AirWay Multizone (4 Zone)
A multi zone audio distribution system designed
for use with a network connected music source

Systemline AirWay Multizone is designed to be installed into your home so that you can
enjoy music from your mobile device wirelessly in any room of your choice. Each zone
amplier also has a local audio input allowing you to easily plug in the sound from a TV.
The following instructions assume that you are competent in general DIY skills. You will
need to locate and mount the central hub and power supply, and connect speakers and
Cat5 cable to the ampliers. If you are not condent in doing this then you should seek
professional assistance.
We strongly recommend that you connect the system together before installing it to
ensure that you are comfortable it will all work well in your home.

Determine Cat5 location in each zone. One cable from the hub (A) to each
amplier (B) is required.
Mount the hub bracket on the wall and t hub (A) in the central source location.
Plug in a ZAM (B) in each zone using the Cat5 cable and patch cables (F) and (G).

Connect a keypad (E) in each zone:
Select a 3 metre data patch cable (F) and cut o the plug at one end only. Peel back
the cut end and terminate the brown, white/brown, blue and white/blue wires to the
connector as shown below. Note: do not strip o the conductor sleeving. The other four
green and orange wires are not used.
Use the supplied punch down tool to push each cable down rmly. Note: make sure
that the largest tooth of the tool is on the side of the terminal block with the coloured
sticker as shown above (right).

Make sure your audio source is playing music rst.
Power LED lights up red when in standby.
The ZAM shows a blue LED indicating that the zone is on.
Press the power button on the keypad to turn the
zone on. Use the volume up and volume down
buttons to increase or decrease the volume. Pressing
the power button again switches to local source (see
below) and a third press goes back to standby.
The ZAM shows a green LED when playing from a local
source.
Note: The local input can be disabled on the keypad by pressing the volume up button
and the power button simultaneously. Repeat this procedure to re-enable the local input.
