2 Safety instructions
This device is designed for sound reinforcement. Use the device only as described in this user
manual. Any other use or use under other operating conditions is considered to be improper
and may result in personal injury or property damage. No liability will be assumed for damages
resulting from improper use.
This device may be used only by persons with sucient physical, sensorial, and intellectual
abilities and having corresponding knowledge and experience. Other persons may use this
device only if they are supervised or instructed by a person who is responsible for their safety.

Danger for children
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are disposed of properly and are not within reach of babies and young children. Choking
hazard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or the like) from the unit. They could swallow the pieces and
choke! Never let children unattended use electrical devices.

Electric shock caused by high voltages inside
Within the device there are areas where high voltages may be present. Never remove any covers. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside. Do not use the device if covers, protectors or optical components are missing or damaged.

DANGER!
Electric shock caused by short-circuit
Always use proper ready-made insulated mains cabling (power cord) with a protective contact plug. Do not modify the mains cable
or the plug. Failure to do so could result in electric shock/death or re. If in doubt, seek advice from a registered electrician.
CAUTION!
Possible hearing damage
The device can produce volume levels that may cause temporary or permanent hearing impairment. Over an extended period of
time, even levels that seem to be uncritical can cause hearing damage. Decrease the volume level immediately if you experience
ringing in your ears or hearing impairment. If this is not possible, keep a greater distance or use sucient ear protectors.
NOTICE!
Radio interference
This device emits electromagnetic signals. This can cause interference due to overlapping radio waves. Do not use the device in
locations where the use of wireless devices is prohibited.

Do not block areas of ventilation. Do not install the device near any direct heat source. Keep the device away from naked ames.

Power supply
Before connecting the device, ensure that the input voltage (AC outlet) matches the voltage rating of the device and that the AC
outlet is protected by a residual current circuit breaker. Failure to do so could result in damage to the device and possibly injure the
user. Unplug the device before electrical storms occur and when it is unused for long periods of time to reduce the risk of electric
shock or re.

Operating conditions
This device has been designed for indoor use only. To prevent damage, never expose the device to any liquid or moisture. Avoid
direct sunlight, heavy dirt, and strong vibrations. Only operate the device within the ambient conditions specied in the chapter
‘Technical specications’ of this user manual. Avoid heavy temperature uctuations and do not switch the device on immediately
after it was exposed to temperature uctuations (for example after transport at low outside temperatures). Dust and dirt inside can
damage the unit. When operated in harmful ambient conditions (dust, smoke, nicotine, fog, etc.), the unit should be maintained by
qualied service personnel at regular intervals to prevent overheating and other malfunction.

Possible damage due to installation of a wrong fuse
The use of dierent types of fuses can cause serious damage to the unit. Fire hazard! Only fuses of the same type may be used.

Possible staining
The plasticiser contained in the rubber feet of this product may possibly react with the coating of your surface and after some time
cause permanent dark stains. In case of doubt, do not put the rubber feet directly on the surface and use a suitable underlay if neces‐
sary, i.e. felt-pad oor protectors or similar.

4 Starting up
Unpack and check carefully there is no transportation damage before using the unit. Keep the
equipment packaging. To fully protect the product against vibration, dust and moisture during
transportation or storage use the original packaging or your own packaging material suitable
for transport or storage, respectively.
Create all connections while the device is o. Use the shortest possible high-quality cables for
all connections. Take care when running the cables to prevent tripping hazards.
nThis equipment uses a frequency range that is free of charge and registration within the
European Union.

Possible property damage by magnetic elds
Loudspeakers produce a static magnetic eld. Therefore, maintain an appropriate
distance to devices that can be adversely aected or damaged by an external
magnetic eld.
The unit can be mounted on a tripod or set up on the oor or a suciently sized and stable
surface.

Use of stands
When mounting the device onto a stand, ensure that the stand is in a safe and
stable position and that the weight of the device does not exceed the maximum
permissible load capacity of the stand.

3 Mic / line inputs 1 and 2, designed as ¼" jack socket, balanced

5[PAIR]
To establish a Bluetooth® connection, press and hold the button for three seconds to search for Bluetooth-enabled
devices ready for pairing. The LED ashes. The Bluetooth® list of the device to be paired displays "Bluetooth". Accept
the connection. After a successful connection, the LED lights up continuously.

7[TWS]
With the TWS function (TrueWirelessStereo) you can connect 2 loudspeakers to each other in order to transmit the
Bluetooth® signal in stereo.
To pair two speakers, press and hold the button on the rst speaker that is already connected to a pairing device for
three seconds. The LED ashes. Repeat the process on the second speaker. After successful pairing, the LEDs of both
loudspeakers light up continuously.
8[AUX]
AUX input, designed as a 3.5 mm jack socket (stereo), for connecting line level devices such as MP3 or CD players
9[MASTER]
Rotary control for adjusting the treble and bass in a range of +/- 10 dB for treble and +/- 6 dB for bass
10 [LINE OUT]
Line output, designed as XLR chassis plug. This is where the combined signal from both inputs, the AUX and Blue‐
tooth® inputs, is available aected by DSP and the tone control.

11 [SIG/LIMIT]
The LED lights up yellow when a signal is detected at one of the two mic / line inputs. The LED lights up red as soon
as the input level is too high on one of the channels.
Make sure that the LED does not light up red for a long period of time in order to ensure optimal sound quality.
12 [DSP SELECT]
Button to select the DSP function. Repeatedly press the button to choose between the sound programmes [Music],
[Vocal/LowCut], [Live] and [Stage Monitor]. The corresponding LED lights.
13 [VOLTAGE SELECTOR]

14 [ON] / [OFF]
Mains switch. Turns the device on and o.
