1. Before Repair
1. Turn off thepowersupply. Using a10 , 10 Wresistor, connect
bothendsofpowersupplycapacitors(C601, C602) inorderto
dischargethevoltage.
2. Beforeturning thepowersupplyon, aftercompletion ofrepair,
slowlyapplytheprimaryvoltagebyusing apowersupplyvoltage
controllertomake surethat theconsumedcurrentat 50 HzinNO
SIGNALmodeshouldbeshownbelowwithrespecttosupply
voltage230/240 V.

2. Protection Circuitry
The protection circuitrymayhave operatedifeitherof the following conditions is noticed:
-Nosound isheard whenthepowerissupplied.
-Sound stopsduring aperformance.
The functions of this circuitryis to prevent circuitrydamage if, forexample, the positive and
negative speakerconnection wires are shorted, orifspeakersystems with animpedance less
thanthe indicatedratedimpedance of this unitare used.
Ifthis occurs, followthe procedure outlinedbellow:
1. Press theStandby/on button, switchtostandbymode.
2. Determinethecause oftheproblemand correct it.
3. Press theStandby/on button once again, supplythepower.
Note:
Whentheprotection circuitryfunctions, theunitwill notoperate
unless theStandby/on button isfirst switchedStandbyand then
ONagain.

7. To SupplyPower Source and Signal Check
Tooperate this unitSE-HD350 normally, itis necessaryto connectto the unitST-HD350. When
operating the unitSE-HD350, be sure to connectto the unitST-HD350 byconnection cable.
1. Connect withtheTuner(ST-HD350). Referto Fig. 7-1.
2. Connect theACpowersupplycord totheAmplifier/ (SE-HD350).

4. Turn on thepoweroftheAmplifier(SE-HD350).
5. Set INPUTSELECTERtoselect theexternal source (EXT)ofthe
Amplifier(SE-HD350).
6. Inputasound signal toexternal inputterminal oftheTuner(ST-
HD350), and confirm tobeoutputtedfrom thespeaker.
