
Steckernetzteil funktioniert. Sichern Sie den Stecker vor unrechtm ßigem Entfernen.
Sofern RT-12 bereits an der Basisstation angemeldet ist (siehe auch Anleitung der Basisstation), können Sie nach einem geeigneten
Aufstellungsort suchen. Wir empfehlen, die gewünschte Erhöhung der Reichweite vor der definitiven Montage zu testen.
Zur Befestigung muss das Geh use komplett geöffnet und die vorgesehenen Aussparung ausgebrochen werden. Im Anschluss kann
der Repeater einfach an einer Schraube oder einem Haken aufgeh ngt werden.
Prüfen Sie die einwandfreie Rufübertragung in regelmäßigen Abständen!

These operating instructions form an integral part of this product and contain important information on how to commission, install and
operate it. They must be taken into consideration and given to the end user or other third party when the installer hands over the
product. These operating instructions must be retained for future reference.
Damage resulting from abuse or misuse is not covered by warranty. The manufacturer accepts no warranty for consequential losses
that may result directly or indirectly from use of this equipment. Any changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party
responsible for compliance could void the user´s authority to operate the equipment.
The product meets the requirements of the current European and national guidelines for electromagnetic compatibility. Conformity has been
established and the relevant statements and documents have been deposited at the manufacturer.
1 Mode of Operation
The Repeater RT-12 is part of a calling system and increases the range of operation inside a building between a base station and other
calling devices.

present a potential azard due to extraneous disturbances. T e Operating Instructions need to be followed at all
times.
It is forbidden to modify or change component parts of this product!
2 Range of operation
Inside of buildings there are various technical conditions that may influence strongly the range of operation. Nevertheless up to 80m
meters may be reached with the calling system. In case the range of operation should be enhanced, you may insert repeaters as an
integral part of the system.
The range may be reduced for the following reasons:
Buildings, vegetation or any other objects will substantially reduce the operating range.
The distance between the antenna and the human body or other conducting objects (e.g. Earth)
"Background electrical noise" could be relatively high so that the signal-to-noise-ratio decreases and there for the range.
Also other devices, with similar operating frequency, located within the neighbourhood may disturb the receiver.
Operating the receiver next to inadequately shielded electronic boards or other devices (e.g. PC’s) that produce electromagnetic
radiation, can substantially reduce the range of operation and could result in an apparent intermittent operation.
It is forbidden to modify, c ange or manipulate component parts of t e product!
3 Description of Operation
The repeater RT-12 is equipped with a 230V AC adapter to be connected at mains supply. After connection the repeater is running
immediately. In addition, the repeater RT-12 includes an interruption-free power supply. To benefit from this feature, insert the 9V block
battery in the intended holder.
As supply for RT-12 please use a 230V socket which is reserved for this repeater because its function only is assured with supply.
Protect the plug against unauthorized removal.
If the RT-12 is already teached in at the base station (see manual of the base station), you may search for a suitable location. We
recommand to test the desired range of operation before installing the repeater definitly.
For wall-attachment, the housing must be completely opened and the intended recess has to be broken. Afterwards the repeater can
simply be hung on a screw or a hook.
