Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this SynerTech product.
This Video door phone System is an easy-to-use and DIY installed video interphone system.
To obtain the best performance from this product, please read through this manual carefully. It
will guide you to operate a full set of HD-2192 and how to connect with out door camera and
the electronic door lock.

Preparation For Installation

The above diagram shows the position of the camera set and the phone unit. Recommended
installation height is approximately 165cm* from the ground level for both unit.( In Asian
countries, the recommended height should be 150cm. )

1. Following the wiring diagram, connect the provided cable between the camera and the
phone unit. Then connect the wires to the corresponding position between camera and
main unit. i.e. Red wire =>1R; White wire => 2W; Brown
Wire=>3B;Yellow wire=>4Y.
2. If the Electronic Door Release is to be used, connect the “Door Open” key to the
terminals as shown 5K1 & 6K2. Another adaptor needs to be connected for the door
lock in order to supply electricity to it. Make sure that the operating current and voltage
between the adaptor and the electronic door lock are the same. E.g. if the operating
voltage and the current for the door strike are 12V & 800mA, the operating voltage and
current need to be 12V & 800mA as well from the power supply of adaptor. Please use
the electronic door lock that the operating current is under 5A.
For the best quality of the image, please follow the below instruction to choose the length of
cable.

Indoor/Outdoor unit installation
1. Connect 4-wires to indoor units and the outdoor unit according to the “Cable connection”,
and referring to the “Recommended installation height” diagram(See fig.4) to locate and
mark the screw’s positions onto the wall.(See fig.6)

2. Locate and mark screwing positions on the wall.
3. Drill the screws in but leave 5mm exposed. Hang the indoor unit on the screw and let it
leveled against the wall.
4. Ensuring the connecting cable runs tidily from indoor to outdoor unit.
Installation precautions
Before installing this product, please bear in mind of the following:
DO NOT position the units where they will be subjected to extreme moisture,
temperature, rust or dust.
DO NOT install the outdoor unit to where it will be exposed to direct sunlight, rain or
extreme moisture.Aclosed-in porch or sheltered area is an ideal location.
DO NOT overload mains wall outlets or extension cords.
DO NOT install near to other electronic equipment.
DO NOT install near the source of acid oxides, ammonia, or any harmful gas.
Operating Instructions
Identifying
Step 1: When a visitor presses the “Call” button on the outdoor unit, an electronic door
chime will spell out from the indoor unit and the camera in the outdoor unit will activate.
--Assuming that the visitor is standing within the range of the camera that you can see
the visitor on the monitor screen of the indoor unit.
After identifying the visitor you can:
Step 2: Talk to the visitor who is shown on the screen by press once “TALK”KEY just as
you do with regular phone.
To end the conversation and turn off the outdoor camera unit.
Step 3:
--By pressing the “Call” button on the outdoor unit, the camera will activate for 60
seconds.
-- Video will be off and the conversation will stop when you press once again the “TALK ”
KEY .
Electronic door release (option)
If you equip the Electronic Door Release system with your Video door phone System,
you can let your visitor in by pressing the “Door Open” button.
Monitoring callers
The camera is activated when the “monitor On”button is pressed without
awareness of people outside.
The video is still kept on for 1 min if the “monitor On”button is pressed once.
Press once “monitor Off” key can turn off the main unit.

Monitor speaker volume adjustment
The indoor unit speaker volume adjustment hole on the back of the monitor, The
end user can use the small flat type or plus type screw driver adjust the
semi-fixed resistor change the output sound like them desire level. If the output
too loud will generate some feed back noise. To avoid this problem, please try to
reduce the sound volume by adjusting.
Operation Precautions
DO NOT drop or shake the unit or subject the unit to shock.
DO NOT clean the unit with benzene, thinners, or any solvents. Wipe off dust and marks
with a soft cloth which is slightly moistened in mild soapy water.
DO disconnect from the main power if the unit is not be used for a while.
DO NOT connect the unit to public telephone network.
WARNING
-To prevent injury, this apparatus must be securely attached to the wall in
accordance with the installation instructions.
-Power adaptor shall remain readily operable after installation.
-The unit may malfunction when there is radio interference appeared on the
power line. The unit will revert to normal operation when the interference
stops.
-Under the environment with radio frequency interference, the sample may
malfunction and require user to reset the sample.
-Not for outdoor use.
