The user assumes all risk in the assembly and operation of the
gas heater. Failure to follow the instructions and warnings in this
manual can result in property damage, severe personal injury
or death. If you cannot fully understand the instructions in the
manual, please contact your dealer.
• This appliance must be installed and the gas cylinder stored in ac-
cordance with the regulations in force.
• Do not obstruct the ventilation holes of the cylinder housing.
• Use only in well-ventilated areas. An amply ventilated area must have
a minimum of 25% of the surface area open. The surface area is the
sum of the walls’area.
• Never use this appliance in an enclosed space. It is dangerous and
prohibited.
• Do not use the appliance for heating indoor spaces.
• Only use the appliance for space heating.
• Do not use the appliance in basements or below ground level.
• The heater has no temperature sensor. It is designed for outdoor use
only.
• Do not move the appliance when in operation.
• Shut o the valve at the gas cylinder or the regulator before moving
the appliance.
• The tubing or hose must be replaced regularly.
• In case of violent wind, particular attention must be taken against
tilting of the appliance.
• This outdoor heater is not intended to be installed in recreational
vehicles or on boats.
• All maintenance and repair operations must be left to professionals.
• Incorrect installation, adjustment and alterations may cause personal
injury or property damage.
• Do not attempt to make any changes to the appliance.
• Do not replace the regulator with any regulator other than
one recommended by the manufacturer.
• Do not store or use gasoline or other ammable gases or liquids in
the heater.
• Inspect the whole gas system, hose, regulator, pilot and burner for
leaks before use.
• Always use a soapy water solution for leak tests. Never use an open
ame to check for leaks.
• Test all connections for leaks before using the heater.
• Immediately turn o the gas valve if you detect the smell of gas.
• Do not move the heater while it is operating.
• Allow the heater to cool down before moving it.
• Keep the heater’s control compartment, burner and circulation air
passageways clean.
• Frequent cleaning may be required.
• Close the LPG tank valve when the heater is not in use.
• Check the heater immediately if any of the following applies:
- The heater does not reach the correct temperature.
- The burner makes popping noises during use (a slight noise is
normal when the burner is extinguished).
- You can detect the smell of gas and the burner ames look yellow.
• The LPG regulator/hose assembly must be located in the tank cabinet
where the LPG tank is located
• Reinstall the protective parts before using the heater.
• Adults and children must stay away from hot surfaces to avoid burns
and clothing ignition.
• Children must be carefully supervised when they are near the heater.
• Do not place clothing or other ammable materials on or near the
heater.
• Do not place items on or against the appliance.
• Do not store chemicals or ammable materials or spray aerosols near
the appliance.
• Never operate the heater in an explosive atmosphere, like in areas
where gasoline or other ammable and volatile liquids are stored.
• To avoid cracking or shattering, protect the hot glass tube from
rain, water splashes and anything that will cause a sudden change in
temperature.
• You can replace the rubber hose yourself. The length of the hose is
100 cm. The hose must meet the requirements of national regulations.
• LPG characteristics: ammable, explosive, heavier than air, settles in
low areas.
• In its natural state, propane has no odour. An odorant has been add-
ed for safety reasons.
• Skin contact with LPG may cause freeze burns.
• This heater is only intended for use with LPG.
• Use only 5-15 kg (maximum diameter 31 cm and maximum height
60 cm). LP gas cylinders must conform to local regulations in force
concerning safety valves.
• When the heater is not in use, turn the control valve OFF. Close the
gas cylinder valve or pressure regulator after use.
• Never use this appliance in an enclosed space. It is dangerous and
PROHIBITED.
ATTENTION
• Do not use the heater in rain, as the glasses may break if they sud-
denly get wet.
• Always switch o the heater when it rains.
• Do not spill liquid onto the glasses while the heater is operating.
• The glasses become very hot when the heater is operating. Do not
touch the glasses, and keep children away from the heater.
• Always ensure that the heater is stable. The glass may break if the
heater tips over.
• Do not use the heater if the glass is cracked.
