MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE SERVICE (MMS)
With MMS (Multimedia Message Service) you are able to
send messages including text, pictures, sounds,…

create a new one.
Creating a message: Enter menu with _
go to Messages _MMS _select Create new MMS with .
¡Number: enter number with keypad or Phonebook
¡Subject: enter the headline of the message
¡Content: enter text with the keypad and/or choose Options
with to Add picture.
Sending a message: After creating your MMS,
choose Done with and conrme Send with .
TELME EMERGENCY SYSTEM
You can store up to 5emergency numbers (family, neighbours,
friends, emergency services).
¡In case of an emergency press the emergency button on the
reverse side of the mobile telephone either for 3seconds or
3times within 3seconds. The emergency key will still work
when the key lock is enabled.
By pressing the emergency button the emergency sequence
is started. Up to 5 numbers will be called in a predetermined
order until someone answers the emergency call.
This process is repeated 3 times.
¡If no emergency number is dened, your prepaid-card is
out of charge or you are outside of the home network of
your network operator, the international emergency
number 112 will be called.
¡During the emergency sequence a warning tone is played
back, to inform the people around you about the emergency.
PleaseNote: By answering the emergency call, the called
person have to dial the 3 times, during the first minute of
the call. (Dialling the 3 x by the receiver of the call ensures
that your emergency call is not forwarded to an answering
machine or voicemail).
Saving emergency numbers:
Go to Phone book _Emergency numbers _
Add Emerg. No _choose EmNo. (1-5) _specify whether it
is a Private number or a Helporganisation _
choose a contact in Phone book _nished
PleaseNote: If you choose Private number the receiver has to
dial 3x . By a Helporganisation, a recall is not required.
Enable the emergency button:
Go to Phone book _Emergency numbers _

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

CORRECT USAGE
¡This mobile phone is robust and designed for mobile operation.
However, it must be protected from moisture (rain, bath…) and impact.
¡Do not expose it to direct sunlight.
¡Any utilization other than described above will cause damage
to the device, and may be hazardous (electric shock, fire, etc.).
The entire product must not be altered or rebuilt,
and the housing must not be opened.

DISPOSAL
Disposal of packaging:
Packaging and packaging materials are recyclable and should
always be returned.
Disposal of batteries:

You may return them to your local collection point or to the dealer.
Disposal of the device:
Do not throw your mobile phone into the garbage, once it has

SMS (Short Message Service) is a short text message,
up to 160 characters in length. Costs are only incurred when
sending, not receiving SMS.

Sending a message: After typing the text, press 2x Send.
Enter the number or choose from phonebook

Receiving a message: A short signal and an display promp
inform you about a new, incoming text message.
With you can read the message now or
enter the menu Messages _SMS _Received SMS to access
the list of received messages.
PHONEBOOK
Save names and numbers (always includ the area code,
e.g. +44 for UK)

Emergency numbers (Add Emerg. No., Change Emerg. No,
Delete Emerg. No., Emergency button on/o), Copy all,
Edit contact, Delete, Mailbox number, PhoneBk settings.

Accessing the Phone book via text messages:
In the Phone book menu _enable SMS in PhoneBk,
to receive phonebook entries by text message.
Specify that only stored contacts may send phone book
entries to you (Only from PhoneBk).
The phone number is automatically saved in your phone
book, if the message is written in the following format:

Standby mode:
In standby mode the phone is turned on, but no active
applications (calling, messaging,…) are running.
¡Press the -key or -key to select the shown
(above the keys) option.
¡After a few seconds without input, the display is switched
o to save power. By an incoming call or pressing any key,
the screen turns on again automatically.
¡To return to the standby screen, press the -key
repeatedly or press and hold the -key until the standby
screen appears.
¡If you select a menu item, without conrming with ,
an information text about this menu item is shown afte a
while automatically. To hide the text, press the button.

FIRST STEPS
Press and hold the -key for 2seconds to switch on the
phone. To turn o, press and hold 2seconds again.
When using a new SIM card, enter the 4 digit PIN Code
(Personal Identication Number) and conrm with .
Note: The PIN-Code is a 4-digit number combination
preventing others from switching on your mobile phone.
