2.ExecuteNetworkEnablerAdministratorprogramafterinstall.

1.Click on Configurationfromthe menu bar,andthen select Broadcast
Searchfromthedrop-downmenu.
2.A Searchingwindowwill open,showingthat the programissearching for
networkmoduleconnected tothisnetwork.

3.Afterthe searchisfinished,all networkmodulefoundwill be showninthe
right panelofthe Configuration window. Ifyoulocatemorethan one
moduleconnectedtothisnetwork, refertotheMACaddress onthe
module(s)todeterminewhichmodulesarethe onesyou wishtoconfigure.
4.Doubleclick selectednetworkmoduleyou wishtoconfigure,the
Configuration windowwill open.

5.TheConfiguration windowhas9tabs: Basic,Network, Serial, Operating
Mode,AccessibleIPs,Auto Warning, IP Address Report, Passwordand
DigitalIO.
SYRIS SYRD245-1Nserieswill use3tabsinnetworkmodule. (Network,
SerialandOperatingMode), wewillshowmoredetail withtheseparts
below.
6.Network: You mustassignavalidIP addresstonetworkmodulebeforeit
will workinyournetworkenvironment. Yournetworksystemadministrator
shouldprovide you withanIP address andrelated settingsforyour
network. The IP address mustbeuniquewithinthenetwork. You can
choosefromfourpossibleIP Configurationmodes:Static, DHCP,
DHCP/BOOTP and BOOTP.

8.OperatingMode:
Threedifferent SocketModesand onerealCOMmodesareavailable:
TCP Server, TCP Client, and UDPServer/Client. The maindifference
between the TCPandUDP protocolsisthatTCP guaranteesdeliveryof
databyrequiringthe recipienttosendanacknowledgementtothesender.
UDP doesnotrequirethistype ofverification,makingit possibletooffer
speedierdelivery. UDPalsoallowsmulticasting ofdatatogroupsofIP
addresses.

2.Select the COMMappinginfunction group.
3.Add the target towhichyou wouldliketomapCOMports.

4.Thenetworkmoduleslist thatappearswill be basedontheBroadcast
Searchon theConfiguration.Selectthenetworkmodulestowhichyou
want tomap COMports.
5.Systemwill automatchaCOMportwithselected networkmodules.

9.Afterset theCOMMapping, remembertoselect ApplyChangetosave
the informationinthe host systemregistry. Thehost computerwill not be
abletousethe COMport until afterselectingApplyChange.
10.When you finished COMMapping, you canexecuteSYRIS XtiveUtility
programtoreadTAG and setparameters.

4.FieldIntroduction:
a.UID: Tag’sidentificationnumber.
b.RSSI: Received SignalStrengthIndication (0-255). Readingrange
and RSSI areinverseproportion.
c.LQI: Linkqualityindicator(0-255).
d.DI: TAG statusandindicator.
[BAT]meansTAG batterywaslow.
[SW] meansTAG call buttonwasclicked.
[SENSOR]meanslightsensorhavedetect light. (OnlyforWristband TAG)
[START]meansTAG restart.
e.T1: Ambient temperaturesensor (OnlyforWristband TAG)
f.T2: Skintemperaturesensor (OnlyforWristband TAG)
Note: T1 / T2 / SENSOR use foranti-tampercapability.
