1.1 RemovetheAutoFlushcomponentsfromtheboxandchecktomakesureyouhavealltheparts.

2.1 Checkthatallexistingtoiletplumbingcomponentsarefunctioningproperly. Itisrecommendedtowearprotectivegloves
 whenworkinginsidethetoilettank.
2.2 Shutoffwatertotoilet(usuallyfoundonthewalldirectlyunderthetankonthesamesideastheflushhandle).
2.3 Flushtoiletandholdhandledowntoremoveasmuchwaterfromthetankaspossible. Listentohearifthetankisrefilling. 
 Ifso,makesurethewateriscompletelyturnedoff.
2.4 Markwallforsensorinstallation. Beforeremovingthetankcoverliftupthetoiletseatcover,ifthecovercomesabovethe
 tankmakeasmallpencilmarkonthewalldirectlybackfromthetopofthetoiletseatcover. Ifthetoiletseatdoesnotcome
 abovethetopofthetoilettank,thenusethecenterandtopofthetoilettankasaguideandmakeasmallmarkonthewall. 
 Thenmark21/2"directlyabovethemarkyoujustmade.Themarkwillbeusedlaterintheinstallationasaguideline.
2.5REMOVEthetoilettankcoverandplaceitoutoftheway.
2.6CLOSEtoiletseatcovertoavoiddroppingcomponentsintoilet!
3.1 Detachthewaterfilltubefromtheoverflowpipeandinserttheoverflowpipeclip(G).
Thisclipwillattachtothesideoftheoverflowpipeafterthemotorinstallationiscomplete.
3.2 Loosenhexbolt(C)inthemotormount(B).
3.3 Slidemotormount(B)ontotheoverflowpipe(makesurethehexboltisatthetop). 
 Themotormountmayrequirethe plasticspacer(E)foratightfit. Theplasticspacer
 shouldbeplacedfirstontheoverflowpipeandthenslidethemotormount(B)over
 thespacer(E).
3.4 Alignthetopofthemotormount(B)tothetopoftheoverflowpipe.Tightenhexbolt(C)

4.1 Slidemotor(A)ontothemotormount(B). Rotatethetwocomponentstogether
 tofitinthetankandavoidinterferingwithexistingvalvecomponents. Ensurethe
 topofthemotormount(B)isstillalignedwiththetopoftheoverflowpipe. Keepthe
 electricalsensorcordontheoutsideofthetankwheninstallingthemotor(A).
4.2 Rotatetheactuatorarm(D)onthemotor(A)andalignabovetherubberflapper. 
 Oncethearmisaligned,andthemotor(A)isnotinterferingwithanyoftheinternal
 plumbingcomponents,thentightenthehexbolt(C)usingtheprovidedAllenwrench(F). 
Donotovertorque.
4.3 Determinewhichofthethreeholesonthemotorarm(D), ismostdirectlyalignedabovethe
 flapperchainconnection. Flipthemotorarm(D)upsoyoucaninsertthebeadchainintheselected
 holeandlockthechainintheholeslot. Returnthearmtothepreviouslyalignedposition.
4.4 Attachchainclip(H)onflapperchain2"aboveflapper. Unlockbeadchain(H)from
 motorarm(D)andpulluptotakeoutmostoftheslack. Lockbeadchaininholeslot. 
 Excesschaincanbewrappedaroundmotorarm(D)andsecuredinavailableholeslot.
4.5Installoverflowpipeclip(G)withattachedwaterflowtubeintooverflowpipe.
NOTE:Leavechainattachedtohandle,soflushhandlecanbeusedfor"courtesyflush".
5.1 Alignthesensorsothetopofthesensorassemblycoversthemarkpreviouslymadeonthewall(StepandDiagram2.4).
5.2 Peeloffadhesivebackingfromsensorassemblyandadheretowall. Ifyouhavewallpaperordrywallyoumaywanttousethe
 smallscrews(N)provided(foundinthebatterycompartment)tomounttheremotesensor(I),insteadofusingtheadhesive. 
5.3 Removetheremotesensorcover(I)bytakingthesensorcoverkey(J)andinsertingitintothetwosmallholesatthebottom. Pushin
 androtateupward.
5.4 Installfour(4)"AA"cellalkalinebatteries(Q). Notingthebatterypositionmarksontheinsideofthecompartment.
 Replacecoveronremotesensor.

6.1Checktomakesurethesensorcordandmotorcordwillreachthebatterycompartmentbeforemounting.
6.2RemovebatterycompartmentcoverbyunscrewingthetwoPhillipsscrews. Insidethebatterybox(K)therearetwolarge
 screwsandanchors(L). Placethebatterycompartment(K)inaconvenientlocationunderthetank,ensuringeasyaccess.
6.3Securetowallwithscrewsandanchors,ordouble-sidedtape(R). Note:Thebatterycompartmentmaybemountedusingone
 screwandanchorwiththetopslotfacilitatingeasyremovalforbatteryreplacement. Makesurethemotorcordisplacedinthe
 notchatthebackedgeofthetoilettank(6.3a). Ifthereisnotanotchthenusethetwoclearplasticshims(Q)(6.3b).
6.4Pluginthecordfromthemotor(A)intoeitheroneofthereceptaclesinthebatterycompartment.
6.5Installfour(4)"D"cellalkalinebatteries(P). Notingthebatterypositionmarksontheinsideofthecompartment.Replace
 coveronbatterybox.
7.1Turnwateronandreplacetoilettankcover.
7.2YourAutoFlushunitcomespresetfromthefactory. Ifspecialcircumstancesrequireadjustmentoftheactivationdistance,seeAppendixA–Adjusting
 YourAutoFlush. TheAutoFlushunithasa7minutestart-upsequenceinwhichtheObjectLockSensorwillactivatetheUser-In-ViewgreenL.E.D.
 continuouslyaslongasauserorobjectisinview. Afterthestart-upsequenceiscompletedandwhentheObjectLockSensorhasauserinview,the
 User-In-ViewgreenL.E.D.willflash3timesoncetheuserisinfrontoftheunitforaminimumof5seconds.Thispreventsneedlessflusheswhen
 someonewalksby.

6 EnsureObjectLockSensorisnotdetectingunwantedobjects,bysteppingoutofsensorpathandmakingsuregreenL.E.D.isnotflashing. Ifsensorlocksontoanunwanted
 object,unitwillnotflushproperly. Shortenactivationdistance.
7 Replacesensorcover.
8 After7minutestart-upsequence,thegreenL.E.D.willflashonly3timeswhenauserisinview(aftera5seconddelay).
