Set up the GP B on the measurement screen of the osc oscope (F gure 2)

b) Firmware Upgrade

necessary to upgrade the dong e f rmware on the USB2-GP B A pop up w ndow
w appear to nd cate ncompat b ty and nstruct you to remove the dev ce
Fo ow these steps to upgrade the dong e f rmware
1 Down oad USB2-GP B dong e f rmware upgrade from te edyne ecroy com
Extract th s arch ve to a oca fo der of the contro er computer
(e g , C \Temp)
2 Before reconnecting the USB2-GPIB device, open the W ndows Dev ce
Manager ut ty on your computer Go to the W ndows Start Menu and
choose Contro Pane > System > Dev ce Manager
3 While pressing the dongle button underneath the case, p ug the
USB2-GP B dong e nto the computer USB port The dong e shou d show up
as AT32UC3A n the W ndows Dev ce Manager st of dev ces
4 nsta the Atme USB DFU dr ver
• R ght c ck on AT32UC3A n the Dev ce Manager and choose
Update Dr ver Software
• f us ng W ndows 7, choose Browse my computer for dr ver software ,
f us ng W ndows XP, choose nsta from a st or spec f c ocat on
(Advanced)
• Browse to the Atme _DFU_USB_Dr ver fo der of the extracted
down oad arch ve
