Care and maintenance
xTo clean the casing, unplug the unit and wipe off dust and stains with a soft cloth moistened with a mild soap and water solution only. Do
not use benzene, thinner or similar chemicals to clean the casing.
xDo not place naked flame sources such as lighted candles on the apparatus.
xPay attention to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.
xUse the apparatus only in moderate climates (not in tropical climates).
If at any time in the future you should need to dispose of this product, please note that waste electrical products should not be
disposed of with household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Turn the battery compartment door lock and then open the battery compartment door.
2. 1 button cell 1.5V battery (LR44) is supplied with the unit and is already installed. Take out the insulating sheet for clock operation. For
radio operation, insert 2 AAA/UM4 batteries (not supplied) with the polarities (+/-) matching the engraved markings in the battery
compartment. Reversed batteries may cause damage to the unit.
3. Replace the battery compartment door and turn the door lock to fix it in position.
Precautions when using batteries
1. CAUTION: Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or an equivalent type of battery.
2. Do not mix different types of batteries together (e.g. alkaline, rechargeable and standard (carbon zinc)) or old batteries with fresh ones.
3. Exhausted batteries must be removed to prevent possible battery leakage.
4. Dispose of batteries properly according to environmental regulations.
TIME SETTING
Set the date and time
1. With the button cell 1.5V battery (LR44) inserted, press the MODE button to display the date.
2. Press the MODE button again to display the month and then press the SET button to adjust.
3. Repeat the above step (2) to adjust the day, hours and minutes.
4. After setting, press the MODE button to display the clock time.
5. To check the date, press the SET button once. To display the sec ds, press it again.on
orNote: When the button cell battery is removed, the settings are saved f 30 seconds to allow you to insert a new battery.
RADIO OPERATION
Listening to FM radio
1. Turn the VOLUME /OFF dial to turn on the radio.
2. Turn the TUNING dial to receive a station.
3. Adjust sound volume level by turning the VOLUME /OFF dial.
4. To turn off the radio, turn the VOLUME /OFF dial to the OFF position until you hear a click sound.
Note: The FM antenna is built into the unit. To achieve optimum reception, try to orientate or re-locate the unit.
OTHER FUNCTIONS
Splash proof
The unit is designed to be splash proof in the shower. However, it should not be immersed in water.
Hanger hook
Hang the unit on the wall using the hanger hook at the back of the unit.
