Homeowners Guide

Welcome.
Congratulations. Your home has been pre-fitted with the very
latest, installed multi-room audio entertainment system from
Systemline. This means you can enjoy the highest quality
musical experience across your home.
Getting Started.
1. You will need an Android or Apple
smart phone or tablet
2. You will need to install the
Systemline 7 App from the App store
for the main operation of the system

3
What is Systemline 7?
Systemline 7 is a music system wired into the very fabric of your home so that
you can enjoy all music or radio you wish in fantastic sound quality without a
single physical box intruding into your living space.
Just like your light switches and heating system, music is built into your home.
S7 allows you to play internet radio stations, your own stored digital music library
or music on demand from providers such as Deezer, Spotify and BBC iPlayer
Radio into any room fitted with S7.
As well as using the S7 Apple or Android App on your smart phone or tablet,
you may also have conveniently fitted keypads to select your favourite music or
radio from one button press.
Take a look through this guide which will give you a few simple facts about what
the system can do and what equipment you may find installed in your home.

4
Behind the Scenes
The heart of Systemline 7
is hidden away out of sight,
usually in a cupboard so it
doesn’t invade your living
space. It will probably be
installed in a neat purposed
designed metal enclosure like
this one.
What Do I Have In My Home?

5
The Netserver
The Netserver is the digital music
storage box and enables access to
internet services. It is the repository
for all of your stored music files
(up to 24bit/192Kz). It boasts a
capacity of more than 1 million
tracks and is the gateway for all of
the internet services. The NetServer
also supports automatic CD ripping
& album art detection in addition to
the transfer of existing digital music
files over your network. iTunes
integration is supported via a 3rd party
application called SuperSync and it is
recommended that your iTunes library
is mirrored to the NetServer drive.
The Amplifier
This unit is a compact
Hi-Fi amplifier & zone* controller.
The NetAmp unit connects to
the NetServer via a direct digital
connection with a provision for two
further inputs and it provides stereo
Hi-Fi amplification and control for
each room. Each NetAmp services
two rooms and Systemline 7 supports
fully independent choice of music in
up to 24 different rooms.
*A zone is typically a room but may also
cover a larger open plan area

6
Keypads
You don’t always have to rely on using
your smartphone or tablet to control
your music. You might find the KPS11
hard button keypads dotted around
your home. It is the most convenient
way to quickly and easily control your
S7 system. Simply walk into a room
and press a button to listen to your
favorite radio station or music playlists.
You can also pause and skip tracks as
well as controlling the room volume.
Speakers
Depending on the number of zones you have you will find in-
ceiling speakers throughout your home. The Q Acoustics
in-ceiling speakers feature the latest stereo speaker technology
so that you can enjoy wonderful sound, while remaining
effortlessly discreet across your home.
Now you can listen to the same or different music in as
many rooms you wish, avoiding the inconvenience of placing
conventional, free standing speakers in every room.
Removable and
paintable grilles

7
TV Connectivity / Input
Your home might be fitted with a Local Input Module (LIM) which is designed
to auto switch the Systemline system on when it detects an audio signal from
compatible TV’s. This means that the action of switching on a TV will automatically
feed the TV sound through the Systemline Hi-Fi speaker system. Likewise, it will
switch off when the TV is switched off.
The LIM will even automatically switch from Systemline music to TV sound, and
vice-versa once the TV is switched off. If you have multiple TV’s you would like to
connect, please contact your installer.
A further bonus, is that both Sky & Virgin remotes can be used to directly control
the volume & on/standby functions of the S7 system.
You might have all or just some of the above fitted throughout your home.
You will be able to find this information directly from your installer.
Now take a look at the Quick User Guide to get you up and running,
