The IFOAM equipment should NOT be used for anything other than the uses covered in this instruction
manual.
Make sure all the electrical connections and connections for liquids are correct before starting the
equipment.
Do not aim the jet from the lances at people.
Make sure your equipment is placed on a stable, flat surface. Apply the front wheel brakes to keep the
machine stable.
Everybody who uses this equipment must be properly trained.
Mechanical protection gloves and an overall should be worn when using the equipment.
Full face protection equipment must be used to prevent possible chemical splashes reaching the
operator's eyes.

The IFOAM is a machine for producing and applying active foam, and then for rinsing with water. It is
suitable for work in kitchens and food handling companies, and can also be used with aggressive chemicals.
It can also be used in fume exhaust ducts and extraction hoods.
It can be used together with a TEGRAS FORTE or TEGRAS MULTIPRO, or with a manual lance.

This stops the machine immediately.
Operates the Tegras brushing machine motor so that its rotation
is counter-clockwise.

This is a safety measure to avoid unwanted operations. You

operating instructions
Connect the hose to a water supply with a pressure of at least
0.1 bar, adapters are available for different taps, which are
offered as optional accessories.
Connect the hose to your IFOAM water inlet connector.

equipment will not operate.

The IFOAM has a safety system for high inlet water temperature. If the water temperature is above 60 oC, it
may cause faults in the equipment’s internal components.
Therefore the equipment will go into hibernation mode, it will not operate and it will display a high water
temperature warning on the control screen.

Steps for a correct ifoam installation:
Inlet temperature control:

The inlet temperature of the mains water must be
no higher than 60 oC.
The equipment will become active again and operate correctly when the inlet water temperature falls below
60 degrees and the reset button is pressed.

operating instructions
The high-pressure lance enables high-pressure rinsing using a manual lance. It is connected directly to the
Ifoam through a high pressure hose that is connected to the machine at a connector located in the lower rear
part of the equipment. The connection and disconnection must be done with the equipment switched off.
Connect the high pressure hose to the high pressure lance.
To stop it being accidentally activated, the pistol grip has a
safety system for the trigger. This system is released by turning
the safety and fitting it into the trigger.
Connect the hose to the Ifoam.

The high pressure lance can be used not only for high pressure rinsing, but also for low pressure foaming,
with no need to change the lance or the pistol grip.
Both options are selected on the equipment’s control panel.
Using the high-pressure manual lance:
Once the lance and pistol grip assembly is connected, the
correct nozzle is fitted for the required water dispersal angle.
These nozzles can be found in the upper rear of the equipment.
There are four nozzles for high pressure rinsing and one nozzle
for low pressure foaming.
The connection of the nozzle to the lance is done as shown in
the figure.

The lance angle of incidence is set by moving its handle forward and
backwards. The working range is from 20 to 140 degrees.

operating instructions
This connection is done using a low pressure hose. The connection must be done with both devices turned off.
Connect the low pressure hose to the Tegras brushing machine
liquid inlet connector.
Make sure the tap for the Tegras equipment supply is shut off
while the connection is being made.
Open the tap once the connection has been made.
Connect the low pressure hose to the Ifoam.
