Compatibility
This charger is designed for:
Battery type: NiMH (Nickel-metal hydride)
Voltage range: 8.4V-9.6V (7- 8 cells in series)
Capacity range: between 600mAh and 2500mAh
Operation Instruction
1. Connect battery pack to output connector and plug in AC power source.
2. Make sure battery polarity is connected correctly (Red wire is positive).
3. After being connected correctly to the battery pack, the red LED will be on, showing that it is charging.
4. After battery is fully charged, LED will be green indicating the battery is fully charged.

Battery is fully charged, trickle charging in progress

Short-circuit or reverse-polarity detected
Specifications

Troubleshooting
Problem: Battery pack does not get fully charged
Possible reason: The charger’s safety timer is triggered after 5 hours, during which the charger can charge only up to
2500mAh.
Suggestion: If the battery’s capacity exceeds 2500mAh, disconnect the charger’s power plug, then connect it again to
reset the timer.
Problem: Battery pack gets very hot during charging
Possible reason: If the battery’s capacity is below 600mAh, this charger’s output may be too high for it. If the battery is
old (e.g. charged/discharged for over 300 cycles), it may also be approaching the end of its cycle life, causing high
impedance that leads to high heat during charging.
Suggestion: If battery’s capacity is below 600mAh, switch to a different charger with charge rate below 600mA. If the
battery is old, replace it, or closely monitor its temperature during charging, and disconnect to let it cool down when it gets
hot. Make sure the charging area is well ventilated, and that the battery pack and charger are not covered.
Warnings
1. Do not use with batteries under 600mAh or over 2500mAh
2. This charger is only designed for Ni-MH battery packs. Do not use with other battery types.
3. Do not leave your charger unattended while charging.
4. Pay attention to battery surface temperature. Stop charging when it feels very hot.
