Step 1 Insert SIM card
Open and remove the back panel of the camera. To do that, use the screw-driver to loosen four screws
holding panel. After the back panel is removed gently insert the SIM card as showed in figures below.
Note: The manufacturer does not supply the SIM card, which is mandatory for setting up a
connection to the GSM network! The SIM card may be purchased from your GSM (mobile) service
provider!
Step 2 Attach antenna
Step 3 Install USB drivers (Windows)
1. Connect the AC/DC power adapter to the camera
2. Connect camera to the USB port.
3. Install FTDI drivers.
4. Open System in Control Panel: Start => Settings => Control Panel => System.
5. In the Hardware tab select Device Manager.
6. Expand Ports (COM & LPT), to find out USB Serial Port COM number. This number will be
used during the PPP connection configuration.

Step 4 Set PPP connection (Windows)
1. Connect the AC/DC power adapter to the camera and
2. Connect camera to the PC USB port.
3. Open Network connections in Control Panel:
Start => Settings => Control Panel => Network connections
4. Choose File => New connection. In the New Connection Wizard window click Next.
5. Select Set up an advanced connection click Next. Select Connect directly to another
computer and click Next.
6. Select Guest, click Next.
7. Enter the connection name and click Next.
8. Select COM port which was created by camera (refer to Quick Start Guide Step 3).
9. You may select Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop to have a connection shortcut
on the desktop.
10. Click Finish to end connection wizard.
11. In the connect window select Properties to customize connection.
12. In General tab press Configure. In the new appeared Modem configuration window define
Maximum speed (bps) to 115200 bps. Then uncheck Enable hardware flow control option.
Click OK to close modem configuration properties.
13. In Networking tab scroll down to Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and press Properties. Press
Advanced and uncheck Use default gateway on remote network. Click OK on all opened
configuration windows.
14. Connection is now configured and ready to run. Press Connect to establish PPP connection. After
the connection is established, the network icon appears in the Windows system tray. The icon
indicates link speed and activity.
