INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Atmosphere Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 AC Power Cables from Synergistic Research feature
the world’s first use of Graphene in an AC power product. With the highest current density of
any known material, Graphene is near “superconductive” at room temperature. Graphene
imparts performance characteristics not found in other power cables. Level 2 and Level 3
Atmosphere cables include built in UEF filters with internal power supplies for “Active
Shielding”, no external power supplies to mess with; simply plug and play like conventional
passive cords. Thanks to Graphene, Atmosphere power cables are thinner and more flexible
than the models they replace. Atmosphere Series Power Cables have UEF technology built in to
further enhance the performance of your system.

Please read this entire owner’s manual before setting up and using your Synergistic Research
Atmosphere Series Power Cables.
Atmosphere Power Cables — Level 2 and Level 3
Levels 2 and Level 3 Atmosphere Series Cables come with an (optional) New RED Active
Shield Filter for tweaking the sound and providing a better match for your system needs. Level
3 also comes with an additional (optional) Custom GOLD UEF Calibration Module which allows
for further flexibility in tuning your system and will add warmth, liquidity and musicality to
presentation.
Important Set-Up Instructions
- Only ever connect or disconnect Atmosphere Series Power Cables with your entire system
OFF.
- Only ever connect or disconnect (optional) RED Active Shield Filter or GOLD UEF Tuning
Module with your entire system OFF.
- Make sure that ALL connections are firmly in place before turning ON your component or
system.Turn your system ON

WARNING – Power Source
Never plug your Synergistic Research Atmosphere Power Cable into a power outlet that differs from the
source indicated for safe use with the Power cable. If you don’t know the type of electrical power that is
supplied, consult your local power company or a qualified electrician.
WARNING – Grounding and Polarization
Do not force your Synergistic Research Atmosphere Power Cable into an outlet that is not designed to
accept grounded AC plugs. The plug is to be inserted into a grounded type outlet only. If this plug doesn’t fit
directly into your outlet, do not attempt to force it into the outlet. Never attempt to dismantle or alter the
plug or power cord in any way. If you have any questions about grounding, consult your local power
company or a qualified electrician.
WARNING – Power Cable Safety
When routing your Synergistic Research Atmosphere power do not place them near heavy foot traffic areas
(e.g., hallways, doorways etc.). If your power cable’s protective jacket begins to rip or fray, exposing the
internal wiring, shielding, etc., disconnect it from your power source and discontinue use.
WARNING – No User-serviceable Parts Inside
Never attempt to open your Synergistic Research Atmosphere Power Cable. All cables are factory sealed
and cannot be opened. There are no user serviceable parts inside. In the unlikely event of need for repair,

WARNING – Proper Grounding
Your Synergistic Research Atmosphere Power Cable requires properly grounded outlet for best
performance and most importantly, for safety. If you are not sure if the electrical wiring is properly
grounded, have it checked by a qualified electrician before making any connections to the cable.
WARNING
Always make sure the system is turned OFF before connecting or disconnecting Atmosphere Series Power
Cables. Not following this instruction may result in a loud “pop” which may damage tweeters or other
components.
WARNING – Liquid: Avoiding Electrical Shocks
Disconnect Atmosphere Series Power Cables if any kind of liquid has been splashed or spilled near or onto
them. Do not use the Synergistic Research Atmosphere Series Power Cables near rain or other liquids
spilled or contained (e.g., bathtub, kitchen or sink).
WARNING – Storm Precautions
In the event of a lightning storm DISCONNECT ALL of your components from the wall.
Do not reconnect your components until the storm is well passed. Remember: If you can hear thunder,
lightning and its potentially destructive effects are nearby.
