XI-1500 AP OUTDOOR ANTENNA CONFIGURATION
The XI-1500 AP can be use for outdoor enviroments connecting the RF cable to only
one of the antenna connector and configuring the AP unit to transmite and receive only
through it. We recommend use antenna b_only as follow:
1. Use telnet conection to the AP unit. (i.e.: c:\> telnet 192.168.1.1 and press ENTER).
2. Then type your password:

3. Use the set command to view your current antenna mode:
AP292> set , and press ENTER, you should see...

4. Use the following command to configure the antenna to b_only:
AP292> set antenna b_only , and press ENTER
5. Save the changes to the AP unnit using:
AP292> save , and press ENTER, then you should see...

6. Use the reset command to reboot the AP unit and load the new settings:

7. Now, you AP unit is ready to use the antenna B connector only.
